Jacob was an excellent driver instructor, he’s friendly and professional. The routines and cost is realistic . Tia is a great road test instructor. She makes you comfortable. Remember to fill out a driver license form and bring $20 to get your photo taken at DMV. Be prepared to take a vision test again too.

They charge 100 dollars per test. If you fail you don’t get your money back and have to pay another 100 every time. This is a scam. Go to the dmv and wait to take the test if you need to wait.

Be careful coming here, depending on which instructor you get they will fail you and sell you driving lessons for a grand. Obviously a scam, do not go here unless you have a thousand dollars to spend.

I signed up for driving lessons and had Jacob as my instructor. He was very patient, informative, and encouraging. I felt at ease driving because he walked me through the steps, and corrected my mistakes in a calm manner without chastising me (an unfortunate experience I had with my initial instructor ). Jacob’s profound way of teaching student drivers was the very reason reason I was able to pass my test with confidence.

I went here to take my road test, and everything went smoothly! Right when I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff. The lady at the front desk, Joy, was very kind and made sure that all of my questions were answered before my road test. The test only cost $70; it was very quick and easy! My wife came here for the third time and finally passed. All 3 times were with different instructors and I just wanna say a special shout-out to Jose, not because he passed my wife lol but because she was telling me that he kept her calm and was being a great teacher so thank you Jose.

If youre trying to get your license, COME HERE! Had a very welcoming and comfortable experience! I was so nervous for my road test but the moment I entered the building with my wife (who was also taking a road test), we were greeted by Joy, who was working the front desk. She was very friendly and answered every question we had. Her answers helped calm my nerves. Then, I met my driving instructor, Tim, who was also very friendly, calm and laid back. The road test is $70 but trust me its worth it! Friendly, easy-going staff and the road test was really fast! When Tim told me I passed, I was so excited! My wife also had Tim as her instructor and she passed too! Before you take it just make sure you practice your parallel parking, your stops, merging, switching lanes and instruction following. Highly recommend this place to everyone, ESPECIALLY to those who are extremely nervous about their road test.

In business since 1978 this is one of many fine driving schools in the Anchorage area. ASD parents, remember to ask about getting credit for you child’s coursework there. I believe that any classes taken between June 1st and throughout the rest of the school year might be eligible for credit. Also, another potential benefit, remember to keep all records to give to your insurance company to take advantage of any discounts. It isn’t cheap to get coverage for teens!

I heard many people saying if you fail your first try you won’t have to pay including with your 2nd try but the first time I went and I fail they still made me pay?? Soooooo am I hearing false information or are they lying about this ?? And when I went to this place I didn’t have my own car so we took one of the employees car ?? Is this even allowed? It wasn’t even a student car or label as a STUDENT CAR .???? THIS PLACE IS BAD ! They will eat your money even if you fail on that first time !!

I have never drove in the city before I took the driving test, my instructor Danica was a great teacher. She was good at communicating, and she helped me become confident while driving . Ive learned a lot during the 8 hours of driving. I highly recommend this company and will refer my sister, friends and family Here. Now I gotta do my drivers test with them and I’m ready !

When I had failed the first time, the examiner had given me a few tips and had helped me to be better. After 7 days, I took my test again and I passed even with a different examiner. They’re very professional and confident with their job! It was a great and awesome learning experience and I got my license the same day I passed. Definitely recommended to anyone. Just be yourself, don’t be nervous, and know that every move that you make when the examiner is in the car are graded. Thank you!!!

This is probably the easiest road test you can take. I had Jose as my instructor, he was awesome. Really laid back and made me feel comfortable. The staff upfront was really friendly. I did a walk in and took my test as soon as I paid. Highly recommended!

My wife is trying to get her license and the man name Jose(?) Told my wife to stop when road was clear, and wanted her to stop in the middle of the road on a right of way. She refuses to complain, so I will make the complain about this man. He SHOULD NOT be an instructor and must find another occupation. Shes had to take it twice now and now they have lost credibility. They even had a learner instructor come with her and all they did was talk.

Excellent experience with drivers test, highly recommended We took both our Au Pairs from South America, English is their second language, here for their drivers test. Drivers Educational School, Inc. was very accommodating and patient. Recommended if you have a driver with English as second language as they are much more accommodating than the DMV and UMV.

My daughter had a good experience at this place for her drivers test. The employees were professional, nice, and helpful. My daughter was nervous but the tester was super nice and encouraging.

Signed up for the class after i failed my driving test at the dmv. My instructor was dave and he taught me a bunch of useful things during my 8 hours of driving with him. Then after finishing the 8 hour driving class i went to the 8 hour driving instructional class and during lunch i took my road test with Jose i passed my first attempt.I highly recommend this school.

I just love the experience. My Instructer Ben was so nice and patient. I enjoyed every minute with him. Totally worth the money for new drivers or any other reason just know it’s the best driving school totally returning back sometimes.

They weren’t clear with their instructions, he told to park between the 3 cones and then when I said I was done, he said you didn’t park between the inside 2. If he told me to park between those 2 I would have passed so he wasn’t clear with his instructions.

I had a wonderful experience at the Drivers Educational School. I was able to take in my daughter, who was home for a short time on leave from the military, to get her drivers license. I didnt have to make a reservation, we were able just walk in take the test and walk out. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. Yes, its a little more expensive than going to the DMV, but worth every penny when you dont have time to wait to get an appointment. I Highly recommend The Drivers Educational School.

I stopped by to do the road test with no prior appointment and was on the road in 10 minutes! The girl who was testing me was very nice, easy to talk to and gave me clear directions. The test took about 25 minutes and I passed! Even though I ran over a curb while trying to back out of the parking lot due to being extremely nervous - I still passed! I definitely recommend this school to take your road test at because I had a great experience with them! Be careful on the roads! ;)

I was very nervous about taking my road test but then the instructor was friendly and helped me calm down before my test. A week prior to my test I took a behind-the-wheel training session at AA Drivers Educational School and they made everything simple and easy to execute compared to what the other driving schools taught me. This driving school is excellent for both experienced and novice drivers and I strongly recommend it!

I had a great experience with the program, I learned a lot of driving tips and just learned how to be a better driver in general, my instructor Jose was great and automatically took the pressure off and was really calm and mellow with me. I highly recommend this program to anybody.

Second attempt she felt she only hit the curb with her wheel while the examiner claims she ran over the curb and was going to fast. Humh, well she did not know that she had failed he had her try again twice more and she successfully parked each time. He then asked her to go to the stop sign around the block and after the stop sign had her proceed forward and while passing by and proceeding forward he asked her to immediately turn into the business. Why did he not instruct her to go back and park instead having have to respond to his direction within seconds, this alone is risky while driving. So bottom line the charge will be disputed and the business and the examiners dishonesty and ethics will be reported to the BBB.

This gave a me a great experience with driving, the instructors were patient, helpful and professional. The courses were easy to understand and straightforward.

I did the walk in road test and used their car. The car drove great, the first time I took the road-test I made a big mistake and knew I messed up and the instructor still had a wonderful attitude and when we got back he was clear on what I needed to work on and where my mistakes were. I passed the second time, and with a different instructor he had a great attitude as well and was clear with instructions and made me feel at as ease as possible, knowing I was a little nervous because it was a test. Staff at the front desk was very helpful and an amazing attitude. She went through what I did wrong last time and showed me visually THE Double Lane roundabout on Dowling, and made it very clear, I have it down pat now. I am sorry to say I wasted money on a different drivers school improvement course only because it was cheaper, it was a poor experience there and if I had to do it all over again I would have chosen this school. Walked into used the DMV services, girl at the counter very snooty We DONT do DMV services, we never have. DMV is the only place that offers that, we are a driving school! Perhaps a little training on the business end is needed to let staff know what services offered, as well as some customer service skills. Horrible person to have on the front line of a business as it gives a bad impression and may not properly reflect your business.

To save a long story, the instructor did not clearly communicate to me, and then failed me on a technicality within 5 minutes of the test beginning. I went inside to explain that I thought I deserved a full test, seeing as I paid for a full test, but the lady at the front desk was very rude, and only responded in well rehearsed speeches. I plan on going back in to dispute the charge.

Overview of what was expected at the beginning of the drivers test was not the experience of the the actual test. Went there with three of my children and was fine however with my fourth child it was a terrible experience. the instructor Ben was out of line.

Theyre all about your money, and will fail you for the smallest mistakes. The instuctor is up-tight, Not to mention the gentleman behind the counter said there was a 3 strike system when in reality it was a 1 strike system. I feel like I wasted $100.

The instructors are helpful and you can learn in a car that they provide. They have a designated area to practice parallel parking and they give specific instructions on what you need to do to improve.

I went to this place twice and failed both times. I understand I still need some practise to become a safe driver but I would like to leave my review about the expirience with this company.First test the instructer who tested me was a nice lady and she made me very comfortable and confident. I actually could not pass by just a point and over all was so happy with her that I booked another try in a week. It is more expensive than the DMV but they are open on a Saturday AND you dont need an appointment so I went for it.However my 2nd expirience was bad. First I was told that I did not pass my parallel parking last time- which was not true because the lady instructor told me I did a good job on it.Second I did not get the man who was going to test me but he was very unprofesional. He looked at my papers and made a comment about me not passing the first time. Then because I was using my personal car he made a comment about it not working well in reverse- his comment was that the car must not like me.When he inspected my car he did not do the same sort of inspection as the lady did the week before. On the parralel parking he did not ask the same requests as the lady did the week before.I do believe that the test needs to be performed the same way and not have changes in what you are asked to do.Also when we were leaving the parking lot he asked me to do a left turn on road. I waited for a proper gap in traffic and when I took the turn he yelled that i did not wait long enough and grabbed my wheel off my hands making me loose control over the car. I deffiently used my mirrors and also did not hear anyone blowing their horn at me but lets assume it was my mistake. From that point forward he basically did not perform the test. He did not say I failed and ask me to go back but he made me go trough the same rout like the lady did except I know he was not paying attention at my driving because I was going trough a school zone and I slowed my speed and he asked me why I am slowing down. He also did not take any notes of my driving at all.When we returned at the office I got out of the car he did not even take the time to look trough the score or tell me why I failed (although I know he failed me for that turn). All he said is- try again next week and also he tried offering me their short class with a road test in the end for $300.Over all it made me feel like he did not do a good job explaining to me. Did unecessary comments and tried to basically sell me their services in the end.I already spent $150 so i dont plan on spending $300 more with the same place. Thank you very much.If you decide to choose this company I would reccomand you book your test and request their female instructor for it. Otherwise you may end up with a rude employee who fails you without explaining much. So 3 stars from me because of the female instructor otherwise it would have been one.Good luck to all of you.

This place is only concerned about taking your money. Not only is it ridiculously over priced, the exameners are clueless. I waited in their waiting room for and hour and a half and watched 5 different people fail. As I took my test, I aced it flawlessly and on the turn back into the bussiness I went 3 miles over the speed limit and got an automatic fail. ON THE LAST TURN OF THE TEST. When I finally went to a new driving school they told me that AA ILLEGALLY failed me, so I have to comfront them about it to get my money back. I recommend never going here unless youd like to waste you money and get screwed over.

I signed my son up and paid in full $790 June 18th for class and driving dates July 25-31. Their office called me July 22nd and told me his class/driving dates were in August (after the start of school) and that I had not paid. They offered no other summer dates after they made this huge error. They found that I did indeed pay in full and will process a refund. So, we are out of luck on getting his class/training done before high school starts. Very disappointed, especially since classes are booked up now for the rest of the summer.

A very bad and unproffesional experience. Will not recommend with anybody that likes a good service! The lady on the service made us wait for 30 minutes FOR NOTHING! Wasted my time! So when we came there she told us to sit and wait. And when it was our turn i told her were here for a drive test for my cousin she said im sorry were gonna close in 5 mins, you can just comeback next time IT WOULDVE BEEN NICE IF THEY TOLD US THAT THEY CANT ACCOMODATE US RATHER THAN JUST MAKING US WAI FOR NOTHING!!! I was cut off and nearly ran off the road by one of the SUVs used by this company for training. I called their business number to inform them of the situation only to let them know of what had happened; I was told by whomever answered the phone that I should be more careful of student drivers and pay attention to what Im doing. If Im not mistaking, drivers education is to teach people how to drive safely, not cause accidents. Then for the professional people working in the office to tell a concerned citizen that they are wrong for driving safe and its their fault the student driver ran them off the road is just unnacceptable. My entire experience with this company was just rude and unwelcomed. My children will not be sent to this company for any type of drivers training/ education; especially if the golden rule is well you are just a student its not your fault.

This is a bad place they racist and lying characters are all involved. They are robbing people. There is no credibility. How many times I have to take the exam? Does all my money end?

I took my Road test here and i didnt like it all.....Most people taking it there were apart of the classes within the program etc....so i wasnt and the instructer took it harsh on me and i can tell because he didnt like the way i was taught(taught from my parents etc....) but the instucture i was with i did not like to....i did fail the test due to some mistakes but i hate how you lose $70 for a lose situation...but this experience was good overall.........
