My visit to Norris Mechanical welding left me so happy. This is a top notch school. Jerry gives one on one training to each student. The weld booths are set up spacious. The shop is clean and organized. I highly recommend the welding school to any and all students.Thank you Jerry for the tour.

It is a great welding school. My grandson went there and got a terrific job welding at a nuclear station that was built. He really enjoyed it. He is a great teacher. He spends a lot of time with his pupils. I know of several boys that went to school there and they all got good jobs. He is an accredited school for welding.

Norris Mechanical is AWESOME! I attended here for the Pipe welding course. I felt like I started immediately because of the open enrollment that they offer, I signed up for the local tech college and it would have took me a year and a half to get to where I wanted to be. I attended Norris mechanical for a total of 6 weeks, four of which were full time because I decided to quit my job and follow my passion. I had a ton of one on one time with Dale, who’s the owner and instructor at Norris mechanical. Because of that time, I excelled very quickly. Within a little over 6 weeks I started my career in pipe welding. I love it! I’m so grateful that Dale decided to follow his passion which is teaching people how to weld. Without Dale I would be still waiting on school to start! Dale had every thing we needed, and not to mention we had fun! I highly recommend Norris Mechanical, to anyone who is wanting to pursue a career in welding!

Today I had the pleasure of seeing Norris Mechanical in action! I’m super thankful for their continuous support for me in every pageant I have competed in. The owners, Dale Norris and Amanda Thrasher-Norris, are some of the most kind and down to earth people you will ever meet! As the sister of a former welding student at Norris Mechanical, I have see first hand how they go above and beyond to ensure the success of their students.I was also able to meet three of their current welding students and I was shown a few different types of welds. The students were very knowledgeable in their skill thanks to the guidance of their instructor Mr. Norris. I highly recommend you give Norris Mechanical a try if you are considering a career in Welding. There was no other option of getting a trade school certification for me because i didn’t have 2 years to a to spare being that i had a family to Provide for and working 12 hr shifts. More than happy that i found Norris Mechanical. Dale is an expert at teaching in my opinion and very hands-on. Would recommend Norris Mechanical to anyone that’s trying to get a welding certification or just perfect their kraft!!

Dale Norris is a great welding instructor who has his CWI license which is a certified welding inspectors license. He will help you be prepared and certified for your career in welding. Great school I highly recommend it.

Norris Mechanical is an awesome welding program! You get to have a flexible schedule, one on one training since there are few students each day, and teaching from one of the best instructors around! They treat you like family so it doesnt always feel like school or work. Even if you arent in Anderson, and you have the chance to go here take that opportunity! Also, Mr. Norris can help with testing for jobs and help you look for one as well.

I couldnt imagine a better place to learn welding. They have good equipment, skilled staff, one on one lessons, and glad I chose to learn here.
