It is an interesting concept. The employees fall short however, they work as a team, alright, but to denigrate and belittle those who do not fit in. Despite pretending to be understanding individuals, their private conversations rectify any positivity you might be inclined to attribute. Oh well, the world needs its next generation of editors.
Visited as a customer and encountered some fairly unfriendly staff members. The store is also a little less inspired than other 826 locations. Overall, it was nice to stop in, but I was a little underwhelmed.
They are a clicky bunch. There is not much problem solving skills among them. Most of the volunteers and staff are heavy drinkers. Before joining, make sure you read up on your top-shelf smarm. It will make the bleeding-heart-liberal-choking-on-cough-syrup-like conversations go down easier because youll understand where they are coming from: a sell-out authors imaginary world.
