I had been studying English in MLC for the long haul before landing a nursing job leaving there. It was an amazing experience for me with each friendly MLC staff, professional and patient teachers, and lovely classmates! I never thought I could finish lots of things required for becoming a Registered Nurse in the US before I came to MLC. But since I was here, my life has been changing every day in every possible way. My instructor was great and the staff were very friendly. They offered various activities online and webinars and I especially liked the writing assessment and impromptu webinar.I enjoyed the experience at MLC overall, but I still felt the tuition was expensive compared to other ESL classes. If the tuition had been lower, I would have taken more classes.

I really enjoyed the class and I improved my listening and speaking skills after studying at MLC.And also, MLC has a lot of club activity outside of lesson.You would be able to learn English as well as culture.

Its an awesome place for international students . I and my nephew took courses here and both of us had wonderful experiences with MLCs staffs. They gave us more than language lessons. One of the main reasons why I joined MLC was to develop my academic English specifically. They have a TOEFL preparation course taught by Ms. Kerri Johnson, who has a long experience in teaching English. She helped me improve my speech for the TOEFL test and to develop my reading and listening skills in general as well. And in the writing course with teacher Joshua my writing skills improved significantly. MLC was one of my most beautiful experiences in America and I thank them very much for what they have given me.

MLC is a great place to meet people from various cultures.The environment is super friendly. Though the building is very small, they do a lot of activities, and every student gets an equal attention in the class room.They are also open to students suggestions and ideas to imrove.

My company works with MLC to have all our international employees join their custom sessions for language improvement. MLC is awwwwsome! We had so much good experience with them. They customized lessons based on our needs and our requests. Their class is not just about learning but having fun! In the class, you play, you laugh, you practice, and you learn! Unlike any of the traditional education, their education focuses on experience and happiness. Out of class, MLC keeps building connections and friendships with us. We went out to a bar to learn about American culture and talk about funny circumstances we bumped into. We had dinner at their place together to meet new friends from different countries. We took them to new bubble tea place to share our culture back in China. It is just so much fun to be with them!

It is really amazing place for studying English . All teacher are great , respectful and professional .The tuition is reasonable . I used to study English in Wayne State University ,but it is not worth it . The same material that I took in Wayne state I take it in MLC with friendly and very nice teachers with lower tuition.My conversion skill is improving because of friendly atmosphere. The environment is very comfortable and the MLC staff are really generous. You can print your papers for free . Also, coffee, tea and WiFi are available for free. They also offer facilities if you are seeking to get acceptance in American university .they always have fun activities. I really love it.

It is located in downtown Ann Arbor and is close to multiple bus stops, making it easy to reach and convenient.There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, so you dont have to worry about cafes and lunch places with your classmates at the end of the class.The class consists of around 10 students and students from about 6-7 countries.The teachers are really professional, and a friend who had experience attending a language school in New York told me that the teachers quality was so high that it was incomparable to the NY school.There are also plenty of non-class activities.In International Day, where students from each country can introduce their own culture, students introduced each others traditional costumes, cuisine, and cultural backgrounds.Thanksgiving day provides the school with an opportunity to experience American culture, as well as business clubs, game clubs, etc. that discuss mainly on pronunciation clubs and recent business models on regular weekdaysVarious activities are provided free of charge.If you want to touch English, you can jump into the environment as much as you like!All classmates are highly motivated to learn and inspire.At the end of the class, everyone can go to the café and participate easily in MLC-sponsored events, including their partners, so I think it ’s great to share time with the whole family.

During my stay in Ann Arbor this summer, I signed up for classes at MLC - and it has been a great experience. The teachers I have met are great, all the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. In addition, from time to time activities are organized outside of school hours in which they have a great time. There is also a volunteer club that allows anyone who wishes to contribute their bit to the local community through activities of all kinds. But what has struck me the most personally has been the people I have met at this school: it is a very diverse place where all the continents are present. The friends Ive been able to make and the experiences Ive had have made this a fantastic summer. MLC may be a bit pricey, but the memories I take back from it are priceless.
