Ive been flying with Solo Aviation for about 2 years to the day and I have nothing bad to say. The aircraft are regularly maintained by their team of trained mechanics, and the instructors are top notch in the state. Plus, I have never seen wet rentals that cheap! I would definitely recommend Solo Aviation to an aspiring aviator.

I love coming to this place for my ppl, really good staff and they are accommodating for your schedule and being in the Air force they do take MIGSAP and I believe they are the best flight school in the state honestly

The staff here, pilots and ground crew are all so willing to help. I drove in the other day just to ask an FAA regulation question and got a lesson. Such a great group.

Took a few lessons here. Ill never recommend anyone go here for flight school. I first gave them 5 stars then after a few lessons ended up going elsewhere. Two stars is an honest rating. At the time I was inexperienced and asked a lot of questions to learn. Trust me. Dont waste your time here. Then now one star. This is a terrible establishment.

Very friendly and helpful

I began training with them to finish my PPL after moving from my prior place of training. However, the staff at Solo aviation did not verify that I was competent in all aspects required, resulting in me failing my check ride. The company continuously ignored maintenance issues that were reported with the aircraft and did not repair them. After my check ride the break pedal snapped and the company tried to blame me for it. A mechanic from Solo Aviation had overlooked the broken pedal after it was reported and the airplane was okayd to fly the next day. After this they revoked my flight status and refused to continue my training.

The worst Academy ever . You will engage in fraud. You can take the private pilot license in 40 hours. But they give you it after the 60 hours. The instructors are always trying to take money from you in any way. By telling you i think you are not ready to pay more money .. So if you want to save your money .. Do not go there .

Frank,I seriously doubt that you were hosed at Solo. I know the chief flight instructor as she was one of my instructors many a year ago. The last time someone got their PPL in 40 hours the FAA was probably still issuing paper certificates.At a minimum, be specific as to your perceived shortcoming with the school.

I think Frank just couldnt figure out how to fly I have never been pressed for any money and have never had anything but the best experiences
