Our boys have loved their teachers and experience at Daycroft. The teachers are fantastic and know our kids well. The specialty programs are amazing (art, music, Spanish, PE and STEM) and the after school enrichment programs are superb. We feel lucky to have found Daycroft!

We moved to Ann Arbor after more than 10 years in Detroit, mostly to access the best school system we could find for our daughter. She had experienced the Montessori education in pre-school at Detroit Midtown Montessori before it closed. My wife and I are strong supporters of the Public School system, and she went to Kindergarten at King Elementary. Despite a horrible year, we hoped for the best and she started 1st grade. We made it to Christmas break without too much drama, and as we work a lot, we placed her for a week at Greenhouse Montessori (see my other review) for a week before school restarted in January. We had not realized how much we missed the Montessori system! We immediately decided to apply for Daycroft Montessori and switch schools early February. What a difference!!! Walk in the school and you see peaceful classes, children walking (not running) in the hallways, confident and proud students that politely address you and tell you about their work (even if not asked). The staff and teachers are exceptional and welcome you gently. Even dropping off your child in the morning is calm and organized and full of smiles (I remembered being yelled at at King Elementary for getting out of my car to get my daughter out).Within a few days our daughter was starting to ask to do math at home, reads every night, during every car trip and comes back home every day rested and calm. If you are a parent you realize how precious a gift this is!

Our son has had an amazing preschool experience at Daycroft, with wonderful teachers and lots of hands-on learning. Im ashamed to admit, but he already knows more about geography than I do.
