AHS is a very diverse High School. If your child enjoys sports, clubs, art, drama...its all here. There is something here for everyone. Please dont let the negative comments or press discourage you from coming here. We have nothing but great things to say about all the teachers and the staff. Not only are they accommodating, but truly care about your child. We almost went to a private school and we are so very thankful that we gave it a try. It exceeded all our expectations and more. Like all public/private schools, you will find things that need to be improved, but I assure you, its a safe place. I have the utmost confidence that the staff and principal do everything in their power to assure a safe learning environment. Give it a try and dont listen to what others say about it. Try it out for yourself. If it doesnt work for your child, you can always find another option, but what if it does........
