I AGREE with the first statement above BAD SCHOOL.. everything they said I experienced too and put my kids behind. I just wish I would of pulled them out sooner ..

Unfortunately there isnt enough words in the world to express my pure disappointment in this school as well as in the district. It was my first time enrolling my children in the Public school system. My eldest two had previously attended a Charter school that offered smaller classrooms and teachers that went above and beyond to take care of each student. At first glance the school appeared clean and I was optimistic to what they described their curriculum as. After just three months I was just DONE!! First, they boast of their care toward their special needs children but what they consider caring for one area they are neglecting another. How can you truly expect your child to get the attention and education they need when they are distracted daily by children in the same room with them learning a different lesson plan? Secondly, I watch the flow of homework and the consistency of the lesson plan.....the curriculum is just weak and pathetic! My kindergartener takes under 2 min. to complete her homework...there was no challenge and the teachers faith in the her students was so SAD! She believes that there is no reason to explain the homework to the students because they will just forget it when they get home. Didnt she the teacher learn in her supposed education that repetition is KEY in a childs development? And finally, the school bases all its scheduled events for parents who dont work, all concerts and activities were scheduled during school hours. Where as the previous school was after hours....shows the REAL dedication of this school staff since such an arrangement was not available. Every time I have left voicemails and written letters requesting teachers to call me I NEVER get called back. To me it is a prime example of how committed these teachers are to do their job and take pride in it. I have high expectations for my children and I expect the VERY BEST in regards to their education. I highly recommend that if you are a DEVOTED and COMMITED PARENT you will heed my warning and not even consider wasting your time with this school. They should close their doors because it is obviously set up to educate a generation of ill-educated children with teachers who are there to just collect a paycheck. It makes me sick that I wasted a year of my childrens precious education time frame at this school....now they may have to play catch up at the higher standard school they will be attending next year.
