I stumbled upon Karen at a local coffee shop giving a group of kids a lesson about a year ago. I caught her afterward and chatted with her for a few minutes. She was super friendly and I really liked her style so the next time my girls were tracked out, we signed up for a class. They had a great time so a few months later, I hired her for my daughters birthday party. All the girls were thrilled to get to take home their own piece of art! We started to notice my older daughter starting to sketch more so we signed her up for some private lessons and from there she has just taken off! We are currently meeting with Karen any chance we can to build my daughters portfolio. She has taught her amazing techniques and several different mediums. Weve been thrilled watching her grow in her abilities and her confidence. Thank you Karen!

My daughter started painting with Karen last year when she was 5. At first she was so shy and hesitant. She didnt think she painted well and had a hard time excepting her own unique style. Karen creates such a supportive and encouraging experience and after a few months, my daughters confidence just took off. Her paintings are wonderful and best of all she now believes she is an artist! So glad we found Karen, shes a jewel!

WOW! Best Art Classes in Raleigh!! She does fun and kid-popular art classes in a fun and no-pressure atmosphere. My kids have attended at least 20 of these classes judging by the beautiful art work that is displayed on our walls--everything from crabs, sea turtles, to fashionista girls, unicorns with gems, elephants, spooky cat, hunted house, very cool guitar and so many more! And my daughter went to one of her fashion camps from 9-12 and it was an absolute blast! These classes are all about fun and creating something unique and inspiring to your child. Love, love these classes. Great for afterschool, camps, churches, homeschool, Girl or Boy Scouts and birthday parties!! We love Cool Mama Crafts!!
