My daughter and I loved learning some new techniques and handy tips. The teacher was wonderful! So fun and helpful and encouraging. We cant wait to go back!

We absolutely LOVED our experience at Taste Buds Kitchen for my sons 4th birthday party! The staff was incredibly patient and engaging with the children. They had everything planned and ready to go for the kids to make pizza and decorate cupcakes. The staff took care of everything for the party as well! When they say they take care of everything, they mean it! They set up the food trays for my adult guests, coordinated the setting up of the cake and cutting it into slices, and had lovely touches around the kitchen to celebrate my son. It was definitely worth the money and we will be back for more events and classes! Thank you, TBK!

HAD A BLAST!!! Lisa gave us some great basic kitchen tips as well as advanced advice on pasta artistry. Male Revue got cancelled so we came here for my birthday instead and had tons of fun making delicious pasta! I recommend for any birthday or corporate event. Definitely coming back for squash night! No need to bring nothing but drinks and friends!!! Oh and empty stomachs!

My company held a team building cooking class at the kitchen and we had an absolute BLAST! Their team was extremely professional, the facility was exceptionally clean and the class was informative/fun. Plus, the food was amazing and the portion sizes were larger than we expected.We have nothing but good things to say about our experience and the staff at Taste Buds Kitchen!

My 4-year-old daughter LOVED the 3 hour camp. She was very happy and couldn’t stop talking about it. I just wish they offered more drop-off camps throughout the month instead of once a month. My daughter loves being dropped off without mom. She feels more independent. She tells me “ok you can go now mom” whenever I’m checking her in. She loves it. Great atmosphere for children.

The class was fun and the environment was relaxing and enjoyable. The one thing I didn’t care for was the sharing of all food and cooking experience with the stranger at your table. The mother-daughter at our table were very sweet and we had good conversation, but for the money I was caught off guard by not realizing we would have to share food, utensils, measuring, mixing, cooking time, everything with people we didn’t know. It would have been nice to know this set up beforehand. Not sure $45 a person is worth splitting everything four ways.

Taste Buds Kitchen in Apex was an absolutely delightful place to have my daughters 9th birthday party. Lisa and her staff were so easy to work with to plan the event and the day of I didnt have to worry about anything except showing up and bringing the birthday cake (which is usually unheard of when planning/executing a birthday party). My daughter and her friends absolutely loved getting to cook and decorate and the entire event went so smoothly in timing and the amount of fun had by all. I cant recommend this location or staff enough and my daughter cant wait for her next event at Taste Buds Kitchen. Thanks so much!

Weve done several parent-child classes that were great, and my daughter wanted to have her birthday party here. She and her guests had a BLAST. The staff there is amazing-they kept 11 8-year-old girls entertained and on-task. All my pre-party questions were answered quickly and efficiently. I cannot say enough good things about this business.

I have been there a few times and we loved it!! Some have been with my little kids (2-3y) and others with my wife on their date dinner nights. Its a great experience, highly recommended. Big kudos to Chef Lisa! Thank you.

We had an awesome time at my 6 year old daughters birthday party. The staff were so patient and made the process so much fun! We made soft pretzels and decorated unicorn cupcakes.

The experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable and made it very easy to learn. The experience gave us some new ideas for future meals and well definitely be back.

Staff was great at explaining steps and teaching. Food was great, not solely because we made it. Great experience for a date night.

We enjoyed everything about the experience. We did this to celebrate our anniversary and it was a great gift idea. Lisa did a thorough job of explaining how to make each dish and did so in such a way that we were made very comfortable in preparing each dish.Cant wait to do this again!

We went to the pasta making class for my mom’s 51st birthday, and it was a superb experience. I’ve been to several cooking classes and demonstrations, and this was by far one of the best. None of us (me, my mom, or sisters) knew anything about making homemade pasta, but the course was great even for beginners. The staff was extremely helpful, and, most importantly, the meal was great. We shall be back!

My grandson Ben and I enjoyed our first cooking class immensely. The ingredients and equipment were set out beautifully. Lisa and Allison were very friendly and engaging towards the chefs and their sous chefs! Ben couldnt wait to show his culinary creation to his mom and tell her all about his experience.

My kids love TBK very much. They said they had a very good cooking experience by sharing jobs with the other kids. And they love the food very much which they made everyday. Thanks a lot!

The kitchen was immaculate. The tools, table and chairs were all designed with little ones in mind. My children stayed engaged and were pleased to eat their creations. This was my first time here, but I would definitely return for more childrens classes!

My daughter Juliette loves it. The staff (who is the owner and mom) are amazing. They explain everything in detail where my daughter can come home and cook the same meal. They make it fun and allow Juliette to learn how to use all the cooking equipment. She will be going back even after the summer is over. Thank you so much... Mirtha

We had such a fun team building event! The staff was super professional and really made our event fun! We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this to our friends. Not only was it fun but our meal was DELICOUS! We did the Chinese takeout and wow it was yummy. Cant wait to make this at home!

Great staff and very engaging for small or large groups of kids! Would definitely recommend their camps as well as private parties.

My 8 year old son loved the morning he spent here. He has been to two other cooking camps and he felt Taste Buds was the best one yet. He liked that he got to do everything from start to finish. And he loved the food! Just wish they had a full day camp.

L (3) had a great time & learned a ton on Saturday morning at the Monster Cupcakes class! We will definitely be back.

This is a really amazing kitchen! There are a lot of opportunities to get kids cooking and using their hands to make something. My family especially looked the gingerbread making. We will certainly come back and look into birthday parties and track out camps!

I just want to thank Lisa and her team for throwing such an amazing party for my daughters 8th birthday, especially her professionalism and courage to execute the plan under an unpredictable circumstance. Kids aged from 7 - 11 all had great fun! Will highly recommend without any hesitation.

My husband and I enjoyed the environment, the instructors, and the hands on cooking. The demos were clear and helpful. We made croissants and eclairs. All from scratch! We will return for another class, the Chinese takeout sounds yummy and fun!

I had my first cooking class tonight. It was really a lot of fun and the food was delightful! The chef, Lisa, is a thorough and patient teacher. She had all of the raw materials and cooking utensils ready, and all we had to do was watch her demonstrations and listen to her instructions and try it ourselves. We prepared the whole meal from start to finish. The final culinary product was a delicious meal of meatballs (Albondigas), butternut squash empanadas, and spicy potatoes (Patatas Bravas), all of your own creation. Yum! Maria kept the whole operation running smoothly, working quietly in the background. Of course, having a kind and unassuming partner like Shannon makes everything more enjoyable. Attended the mothers day event - Very organized; clear instructions that kids follow well; instructors are sweet & know how to make the whole experience fun filled for kids. Definitely coming back.

We had our daughters 13th birthday party at Taste Buds Kitchen and it was fabulous! It was 10 girls making cupcakes - with a little competition - and having a great time. TBK provided all the cooking supplies, ingredients, and instruction - but gave them some space to do their own thing. The girls had a blast.

We took a family cooking class and it was great! The instructor was so patient and took her time explaining each step and the food turned out amazing!

It was a GREAT date night for my wife and I! The instructors were excellent in informing and educating us about the food, where it was from and how it was best prepared. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable about the ingredients, and how they would taste separately and together. I learned a lot of new cooking techniques, and learned a lot about the instruments (pans, knives, etc.), that were used. I had never cooked risotto, because I thought that it was super complicated, was something that was reserved for a master chef, and I was afraid of it. The instructors broke down/explained the ingredients that we would be using, step by step, and the reasoning behind it, and made the process of making the risotto and the whole meal look like child’s play. I also never knew how easy it was to make whipped cream and if you overwhip it, you would end up making butter. The instruction on even the proper way to hold a knife, to chop, why you should leave the root part on the bottom of the shallot, why you should/how you should wash leeks, and why you should use a “bear claw”, among NUMEROUS other things, blew my mind and will make cooking in the future, less intimidating and much more enjoyable. I also have a new recipe to add to my repertoire too. I really LOVED the salmon that was provided by Apex Seafood & Market too! It was SUPER fresh and delicious! I hope that they provide the seafood for all of your classes!

Excellent birthday party venue with kind and patient teachers and a lovely CLEAN facility. It is a tad on the pricey side but for the convenience and quality, was totally worth it.

Our daughter has participated in Cooking Camp this week during Spring Break, and she has had a great time. The staff have been responsive and helpful, and shes already looking forward to the next camp.
