I didnt see a now hiring sign up anywhere, however maybe hiring additional help at this point would be useful. I stood in line for 15 mins with nobody acknowledging me or assisting other people in line. Needless to say, I left my items there and went somewhere else.

The other day, I came into the store looking for a chair for my home office, and Natasha was very helpful in helping me pick a chair and she even brought it to the register for me and then helped me bring it out to my car as well since it was heavy. I also get greeted every time I come into the store and the employees there really make me feel welcome. They are always ready to help with a smile on their face and it makes a big difference. Michelle was an absolute life saver! Opening a new business I needed a lot of things quickly and I had no idea how to do any of it. Michelle helped me through step by step she created exactly what I envisioned! I was blown away with her work and how professional she was! I will definitely be using her for all my business needs! I visited this store twice; encountered nothing but lazy, morons who had zero interest in providing customer service. GO TO STAPLES IN CARY.

My rewards account was hacked into twice. Corproate told me they would email me a gift card. They didnt. They refuse to answer my emails. I have called the store to push this up the chain of command. They always promise they will call me back and never do. This has been going on since May. I will never step foot inside an Office Depot again. I will spend my money at a company that respects its customers. I have been waiting 2 weeks for someone to call me back about my stolen rewards. I need to buy school supplies but will go elsewhere since I am not respected.

They do not have good customer service. I was in need of ink for my printer really bad. I called them to see if they had the ink and they told me yes. I said I was on my way. I get there and theyre closed. The manager would not let me in to purchase the ink no matter what. Very disappointing.

Used the self-service copier to make some urgent copies. The interface is frustratingly slow but I understand the challenge of trying to connect the tender collection with service delivery. The copier accomplished the mission without me having to wait in line, so great marks for service delivery options.

The manager in the copy center is very rude and refuses to provide the service we request. Asked her to print in any quality paper and she insisted it has to be printed as a poster at 5 times the price. Has done this before but she refused to do it. Went to staples who was glad to do it at a reasonable price. Office max, have you heard about giving the customer what they want ?

Very helpful team, and well stocked store. I enjoy the fact they have multiple chairs built and ready to sit test. Buying a chair on the internet isnt as easy as one might think. At least if you re looking for something long term comfortable. I went in, and they have chairs rated for how many hours one can sit in them. I was surprise none had a value much more than 6 hours, and suppose this is very telling of our new economy sedentary work lives. So, I walked out with two chairs, and remain floored at the wealth of ideas a walk into this store can provide. They have everything from multiple colors of paper. I mean heavy duty card stock to use in your printer for your own customized invitations and greeting or birthday cards. They have highlighters in more sizes and colors than I could have imagined. They carry a host of post it note colors, sizes and competing brands. Need desk supplies? This place has what you need. Ive found the crew very friendly, and they even offered to carry the chairs to my car. It turned out, I didnt have room for both of them at the same time, but its so close to home, it didnt take long for me to work it all out. Ive never had a bad experience here, and am glad we still have this type of facility, as I realize more and more of these brick and mortar types are shrinking in size. I almost forgot to mention, they have an old school print support area where you can go in and receive help like a Kinkos.

Recently went here to swap out a defective laptop issued to me by my company that was purchased at an out of state Office Depot. Glenn, assisted by Scott and Tom, made the experience extremely easy and fast, and Im back to work. Ive come here for school/office supplies over the years but this was the first time I needed fairly major product support from them and it was a great experience.

Went to pickup some ink at this office max location. Was looking for someone to help me but couldnt fine anyone. As I was standing in the ink aisle another lady walked passed me and all suddenly this older white caucasian woman who works there walked passed me to ask the caucasian lady next to me if she needed help. They both walked passed me so I thought I can ask her a simple question about the genetic ink? I didnt even finish asking her. All I said was, excuses me She was very rude, rolled her eyes and said im busy helping other costumers and walked away! Until Office MAX train their employees to act better I will not be returning to this location! Honestly made me feel out of place bc of my skin color! Racism is real Yall!

Beware of the print and copy center. I took curriculum in to have the spine removed and spiral bound. I spoke to four different peoole and at no point did anyone state any concerns with completing the requested work. Of the four books they attempted, two were messed up. The one is crooked and half the pages arent in the binding because they didnt straighten the cut before binding. Unfortunately, it cant be repaired and needs to be replaced. The other book they attempted to cut, but stopped a quarter of the way through the spine. I was handed back a book with the cover and first few chapters cut out. I ended up taking it to a competitor who helped me remove the remaining pages, straighten the edges and spiral bind it. Something OfficeMax was unable or unwilling to do. Very dissatisfied. I guess the only upside is they didnt attempt the other five books I took in.

Dropped in to buy a couple pieces of in-stock office furniture. The store was very quiet, I think there were more employees than customers. I was told they would have it right out. After 20 minutes of being ignored I left.

Office Max is a great store, with the workers and products. But, with the prices, they are a bit too high, I once bought folders and a few writing tools, and in total, it was $55! I was shocked. But other than that, I recommend this store for you.

EDIT: I go in here a lot, for supplies and print services. What I can tell from my experience is that they are short staffed. The worst thing I see coming here are customers. They walk in like if the store is huge and can’t look for things. They get upset because they cannot be helped right away. Then in the print center, employees are treated poorly because they can’t control prices, turn around times or work fast like if they where at McDonald’s.most of the time customers do not come prepared and expect them to do the job in 2 mins. My suggestion is go somewhere else if you expect fast food service. They all work hard and coming by face to face customer service is a rare thing. All In all enjoy the knowledge and patience they have, come prepared, with time and be thankful if not there is Walmart? Go Office max/Depot!

Helpful staff to help me locate items I needed.

Stopped in to look at laser printers the other day. Not sure if employees work on commission, but the guy that assisted me, while nice, was really pushing their high end models even after I explained it was for personal use, not the office.

I recently needed a half-decent color printer for a new project and went here to pick one up since I like being able to return things like this locally if needed. The staff were quick to come help and had good feedback for me, and although they were not pushy, they took me straight to some of the more expensive models and I couldnt escape the feeling that their end of the conversation was about why I needed to buy that one, and less about which would be the best value for my money. They need to improve on that a bit. It was otherwise a good experience.

For the 2nd time, i was not acknowledged with a greeting. I had to find help on the self serve printer. I needed help again & it was a customer who helped me. This store needs alot of work with customer service as far as im concerned.

I get all of our supplies there for home and office! My favorite long-timers are Karen and Max!! They KNOW how to make you feel like a VIP customer :-)

Always seems to be someone to ask if you need help, I found what I needed and check out was fast and efficient

Had some files printed there and they were all wrong. Then the employees acted like it was so annoying that they had to reprint my stuff because THEY messed up. I paid for it a certain way and I expect to get it that way. I never got an apology for their mistake, I was only made to feel like I put the order in wrong. Also the color printing looked terrible and when I tried to tell them that it was not as clear as when I had the same file printed at the crossroads location, they tried to find excuses like it must be the file or maybe the paper. If you ever need anything printed or copied DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! Go to the one at Crossroads instead.

Go to this location if you have lots of time to spare ... and I am talking in terms of 10mins to 3 hours for couple of prints.

Horrible customer service ..Bought a tablet that failed within the hour went back for an exchange that turned into an ordeal that lasted an hour with threats of restocking fees and manager disappearing for 35 minutes..do not buy anything from this place if you want service...They ice no clue the manager acts if he owns the corporation and he is givivg the customers his own money..Also wrote to corporate hoping for help..

If you need it on time dont go here. If you need it two days after it was supposed to be done, dont go. If you never want your order, then go here. As they will never call you and tell you the machine broke or they couldnt figure it out, or just didnt get it done because they were too busy. My order still isnt completed a week after

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Jenny is the worst. I am going to tell everyone I know just how rude and unhelpful she is and tell them to go elsewhere for their office supplies. I will never buy another thing from this store again as long as she is working there. Shame on Office Max for hiring someone who treats their customers this way.

Was looking for a particular item that I couldnt locate. Asked a supervisor who was walking around if they had it. Was told no. I then turned one more isle and found it. Exactly what I needed. I hate when employees just say no without actually helping the customer. This is the second time this has happened here.

Printed and binded documents for a meeting/presentation. Staff was great and very knowledgeable.

Took a while to find what I needed. But I was able to find a employee that knew what I was asking for pretty quick.

Note that weekly adv, web site, and store prices are often different.

The 20 percent off coupon is a scam. Cant use it for paper or printer ink. Useless!
