I can’t express how grateful I am for this facility, administration and especially teachers at Ladybird Rock Springs. I had two very awful experiences at other local daycares where I couldn’t stomach watching the teachers “rough handling” the kids (avoid Ladybird Academy of Ocoee please!). Rock Springs was my third attempt in enrolling my daughter, and thank God I finally found the right place! First off, Administration is extremely responsive, organized and efficient. They worked with me to transfer all my paperwork and had me set on day one with cameras and daily reporting app. Teachers are the #1 reason why my child had adapted so well! They are caring, kind, playful, attentive, and gentle. My one year old has done extremely well in their care and has even started signing “please” and “more” when asking for food (she has been there less than one month). Everyday I observe a thoughtful routine to include circle time, art, free play, singing and dancing! The kids are learning and thriving. I can say so much more but if you need a place to give you peace of mind and great care for your child, please enroll them here!

I was fired from Ladybird Academy Apopka today. I started to work here in 2018 in the Butterflies classroom and ended working in the Explorers classroom, which I love and will miss dearly. I could leave a bad review and mention how unprofessional the front desk is ran or how I worked in a front desk position for months without appropriate pay. After a meeting with the owner who told me I could be hired for the position in the future, in so many words, as long as I kept up initiative and followed everything Joanna asked of me; they then decided to hire someone else instead. I feel that to this day if I would have been put into the position I was already working, but officially, that I would have committed more to my job rather than resenting coming into work everyday. Yet still after the new hire I worked my hardest, kept to myself and to my own class even planning ahead for 3 months worth of activities which now I will not be able to carry out with my kids. I chose to not take anything personally. Truth is I love the staff at Ladybird and the real friends I have made. I know any child under their care will be taken care of. They are exceptional at what they do in the classroom with the current staff they have. I do take responsibility for my own faults and the reasoning behind being fired. I called out too much and called in late too often. I understand but do not agree with the extreme choice to dismiss me completely for only being responsible and calling out when I felt sick, especially during Covid. I wish everyone the best, especially the kids in my class that I loved and I may not see again.I edited my post a few months later for the stats because they refused to give me the paper I signed (which I shouldnt have) for my termination letter. I could have a lawsuit on my hands for the dates they includes I was out due to covid.

I love this place so much. I feel now is one of the best times to write about how much I love Ladybird. My LO has been here since she was 4 months old. She was a preemie. I have never been nervous ever leaving her. Now with COVID going on these ladies have gone above and beyond. We are all working under new guidelines to keep our children and the child care providers safe. A million times thank you for everything you do.

I wanted to share my experience, I have sent my children to Ladybird Academy Rock Springs for over a year now. I am thrilled with the new things I am noticing. My children show me the milestones they are reaching on a daily basis. I know that Ladybird has helped encourage them with the love and support the Teachers show. Management is caring and understanding. My overall rating on this school is my personal experience and I am excited to continue their education. Hope this will help anyone.

** BEST FRANCHISE LOCATION** IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A GREAT EDUCATION PROGRAM & YOUR CHILD GETTING ALL THE LOVE & ATTENTION WHILE YOUR WORKING **My child has attended the Rock Springs Location for 3 year and I transferred him to OCOEE location due it’s only 3 minutes from our home for the start of the VPK school year which was our WORST MISTAKE!! I can truly say after my child being at 2 different locations that Joanna Perez, the Director at Rocks Springs is Amazing! She truly CARES and WILL ENSURE her TEACHERS are staying on task with their daily Agenda!! She is caring, loving and will ensure your child is being LOVED, CARED FOR & MEET YOUR CHILD’S DEVELOPMENT LEVEL!! She is very personable and will follow up timely and provide you feedback! When I now look on the cameras in my child’s VPK class I’m rest assured my child is thriving at this location. This Location is like family! Even down to Linda the Cook! She will ensure if you have a picky child, she will attend to them!! Communication is EXCEPTIONAL - The Director and Teachers at this Location will keep you informed!! I REGRET originally transferring my child to the OCOEE Franchise location due to Proximity (3 minutes from home!!) ROCKS SPRINGS IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA 15 MINUTES OUT THE WAY BOTH WAYS - WHEN EDUCATION & THE #1 CHILD CARE PROIVDER IS OF MOST IMPORTANCE!!! 5 STARS HANDS DOWN EVEN THRU COVID-19 NO COMPLAINTS!!!IM GLAD MY CHILD IS BACK AT ROCK SPRINGS IN APOPKA!!!

We made the switch from an at home daycare to Ladybird and the transition process went better than we could have hoped for as parents. All of the teachers and staff have been so friendly and so loving to both of our kids. I love having the cameras to check in on them through out the day and see all the fun activities they are doing. As a mom I couldnt be happier to have found such a great place for my kids to flourish at. Thanks Ladybird!! :)

I had such a wonderful experience with the staff in this location. The professionalism they carry here warms my heart and makes me feel comfortable that my daughter we’ll be safe and sound. I want to thank the director and staff for being emotionally available to my daughter and always attentive to her needs. Also, if you live in the rock springs area feel free to bring your here. It’s a good community to be around and everything like the grocery store, hospital and court house is nearby to your babies ladybird academy. Highly recommended!!

My wife and I are very pleased with the care that we see all throughout Ladybird. We are new to the area and were very particular on the school setting that we wanted to go with. Long story short , if you are wanting a safe nurturing school that you will feel confident in., then Ladybird is your go to choice.

My boys started here a couple of weeks ago and my husband and I are very impressed. Our children are excited to go to school in the mornings and always have so much to say about their day. I love being able to see them on the camera and know that they are happy and well cared for. Switching to this daycare was a great choice for our family!

This has to be the BEST DAYCARE to leave any child at. I can say that I have had an amazing transition with my son going here. He is a child with a disability and I have no problem with Lady Bird since day one. Being that he has all the needs that he does and there being other children there who are without the disability they have been WONDERFUL they have helped me in every way. I would say anyone can leave their kids here with no issue. As a new mom to this area after moving from NY I visited many different places and nothing I saw was upto my standards. This place is clean , safe, the staff is great. I have no complaints. I hope this is a help to anyone looking for a place to take their kids.

My wife and I enrolled our little one at this school shortly after they opened. We realized shortly thereafter it was a mistake and took her out. Staff seemed young and some very unfriendly. It is difficult to drop off your toddler to a woman who clearly does not want to be there. Director was not very friendly either. School is way too expensive for what you get. They wanted me to spend an extra 5.00 a week to watch my child on the camera and they dont even have the cameras outside. There are better schools in the area and at a lower rate. We found a new school in the area that we love and realized that new is not always best. Be cautious when selecting a school for your baby. May be a nice looking school but that is where it ends.

I have a 1 year old now and he has been going to Ladybird since he was around 5 months old. I cant believe all of the negative reviews I am reading. I am amazed by the staff. Everyone is so great. Dropping your kid off at school on the 1st day is hard for anyone, but not with a staff like this. They are all so friendly. ALL of the staff know my sons name and I trust every one of then with my son. They treat him like their own. Terry in the infant room is amazing. I read a complaint that kids were getting sick. Kids get sick. In stages. Google it. There is no way to quarantine 40 kids in a building in individual bubbles, and in the medical field they have the sicknesses numbered in the order kids get them. Its part of growing up. My son is as healthy as they come because of it, and he has his own set of medical issues that the staff have been overwhelming patient with. I would refer anyone and everyone to check them out! I checked out ALL of the daycares within a 30 minute drive. I know you wont find better, but you are welcome to waste your time trying. Keep up the great work Ladybird!

I love it because the daycare has curriculum for the kids, there is stations like an Art room, Play Town, Reading room, Computer Lab, and the Playground is on turf not mulch or sand plus their classroom. Looks like a good system. Nice staff. Clean. Overall a nice place.

STAY AWAY!!! My daughter started here about a month ago. She was in an in-home day care prior, so this is her first time being in a more school setting. She had been having a difficult time adjusting, and as a parent I found it even harder for her to adjust since there has been a constant change of teachers. There are cameras there, and I am able to see that she has had difficulties with one kid in particular. I struggle to get actual feedback from them. They dont seem to have wanted to pay for additional teachers so there is no consistency. Mostly Im upset disappointed that this school didnt try working with my daughter more when she was having a hard time adjusting, and i feel as though they lacked compassion when speaking to them. If your bringing your toddler here, and its there first time in day care, STAY AWAY! They charge a lot of money, but dont show the kids the extra TLC they may need...

My experience was heartbroken =(, we really tried to make it work since was very convenient location for us, in hopes my son will be thereat as a child and give no just education but also love, I heard teachers yelling to kids just for being kids they expected them to be robots, just brushing them off, My particular case with teacher used to tell my boy that only girls going to bathroom to poop that boys need to hold till they get home, my child start having anxiety mind u that my kid stayed all day almost in school, until now I am still dealing with his discomfort in that subject thinking is a bad thing. When complain I was not told u know this will never happen again they were more like doubting me for bring this up horrible, Would not recommend to any parent who believe kids need not only education but the human part also. Now he is being for 10 months in another facility at WS KCUSA completely different day and night I feel like they threat him as a whole not just one more child that pays tuition, they are genuinely loving to my child. Also this institution do not pay good to teacher that is the reason they re not motivated, the teachers quit very often. my kid went through 4 teachers in less than a year.

I really enjoy this place. I have 4 kids and have been to several day cares, this one is the best yet, for my family. I only gave a 4 star review because I feel like with the younger kids the sick children arent being sent home as i believe they should be (some parents are rude to bring their children sick) and so my baby has spent his last 3 months sick with one illness to the next. some illnesses scary, like almost in hospital for hydration needs (at 1 yr old). Also there has been a recent change in teacher in the school-agers class and now my children do not want to attend Lady Bird because the teacher is rude, irritable, and unkind. I have voiced my complaint and hope to see a change in there so we can continue to attend this place.

Teachers change too much. In my childs class (2-3 year olds) they were usually always understaffed, so it would be extremely overwhelming to the teacher. Lastly, the biggest issue I had was because there was an older child in her class due to the fact that he was not potty trained, I could see in the video that he was constantly picking on her, and they would go back and forth. I found it strange that I would never hear about the boy picking on her, only vice versa, which made me feel that they had special relations with that childs parents. It was to the point that my child would be sitting on her own, and hed run toward her. The one assistant director was actually wonderful. Very informative and apologetic, but the owner seemed rude, and not much of a people person.

My son spent the first year of his life home with myself, my husband or my parents so daycare transition was EXTREMELY difficult. He was in his first daycare for a year (with most of the time being very sick because he was new to daycare and the first year is almost always rough with so many bodies). That facility did not send kids home if they had a fever. I moved him when he was 2 to another school where he was for just under 3 years. He did better with colds there and they maintained a very strict policy for sick kids however congestion and runny noses still happened (as expected). Dropoffs maintained a struggle throughout the entire time I was there. They moved rooms every 6m so they would have new teachers often. He finally connected to two teachers the last year he was there but dropoffs were still rough most days even though I know he had fun when he was there. He struggled with the naps and the meals because he is high energy and extremely picky.I made the decision to move him when he had transitioned into the Pre-K class. I chose a this school because it is closer to home and they do not have naptime in the Pre-K class. I can say I have not had 1 problem at drop-off since the very first day we got there. He loves the different rooms that he gets to go into each day and he loves his classroom. His teachers are great and hes already made friends. Yes he got sick with the transition because it was new people and new germs in the classroom. They have a strict policy of washing hands immediately when they arrive and do their best at monitoring sickness. Its impossible to tell someone that they cannot take a child to daycare who is coughing or sneezing when they have a doctors note clearing them to go to school. They even allowed my son to keep a box of tissues with him so he could have them on hand if he needed them since he has allergies that cause frequent nose bleeds (yes weve been to a specialist regarding the issue). All in all, I have to say I am extremely thankful that I chose to move my son to LadyBird. Not every school works for every kid and this school fits the needs of my son very well. For the first time in almost 4 years of daycare, he gets excited about going instead of crying, clinging, and fighting me every morning.Reviews can be helpful but please keep in mind that every child is different. What works for my son may not work for your child. You know your child best. Think about what is important to your child and find a school that fits their habits and routines. Talk to the directors if you have any concerns regarding meal plan, nap time, curriculum, sick policies, drop-off / pick-up procedures, corrective behavior procedures, or anything else that may come to mind. The better you understand the facility, the more comfortable you will be with your childs health and safety. The cameras are great for younger kids that start out. I had them on at his previous school and monitored them until I knew how the school worked and trusted that he was doing good. Now that hes communicating all his concerns to me directly, I dont feel a need to have them. Yes they cost extra but the school does not receive the money for it. It goes to the company that provides the service. Its an additional feature which keeps tuition costs down $5 a week because they do not charge any families that choose not to have the cameras on. You can turn them on if you feel you need to monitor your child for a few weeks and turn them off again once you are comfortable. All of the schools I toured and interviewed with charged extra for the cameras if they did indeed have them available.Sorry for the length of this review but I hope it helps you in deciding what is best for your child. :)
