Our daughter has been attending Sunflower since she was 6 months old - she is 2 now.We absolutely LOVE the center and the teachers our daughter has had. As new parents, we always felt safe in leaving our baby to the care of the teachers in the infant room. We knew she was going to be cared for. Our daughter is learning so much in the toddler room now! We know teachers love her, challenge her and take care of her. 100% recommend.

My son first enrolled here when he was 4 months years old. My son is now 16 months. I can tell my son loves it here. I can tell in his smile everyday when I drop him off. The staff is excellent, caring , and keeps u updated on what is going on!!! I am so happy I chose them to watch my child. I know he is in good care here.Sincerely ,Marnise

Our daughter has been at Sunflower for almost 2 years now and she loves it. It is a small school so they know her and us, creating a really quality, welcoming learning environment. She loves her teachers and Ms. Shakila and Mr. Conrad and she is excited to go to school everyday. We know she is challenged in the curriculum (which includes math, STEM, reading, listening comp, music, art, cultural studies, and more) and she is already surpassed several kindergarten benchmarks. Great school that really cares about child development - highly recommend.

Absolutely a wonderful place for my children. We moved to Sunflower from a very “posh” center a city or two away and I can say we had an even better experience here. The curriculum is impressive, the love they give the kids, and the creative fostering of the children’s minds, allows me to leave them each day and do my work. I would absolutely recommend Sunflower; especially Miss Shakila, the director. Her dedication to her school is inspiring.

I have 3 children and had never had to put one in daycare before. Placing my infant in daycare at 5 months made me a nervous wreck! I want to assure anyone looking at this daycare, they are WONDERFUL! The women in the infant room are amazing! It was such a great feeling dropping my son off in the mornings. He would practically jump out my arms for the ladies who care for him. They knew his every cry, whine, and whimper, and they genuinely care for each child individually. The daycare is also VERY strict to follow all state guidelines and policies which is also very reassuring to me. I have now been with Sunflower for over a year and he just recently moved up to the toddler room. I love this place and the caregivers/teachers and so does my son!

RUN From this place. I have had nothing but problems over the last six weeks that I had my two children there. It started with missing our forms, repeatedly having to fill out the same forms over and over because they kept losing them. I brought concerns to the assistant director about my daughter being yelled at, harassed and coming home crying because of the teachers and students, yet my concerns were never address. I was blown off. This place is beyond cheap. Make sure to look them up on the licensing DHS website, they have been cited for everything under the sun including putting infants in danger for not complying with SIDS training. Dont bother going here, it is cheap, dirty and their license should be revoked.
