We’ve had 3 children graduate from AHS, our forth will not be attending. The school’s focus is to merely graduate, not to excel. For students who strive for academic excellence, they are left to chart their own way as the majority of the resources are used to get students through. AP classes are limited to a few choices, with few teachers. My children were told they would need to go to the local community college to get the classes they needed. It’s unfortunate when a local resource subjects its students to trend to the mean, rather than allow those who have the desire to pull the mean up.
I graduated in 06 and I believe my experience was gr8, I would definitely want my kids to go to this school.
Every time i see this i feel like jumoing of a building and surving and then jumping inside a lions cage.
