Arcata is a challenging location to have a Chabad House due to the extreme diversity or lack of Jewish observance in Humboldt County. Rabbi Ellie & Rebbitzen Mushkie are heartfelt leaders in their quest to ignite the beauty & wisdom of Torah values into any individual who shows a spark of interest. Even when it is not possible to have a minyan of ten men on Shabbat, Rabbi Ellie is filled with energy, love and enthusiasm which is so genuine & inspiring. May this beautiful family go from strength to strength, and always have the financial support to continue their invaluable work.
