Our family has only great things to share about St. Peter. Our child transferred to St. Peter mid year and the staff and teachers went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The teachers are all amazing and set the bar high for all students to ensure a successful future for them. I am impressed by every moment and encounter we had at this school. I am grateful to all that make St. Peter so wonderful.

We have been at St Peter Church for over 10 years and have a child in school here as well. Everyone is so welcoming! There are so many opportunities for involvement and different styles of worship services, you’re sure to find your place here! On the school side, the teachers and staff are so nurturing, guiding growth, not just teaching lesson plans. St Peter is a family that we’d love to have you be a part of!

We love coming to the Encounter service. The music is fantastic. Our kids go to school here and we love that classrooms are not overcrowded and the teachers can give each student the attention they need. There is a real connection between the families at St Peter, and the staff is so welcoming. We cant say enough about how much we love St. Peter.

Our kids go to Saint Peter for school and we have had a wonderful experience there. The teachers are all outstanding and we feel so blessed to be able to have such quality education for our kids. Our desire was for our kids to grow in God during their formative years and we believe Saint Peter has been instrumental in this as well. If you’re looking for a great school or church, you won’t be disappointed!

My children went to the school until 6 th grade when we moved away to Montana, we all attended the church every Sunday. They always did a beautiful children’s Christmas play. I visit whenever I’m in Illinois. Just a great school and church!

Sad to say, but unless your part of the clique here, its like kinder garden Or high school all over again. Bossy volunteers run the show and if you dont follow their rules or ways, your advised of same. Both of my kids were confirmed here and Pastor G still didn’t know my name. No outreach here, haven’t been back in years, you just end up getting taken off the mailing list when the envelopes are not being filled. Sorry to be honest, but its the truth

Our son started at St. Peter when he was in preschool. At the time, our district did not offer full-day Kindergarten and we believed that this was important to his development. When it was time to transition to 1st grade, however, the decision to leave St. Peter was complicated by the overwhelmingly positive experience. One moment that crystalized what it meant to be at St. Peter was when we were sitting in the Advent service the Kindergarteners were part of. We knew this was a school that stood for what we believe. At the end of the year we asked our son if he would like to go to the local public school or stay at St. Peter. He said he wanted to stay at St. Peter all through college! Fast forward nine years and now he is in a public high school. We couldn’t be more pleased with his transition from private school to public school. Not only did he place into all honors and AP classes, but he was recently named the Biology student of the quarter. More importantly, he has developed such a strong foundation of faith. My husband and I believe the development of his strong leadership abilities and academic success is the result of God’s grace through the curriculum, school activities, staff, and intentional faith development provided at St. Peter.

St. Peter has been my church home or many years. Its a growing body of believers on a mission (pardon the pun) - the mission of a full life in Christ. There is a strong LCMS tradition, but for the most part you dont have to know what that means. I could say a lot more but the words are hard to find.St. Peter is where:- I got married- my kids went to school- we had the funeral for Sharon- caring people helped me be a better single parent- my faith grew- I began to see Gods tender mercies in my life- I got a second chance at marriage- God changed me
