SOR Arlington Heights is a great place for your child to discover music and people with similar interests. The owners and teachers are all fantastic and well trained! We cant imagine not having SOR Arlington Heights as part of our lives.

We have been with the school of rock for just over a year now and it has been a great experience for my daughter! All of the instructors there make learning music an exceptional experience! She has done the performance group and private lessons and really enjoys both we look to continue for years to come!

My son Ryan really enjoys the group performance aspect of School of Rock. I would definitely recommend it!

My son has been going to this wonderful school To learn drum for more than 4 years. He still feels very excited about every time he goes. Instructors in this school are very professional. They are actual musicians and keen to teach the kids from their practical experience as well as the methodology developed by the school. As the parent, I have evidenced how much the music can turn a kid to better person with appreciation to the world and lives . I am Also very impressed about their theory of learning from live performance. 4 times of live performance with Band rehearsals every week every year provide a lot of fun and joy to the kids and the family. We so enjoyed the live performance and extremely amazed to see how great the kids can play and enjoy.AnnMarie and Jim, the owner s of the school are Wonderful and taking very good of the school. I can tell they treat this not as a business but their passion to life!Great school! Wonderful instructors and worth every penny you paid!

My son has enjoyed all his School of Rock teachers and the many opportunities they provide to expand his musical interests.

We are having great experience with School of Rock in Arlington Heights. There are so many different programs. The teachers are professionals and very nice. My daughter loves her vocal classes, and she is ready to start guitar lessons.

They do an excellent job trying to ensure the student experience is a positive and rich one. My daughter loves her instructor.

My son loves being in the Rock 101 band and his private lesson teacher for the keyboard. School of Rock does a great job of keeping the kids interested in learning music and being in a band keeps him motivated to practice the songs without me nagging! This is our third season with School of Rock and so far its been great.

My two children have been attending School of Rock for a few seasons by now.I highly recommend it for all children who love music in any form and shape.The instructors provide state of the art music instruction accompanied by leadership and confidence training.As a family, we are very thankful for being a part of School of Rock.

Its a really fun experience for young and old! Plus the owner Jim is great! Doesnt matter if you havent played for years. I havent played for around two decades and still have a lot of fun. Having a goal makes practicing more enjoyable and music is meant to be a shared experience. Get out and play!

I cant say enough good things about the Arlington Heights S.O.R.. My kids have learned so much there both in learning how to understand and play music and also how to appreciate various styles. Weve seen our shy kids develop into confident performers in front of large crowds. They absolutely love being a part of the School of Rock family.

My 11 year old son has been in the Arlington Heights School of Rock for almost a year now it is amazing how quickly his drum skills have progressed! He takes lessons and also participates in the shows. The show preparation is well plan with right time amount. The show was very amazing and My son enjoyed so much! This is a great music school where kids learn fast with a lot of fun. All the lessons and performance rehearsals definitely worth what we paid for. Staff and instructors are easy to communicate and be very friendly!

Great teachers, group band lessons are fun and kids start playing popular music from day 1. Best way to learn I have seen. Private lessons tie into group lessons, everything is really well coordinated. Owners Jim and AnnMarie do a great job running the end of season shows which are a blast! Highly recommend School of Rock in Arlington Heights to anyone.

We had my sons birthday party here yesterday, and the kids had a blast! The instructors were great, and found creative ways to engage the kids with each instrument. My son said his party was one of the best days of his life! We will be enrolling him in a class here very soon.

Absolutely love all of the teachers/instructors. The classes are so engaging.

The instructors and front desk, everyone is friendly and accommodating to our needs. Children fall sick so often but the school helps to reschedule make up classes very easily. My kid loves learning with Lucas! He is awesome with kids :)

We have had our son in the Arlington Heights School of Rock for a couple years and it is amazing how quickly his guitar skills have progressed! He takes lessons and also participates in the shows. The show preparation is rigorous but it has really accelerated his skills - it is amazing how the prospect of performing for a live audience compels you to practice! You also dont want to let your bandmates down. In addition to the musical training, the kids are forced to work together for the performances and get along with each other. I think this side benefit has been almost as important as the musical training. Its a great program, I highly recommend it. Jim, the owner, is also a great guy!

Its a unique summer camp experience. It makes those involved feel like they are part of a REAL band. Its a fun, low stress, high energy, rewarding, and motivating experience - love it!

School of Rock Arlington Hights is just awesome! They have great instructors who make the lessons fun while teaching kids their craft. Everyone at SOR Arlington Heights is very professional, helpful and there is a real, fun Family atmosphere. Best decision we made was to sign up our kids there! Rock On!

The staff and teachers are always kind and willing to help. They make sure the material you are learning in class is right for you.

Great instructors that care about the kids and are really knowledgeable about all aspects of music. A very positive environment where kids thrive and every week you see improvement.

I like the different choices that are given for the performance groups. I also like that within the performance groups a private lessons is embedded in the cost. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about music.

We love School of Rock. My son comes out of class every week so excited to tell me what he did in class. The teachers are wonderful!!!

I love the teachers at school of rock, :). i take bass lessons from Kevin Decker, and i am so blessed i get to learn from Him. i am also in the late band program, Noisy Neighbors. its alot of fun to be in a band again :).

I love that they are grouped w/ other kids to form a band & on stage quickly!

My son absolutely loves his instructor and the experience to play in a band. He said its great to find kids who are just like him - love to talk all things guitar and just JAM!

We LOVE SOR!!! Our childrens lives would be totally different without SOR. We adore the staff and the environment that they cultivate. The peer relationships which are encouraged and fostered in the group setting are hands-down a highlight of the band experience. My daughter is a vocalist, but she has been encouraged to work with keys and even wants to explore other instruments now. (YAY!!!) Her teacher, Rachel, is one of the most influential people in her life. She has had a tough few years at school, but she knows that her music and the time she spends with Rachel and the band have saved her. She says that all the time. My son plays the electric guitar and he doesnt respond well to all teachers, but he appreciates his teacher so much and is finally getting it thanks to the patience of Lucas. It took him a while to appreciate practicing, but Lucas and him have such a sweet bond and my son loves what hes learning. The other day (after not wanting to practice) he had a musical breakthrough and after playing for a while said, I love the guitar. I want to do this for the rest of my life. As his mom, I couldnt be prouder. I am so thankful for the relationships and opportunities that SOR has provided for my family. :)
