My family feels so safe and secure leaving my son at TCA. He comes home full of joy and stories of all the fun he has had. We also love that his teacher has 1 on 1 time to teach him the fundamentals and prep for Kindergarten.

I would like state, that my overall experience with Texas Childrens Academy is EXCELLENT. I have two toddlers and their teachers are truly educators. They take there time to develop basic early educational concepts in reading, writing and fine arts. I can truly appreciate the work that they do there because it makes me feel that my children are truly enrolled into a school, instead of being shrouded with the typical taboo of a daycare. Moreover, as a parent I most appreciate the staff and how easy it is to work with, feed back of knowledge of my children, and also the handling of billing and tardiness of my children. I highly recommend anyone to enroll their children into the school, they will be well feed and well guided, the staff there are truly honorable role models and as I parent I can appreciate the love the staff have, for my children.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! From the first day to the last day. Everyone has been so helpful. The only reason I had to take my son out was because my Job transferred me, so it was out of my way. I want to thank all the staff for just being awesome. Mrs Mosley the director was just amazing. Always so helpful. Everyone there is just a big family and thats what I loved. Thats one the biggest reasons I think that my son loved coming. even on Saturdays and Sundays my toddler would cry because we wanted to come to school. Until this day he still remembers his all time favorite teacher. And time we will to eat a restaurant thats near but and he thinks that we are going to school. Thank you guys for always helping and being there for not only my son but for me as well.

First off, I would like to say i have known Mrs.Mosley for a long time. When I relocated from Hawaii, ran into her and found out she was at this facility, I knew this was my choice in facility. She has been in the daycare business for as long as I can remember. She is the most attentive director. She will easily address any issues brought to her attention immediately. Always there to greet walking through the doors. Keeps parents informed of any issues or events happening in the facility. My two kids love coming here. My youngest has issues at drop off and his teacher always comes to help settle him down. The camera makes it easy and convenient to check up on him throughout my work day. My oldest absolutely loves riding on their bus and the fun he has with his daycare friends. They both come home with the biggest smiles at the end of their day. The staff always acknowledge anyone who walks by with a smile. I enjoy knowing my kids are having fun, learning and most importantly safe.

What can I say??? Texas Childrens Academy is the best around!! My 2 1/2 year old daughter has been attending the school since she was 6 months. You trust a daycare with your childs life, learning, and safety. Texas Childrens Academy has not failed us. We are thankful for the teachers, the healthy foods prepared, the learning stations, the playing stations and most importantly the director. She has a vision like none other and my husband and I respect that. My daughter can count to 30, knows her first and last name, knows her parents’ names, knows what state she lives, knows her age, knows reading strategies (before and after sequence), knows her colors, alphabets and everything in between!! We are very proud to call Texas Childrens Academy our daughters school.

I have not had any children enrolled here nor would I ever!! Today, 8/8/18, the male driver of bus 1 on highway 287 almost hit me when he tried to change lanes on 287 north without checking his mirror or blind spot. I almost ate the barrier. Laying on my horn did not seem to phase him. Guess I will report this to the state as well. I honestly could not tell if children were on the bus but I am guessing it was a field trip or something as there were two of their buses. HORRIBLE

We love this place!! Our daughter has been going here since she was 11 months old (Oct. 2014), she has great teachers and LOVES the director Ms. Margaret! Our little one has grown so much here and learned a lot from the staff TCA. I would for sure recommend this place to friends and family, plus they buy from Ben E. Keith Foods.

In all of the years my of using child care centers/daycares this one is by far the worst one. The director Ms. Margret is very incompetent in her role. With every single in counter my family had with her the only response she had was I have never experienced that before. Im not sure if this started from the moment I informed her my children stated the bus driver who was her son was using curse words and saying the N word while driving bus felt uncomfortable by this that she was unable to effectively do her job or what. Im assuming the turn around rate at this facility is high as well because there were several different teachers in this room in the short time my children attended. My 6yr old everyday would beg me not to let her come to daycare because we made a big mistake are her words. However my biggest issue is that the she hires people who I guess do not understand how to do their job effectively. The teacher (use this term loosely) did not do her job. She failed to communicate with me as the parent of the children. She never spoke or addressed me about anything. Per Margret she felt uncomfortable , but if that were the case she should not be a teacher. Which is also a common thing throughout the entire facility. If they do not know you, you will not be greeted.Margaret complained about small issues that she should have been able to handle and nothing was ever her fault or within her job of handling. Our last straw was her treating my child (9) as a criminal over a toy that shouldnt have been brought to the daycare in the first place nor did he steal. I was not notified of any issues at pickup. My husband and I were notified of the issue at the end of business the next day right before pick up.Margaret is also a liar. If you would like to take your children here, beware if your kids are not raised by them they will be mistreated. Also if your children are telling you that any child care center was a mistake, they hate it, feel uncomfortable listen to them!Edit: My family has never had any problems at any other daycares or the elementary school. Seems to me you all are the problem. Saying a child has behavior problems because you cant control them? All of the other child centers had no problems except you. Lets also not forget you all sent a few of your parents to leave comments under my review on Facebook. What business uses their customers to bully others? While we are on that topic lets talk about how you do not accept families that have a different religious beliefs other than your own.

I was highly considering this facility after reading the reviews of other parents. I submitted the contact form provided on their website with 3 questions that I couldn’t find answers for on their site. The next day, I received a generic email with a link to a lot of info, but again, no answers to my questions. I started receiving unsolicited emails about the facility while waiting for someone to call me (like it said in their email). I responded after the third email citing my unappreciation. I got an email back from Dwayne with answers to my questions (kind of). Although in his email, he told me that viewing the cameras were at an added cost ($5 per week), while one of the emails they sent said it was no extra charge. Bad first impression. And if anyone wants to know, they only allow you to provide food for your child if there is a medical reason.

I toured the facility as I have been a stay at home mom for the past 15 months, and am ready to get back into the work force! The cameras available for parent use were a selling point for me along with the price, however when I toured the facility, it completely changed my mind! The toddler room seems dirty, the window sills are at toddler height and they were dirty and the blinds were dusty.. if you have anything that toddlers can get into, at least keep it clean! A couple of the kids in the room we visited were snotty and dirty, and they were feeding snacks from coffee filters.. which is new to me? I also inquired about the food and snacks.. the lovely lady who gave me the tour mentioned cookies twice (morning snack and afternoon snack), now Im not a crazy non GMO, organic loving mom, but cookies for a snack, twice? Not so much.. she also mentioned they drink juice throughout the day, and I rarely give my child juice as he eats his daily dose of fruits and vegetables.. I asked that if my son attend, if I can request strictly water or diluted juice, she said I would have to get a note from his pediatrician as they follow a mandated government nutrition program.. hell to the no! My sons pediatrician has told me little to no juice as it causes tooth decay, which I have seen first hand.. I may just be a picky mom but I was under the impression that daycares work with your parenting choices! I am not going to be forced to give my child something that I wouldnt otherwise.. your prices are decent and your professionalism was great, but cleanliness and nutrition is a top priority for me and your facility didnt really cut it for me.

My daughter is 3 and has been there since she was about 6 months. The teachers and directors are very attentive and cater to your child’s needs and your needs as a parent. Before TCA, we tried three other daycares and they were AWFUL. Mrs. Moseley welcomed my family and I with open arms. At the end of the day I go and pick my child up and she doesn’t want to leave. She has learned so much and continues to learn and grow and has so much fun. It makes my work days so much better knowing that she is in good hands. I absolutely love TCA and would recommend them if you are in the area!

My son started going there when he was 8 months and was there for 6 weeks. First time mommy, so I was worried about leaving him with other people for the first time but the staff made me feel like his was in a good care. Btw don’t let the camera fool you . I learned that having camera to check on him doesn’t mean sh**. It’s just adding stress in you1. My son got his first ear infection there because they were giving him his bottle laying him fat. When I saw it via camera I immediately called them. The director told: «  do you rather see him cry or giving him his bottle like that so they can take care of little one first ».2. Kids put everything on their mouths, those toys are not clean. I told them immediately and she said they had a meeting about it. 😱😱Hmmmmm2 weeks later, on a Friday afternoon when we picked him up. He had rash all over his hand and foot. I didn’t know what it was until Monday morning, one of the staff told me that one kid had a virus « mouth, hand and foot virus » and pass it to him.I had to wait a good month to calm down before writing a review. If that is first time please go around at least in 4 daycare and judge for yourself. Why paying 200+5 for the camera if your kid is receiving minimum care.I am glad I took him off of this place as soon as possible. Btw the director is not there most of the time. So All of her words like I treats this kids as my own, well when you’re around.

I have been taking my 4 1/2 year old son here for over 1 1/2 years now and my 1 1/2 year old daughter since she was 13 weeks. My husband and I love this facility! My son used to kick and scream when we took him to our old day care now he cant wait to see Ms. Julie or Ms. Christy. He comes home everyday learning something new and it blows my mind how smart he is and how much they work with our children. After being in this school for ONE week my son came home writing his own name! By the end of the first month he was able to recite the pledge of allegiance and write his first and last name, and he was not quite 3 at the time.Every time I drop off and pick up every employee knows my childrens names and tells them hello and goodbye, I feel like my kids are part of a big family and get ALOT of love and attention. They also have cameras where you can log in to watch your kids while they are at school! This makes my husband and I feel more relaxed about leaving them knowing we can check in on them at any time. While watching my kids I always see employees cleaning the facility, it may be old but it is always clean and so are the employees. My kids never come home dirty or with stained clothes. They actually put t-shirts over my daughter when she eats so that her clothes stay clean! Brilliant idea!!! If your looking for a place that will love and care for children like you do, this is the place! I feel like they are my extended family especially Ms. Margaret and Ms. Kandi. I promise you wont be disappointed!
