Went there in the 70s. My mother worked in the school cafeteria. Mr. Crowley was the principal with Mr. Schmidt as the assistant principal. Miss Flynn was the P.E. instructor. I only lived 8 houses away from the school and would walk to school every day. Life was so much simpler then. No hate. No violence. No kidnapping. The best times of my life.

Dear Duff Elementary:My husband and I would like to thank the teachers and the staff for our daughter having yet another wonderful year at Duff. I was fortunate enough to attend Duff over 20 years ago with my two sisters and have the utmost respect for this school. My husband and I have done fundraisers in most school districts in Texas. We spent a week in every school in each district going classroom to classroom, and the teachers and office staff at this school are phenomenal. I certainly couldnt say that for a lot of schools that I have been in. We appreciate all that yall do and look forward to another great year!!!

The teacher at Duff that I have encountered are Awesome they seem to really care and want to help the children learn. The principal Mrs. Hatcher is not the nicest nor does she try to help your child. She instead would rather see your child leave the school if he/she isnt acting the way she want them to act. They dont allow children inside the school until 7:50am rain, sleet or snow. Which I find very horrible and inhuman some children are walkers and the staff will sit inside and just look at the children outside, instead of allowing them to sit inside the cafeteria.

This school has GREAT teachers and an AMAZING principal it truly is a great school.

I went there back in the late 60s. It was a great school then and still is.

This is a horrible school for people of different races.They are very racist not the entire school but the assistant principal Ms. Hatchet and Penney James clearly have some hatered in their hearts for people of a different race. Every family I speak to feels the same way about Duff they just havent dpoken up. I have witnessed the favoritism towards Caucasian and its sad because the children have witnessed it. I personally hear them talk about it. To my matters worse they subconsciously teach children their ignorant ways. The only reason they got one star is their principal is sort of fair.
