My only annoyance is that there has not been an after/before-school program for the younger kids. Most of Arlingtons elementary and middle schools have some sort of program in place, but Atherton does not.We loved Chess club last year and the librarian is wonderful!! He is such a helpful man.All the teachers my child has had did a wonderful job. The teachers this year have worked really hard to take care of the class during Covid and virtual schooling.

Went from pre-K to graduating here 2013! Lunch was good, sometimes microwaved though, so check in with your kids. The library was the absolute most enriching (with the best Librarian ever Mr. Cobbey), and there were up-to-date computer labs, clean classrooms, and nice teachers, especially for the younger levels. PE Coach Scroggins: I still remember some of his life lessons till today. He instilled the importance of fitness through example and motivational speech. That was good PE.Overall this school has great staff who care, but from reading the last reviews, I would plead with the higher ups to pay more attention to teacher-student bullying. There are always some bad apples, keep an eye on them for the sake of our future. I vaguely remember a teacher from a long time ago, who yelled and knocked over the troubled kid’s desks. Third grader btw. Teachers obviously have a huge impact on a kid’s character. Through a good speech and/or kind actions, they have the power to MOVE a child’s heart. At the very least, that type of berating and physicality should never be allowed.

This school is amazing. Ive gone here for 6 years, and the people here have opened up many doors for me. They have clubs, musicals, and many more things to do at this school. Its the best one Ive been to.

This school has a teacher employed who bullies the students. Meanwhile they take the teacher side. My assumption is that they are in need of teachers.

I went to school here my entire elementary years, and I really liked it here. The school has a really good environment, and you really get to connect with alm ist everyone there for all the years. The library was always my place to hang out because of the amazing librarian that did so much more, Mr. Cobbey. Parents, enroll your children here if youre okay with mediocre education.

Have gone here for 7 years and would say it is pretty good. We have multiple clubs and all of them are for different thingshonestly just go and see

This was the worst school ever now Im happy I went there for half a year

It was OK. The staff was rude and disregarded the great learning skills these children deserve. They use th money towards the staff instead of towards the students or a new playground.
