This is one of the smaller 99 cent stores but they do have everything compared to larger 99 cents stores that I live near I would prefer to drive out to this 1 because they have a larger variety of items. They have fresh Jamaica they also sell beer and liquor they also have mixers they have all the food the freezer section the produce is generally fresh for the 99 cent store . I would recommend this 99 cent store over most 99 cents stores in my area if you can get to this 99 cent store in the city of Artesia I guarantee it will be worth the drive.

This store has fresh produce, fruits and bread. I love this store, its a one stop shop that has everything that you need with great price. Its a must have. Parking gets full most of the time, but there is nearby plaza that has parking space as well.

Still plenty of options for quick Halloween decor. Get them while they last

I love this location. Its a smaller store, little cramped but clean. I always find great items at bargain price and some food items. I love that they also have lots of body, skin, hair care, same brands as Target or Walgreens, CVS carry but 2-3 times cheaper. I hope owner will find a bigger space for this store.

This location closes at 8:50 not at 9pm so don’t waste ur time going there...

Quick lines and clean store

This is my favorite 99c Store location. I will go out of my way to visit this site. Its the cleanest and best stocked store of all the sites in a ten mile radius. Most of the cashiers are nice, one seems a bit pushy but she was still okay. This is surrounded by the nice areas of Cerritos and the higher end shops along South street by Cerritos mall. Thats why it probably has the cleanest store. Its probably the newest of the stores in the Long Beach area as well. You also dont have solicitors outside like all the other 99c Stores.

The parking lot was BUSY. The store was large but somehow managed to feel cramped. Shelves were pretty well organized but I wasnt able to find everything I needed. Checkout lines were long, but moved fairly quickly.

Not enough cashier

Like this place...sometimes I find things for a dollar that are worth $3 at Walmart which I also like...like Muscle Milk...dont be fooled by the fact that everything is a dollar...just BECAUSE things are cheaper does not make them bad quality...check expiration dates...and if you need a quick fast meal for the family on a budget this is a great start...you donT go to a 99cent store to get a higher class, expensive experience like Albertsons...ive read reviews on this place that are quite idiotic and embarassing for the writer....why would anyone go to a 99cent sore and expect expensive brands all the time and expect waiters, wAitresses and managers on demand...the truth is this place can be busy but is a greAt plAce to get a quick fast ingredient list for a 4 star meal...dont be fooled though ive seen name brands here for the advertised $1 that would be much more expensive elsewhere...my sister was a 99c store human resource manAger and turned me to this business...they buy overflow for dirt cheap prices and pass the savings on to consumers...they even help people pn food stamps and general relief by acepting EBT benefits...what else do you want? Love this place if it wasnt for how busy it can get I would give it a 10!!!!! And thats only because I have no patience. Thats not their fault its ours....I can only rate a 5...lol...take it easy on these people, always helpful and they do their JOB!!!

This is biggest 99cent store & UP I have been too..alot more to check out..of course alot of same items as others but stock is greater & store is neat & Again LoVe that there are ALOT of variety & new branditems i havent seen @the others.

Good selection of items. Close to eateries so good for a quick stop to pick up necessities and not so necessities that catch your eye.

I stopped in here quickly for a soda and ended up finding several other things I needed for an up event, which I was excited about until the manager came to return some items I wanted to exchange for the better items I found at this store!The Manager came to the register hostile, & like she could be bother to do the return. Never saying hello, just barking directives about why I could return items I just purchased at another location! She was very rude and attempted to be condescending, which I had to reminder her that her job is dealing with the public & her conduct/attitude was reprehensible!!!! Even my friend with me, spoke to her in Spanish asking her what was the problem with exchanging items from another 99cents store, to which she replied... She didnt like me and just wanted us to leave as soon as the transaction was completed! We did, which is why Ive rated them so poorly!

Oh this place is so dingy. I came here after going to Daiso as I was trying to find some gift wrap for cheaper than $1.50. Boy, did I regret it. I think I would rather pay the extra 50 cents at Daiso because this place is so dirty! I wish the floors were better cleaned. Everything in this place just looked so mucky.

The poor mans Macys.This 99 cent store opened recently and I frequent it often. How can you not? Salad/spinach/bananas all for 99 cents. Every now and then, there will be diamonds in the rough available, such as General Foods International coffee(which will be renamed Maxwell House International coffee BTW) and dried mango slices. When the products gone, its gone, so stock up. Its a new store, so things are pretty clean. I hate going to ghetto 99 cent stores like the one in Hawaiian Gardens.Interesting note-I passed by during the Grand Opening and the lines went around 2 sides of the store all the way to Pioneer Blvd. There were giveways for the first few customers. The main attraction were crappy, third-party LCD TVs. Anywho, I drove by and noticed the CBS2/KCAL9 newstruck was pulling up next me on South/Gridley. The driver saw I was interested in seeing what local field reporter was in the vehicle, so he rolled down the window and said, Suraya Fadel. She looked up and said Whats up, whats up. I gave a quick nod & a wave and off I went down Gridley.True story.
