My children have attended Lawrence Elementary since my oldest was in Kinder. I will say both of my children have had exquisite teachers. Each one in their own way have met and exceeded my standards. They have provided structure, support and always been there for me as a parent. I couldnt ask for anymore. My littlest requires special needs assistance to which the clinic aide, paras and all staff has went above and beyond to assist me with her progress. Again I couldnt ask for anymore. When I drop my kids off at school I know that they are safe, well cared for and supported in their studies. I would highly recommend our school to anyone.

I am a mother of two beautiful boys, but before Lawrence Elementary school came into the picture I was a mother of two very beautiful little challenges!For five years I questioned Myself daily as a mother, even though now I know it wasn’t me... it took a lot of help from the ENTIRE staff of Lawrence! These men and woman have walked with me through everything I could possibly think of! Their dedication is amazing! They’ve walked hand in hand with me, though all the struggles!I’m a very grateful person and mother! My children are blossoming everyday,more and more! My youngest,I have sat with everyday from the beginning of school.Three days ago he informed me that he was ok and that I could leave now....And if it wasn’t for the pure dedication of there teachers and the love they have in there hearts for our kids, my kids would NOT be where they are today! I truly believe this is one of the best schools I’ve ever seen,this is a 5 STAR school!I love each and everyone of you, thank you for everything you do for my family Lawrence Elementary School!Desiree Stapler

I myself went to Lawrence Elementary school from 2004-2011, and for 2 of those years I had the pleasure of being Mrs. Lisa Peterson’s student. She is hands down my favorite and most memorable teacher I’ve ever had. She gave my Mom advice to fight against the school districts to keep me at Lawrence Elementary. She is hands down the most accepting and patient teacher I have ever met. My life was forever moved in the most positive way by her. She gives EVERY student a warm, individualized, and original experience .I actually had the chance to see her again a few days after my High School Graduation last year, in 2017. She made it her mission to visit any 2017 Graduates if she was able to make contact with them. I adore her and she makes Lawrence such a good school for anyone who crosses paths with her.

My daughter went to Lawrence and Mrs. Lisa Peterson was her teacher for 1st grade. Mrs. Peterson was a fabulous teacher, because of her my daughter excels in reading. She also reminded me of how important it is to make sure my daughter arrives to school on time. Mrs. Peterson my daughter is now in 7th grade and she has straight As.

Im very appalled at the behavior of some people in regards to some of the teachers here at Lawrence. Ive been involved with the PTA as well as several other events that my daughter has taken part in. Ive never had an issue with any of the teachers mistreating my daughter, if anything Ive been pleased with how they have went out of their way to help her where shed been struggling. My daughter has had Mrs. Peterson in the past and she spoke the world of her. To hear someone degrade her the way they have is an outrage, and obviously havent taken the time to get details from both sides, our children at times may fudge the truth to get out of trouble, to not recognize that is ridiculous. Lawrence Elementary has and will continue to be the school I would recommend for any elementary aged child.

I absolutely love Lawrence and staff! I cannot thank Lawrence enough for the positive experience my 5th grader and my family has experienced. Ms. DeBeread is an amazing teacher and has given my daughter and grand son an awesome learning experience. I love the warm welcoming feeling we get when we walk through the front door. I highly recommend this school for an excellent learning experience.

My daughter has attended Lawrence from kindergarten through 5th grade and now my son attends Pre-school there as well. This school has been wonderful. Not only do I feel that my children are receiving an excellent education at this school, but I have also been pleasantly surprised at how caring all the teachers and staff have been. Im proud of Lawrence and grateful my children attend school there.

This school was a great school. Sure it had its problems but as a student from 2009-2017 it wasn’t bad. But there were two teachers that really stuck with me through it all. Those two teachers were the second grade teacher Mrs.Peterson and the fifth grade teacher Mr.Goodwine. These two had helped me through any problems I might have had throughout the years. They are kind but know when to be strict. These teachers never treated us like we were lower than them and always showed us just what we needed to see. I truely don’t know what I would’ve done without these two outstanding teachers backing me up throughout everything. Thank you.

I would not recommend this school, my daughter has attended this school for about 6 years and has dealt with physical abuse from bullies despite complaints to teachers and administrators no consequences were ever given to the children involved. When I asked why I wasnt called parents werent informed, or consequences not given I was told things are not done that way, when my child got fed up and defended herself the tables turned and she was treated very differently. The principal Mr. Benich threatened that me keeping my daughter home due to fear of retaliation was not my right and illegal. They give you a 10 min window to drop off the kids in the morning and do not give students adequate time to eat breakfast at the school or even lunch they give them 15 min. to eat lunch prisoners are given more time than that! They also stopped letting kids wait inside until the bell rings in the morning to give the teachers more time for Planning. As well as no longer allowing parents to wait with their child at the school until the bell rings over the years the school has begun to make parents feel unwelcome to be involved or drop by to see how things are going or how classrooms are being handled. Not Ok! Also the school has begun to cater to the wants and needs of the teachers vrs. the students! Schools should be about the helping the students needs, this school clearly is not.

Lawrence Elementary is a fine school with many dedicated professionals. My daughter enjoyed 3 years at this school from kindergarten through 2nd grade. We were very blessed to have Mrs. Peterson for both 1st and 2nd grades because of a prev 2nd gr teachers retirement. Although we moved out of the area after 1st gr, we elected to commute an additional school year when we learned we could have Mrs. Peterson teach our child another school year. The quality of the education along with the personal excellence this teacher possesses and imparts to her students is truly a gift. My daughter excels in her current school and I often remind her where it all started, in Mrs. Petersons class both years at Lawrence Elementary!

This is the worst school i obviously cannot rate with a zero otherwise i would. not a good schoo. the staff lies and and the kids are treated unfair their a favoritism. the second grade teacher ms. peterson subjected my little girl to emotional and mental abuse i called for meetings and was ignored they dont get ahold of you. this woman made my daugher cry in class held her from having recesses. and they like to hide when they know they are wrong. they refused to move my daughter from the class at my request. dont take your kids here they are bad people except mrs. patrick in 4th grade she treated my oldest daughter with the upmost respect. definately want legal aid on your side if u allow your child to go here if anyone else had a bad experience with this place please contact me with further information. thank you so much. please save your selves and your children the trouble and dont subject your children to their abuse they make me sick.

I love my school

I attended this school as a child and it was the worst memories of my childhood.

This place is horrible our son was mentally abused by the 3rd grade teacher here she should be 🔥 and placed under arrest
