When shopping there I put 2 helmets on layaway because they were last in mine and my husbands sizes. Today we picked up our layaway and paid it off. They did not check out helmets. We got home an hour and half away we found my husbands was not only a smaller size then we bought it was different and cheaper model than we paid for. We watched the sales lady that day put the right helmet in our box with the ticket. When we called them they acted like we were in the wrong for being upset and told us the correct helmet was not there. When questioned why the item was even taken out of the box they said they let someone else try on our helmet after we had already put a down payment on it. Then told us that we could return the helmets but they were not going to do anything to make up for their mistake or our gas or time to go back up there.

Im a first time rider, and I visited Coxs Harley-Davidson of Asheboro to inquire about the various motorcycles, which one might be appropriate for me, financing, riding classes, etc. It was also local to me.As I walked in I was greeted briefly by the salesman on duty, Shawn Snipes. After a short but pleasant greeting I was left to browse the showroom. After a short time he asked if I had any questions. I asked him all the questions and concerns I had and he was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I didnt purchase a motorcycle at the time, but I will return to make one in the near future.The dealership itself was a very modern building, well kept, very clean and well stocked with a large variety of motorcycles and accessories. They also had a good supply of pre-owned motorcycles, which all appeared to be well maintained.I would definitely recommend this dealer, if not for the large selection of equipment, but for the very informative salesman. The location is also very easy to find, approximately a half mile off of Highway 74 via exit 68.

Today was the first time I have been through Asheboro since the bypass was completed, so needless to say after a wrong turn or two, I toured some country side I have never seen before. But I was able to find Cox Harley Davidson of Asheboro and felt compelled to write this review. I never get near a Harley Davidson shop and not stop in to check them out. Well, today was my first time in this establishment and must say it was one of the nicest and friendliest HD shops I have ever visited. It was not a busy day by no means but I had two different ladies approach me and ask if there was any thing they could help or show me and even offered me coffee. I see lounges/rest areas in a lot of the shops I have visited, but I have never had an associate offer me the customer service these two ladies provided. So I would just like to thank them and give them the recognition they deserve. I just wish this was my home shop and had this kind of service...I would probably would visit them more often!

I took my motorcycle in for an inspection. I got there five minutes before they opened and there was no wait. Brett got me checked in with ease. Their service department is top notch and the staff is helpful and friendly.This location had a motorcycle riders class going on while we were there. My son took the class in recent years and said it was a lot of fun.Their showroom was open and they had several new and used motorcycles on display. They also have the latest trendy Harley-Davidson attire for sale. Their sales team is always friendly and helpful.

Took my bike in for repairs. They diagnose after putting on breaks tires switch. Then tell me needs a another motor. Go to tell me my cost for tires breaks and switch is 1200.00. But tells me bike would scrap for 750.00. They refused to put bike back together. I have 1999 H-D Sportster 1200 paid 8000.00 cash 4000.00 chrome windshield sissy bar etc. They refuse to admit they did wrong. You diagnosis problem before putting 2200.00 in parts and labor. I want my bike back exactly the way they picked it up.

I probably had the one of the best customer service experiences in a long time. Adam the parts manager is awesome!! Went out of his way to take care of me as if I were a VIP. Even carried a box out to my truck for me!

First time visitor today. Easy to find dealership although I would put up signs on I73/74 just to make sure through traffic is channeled.Nice, large parking lot. Inviting looking building and overall a picturesque showing.Inside everything was very well organized and easy to oversee which department is where.The business is not Bruce Rossmeyer in Daytona but I think that is not the idea in the first place.Very friendly staff, everybody said hello and hi and the atmosphere inside was really welcoming.The merchandise was clearly separated between the genders. Not too much off it but that is a Covid fate every Harley Dealer shares these days independent of its size.What I really liked was the quality of the dealer shirts. Lots of colors and motives to chose from and thick print on the shirts. That is how its done!!! On top of that 3 for the price of two, yeah man, I like. Will come back. Very pleasant experience buying my first Harley Davidson motorcycle. They treated me and my wife with respect and all our questions were answered without making us feel stupid. Very friendly environment and they make you feel like family. Was given all my purchase options and given plenty of time to discuss. Did not feel pressured. Very happy with the bike I did end up getting, a 2020 Soft tail Standard which was recommended to me by the salesperson Big D (great guy, very pleasant to deal with) I cant stop riding it, its the best purchase Ive ever made. Will definitely be returning and will recommend others.

Waste of time and money. Beginner rider class is NOT for beginners. I felt like that when experienced riders were done with the exercise, we were done, no additional instruction or practice allowed for less experienced riders. Need to split course into new and experienced.

Pleasure was the girl that help me . Very nice . Go there everytime Im in town . Last time got great deals also. Love this place. The one close to me closed on Dec 19. Sad cause it was close to Atlantic beach. They said New Bern store couldnt make it cause of Covid. You guys have a large selection of clothes jewelry and the purses are very nice. Got alot of different things. Loved the marked down rack. I scored.

My boyfriend bought his Harley from Cox’s last year and had a wonderful experience. He also took the riding academy where he also had a great experience. I have always rode with him but lately wanted a Harley of my own. I walked in to Cox’s with my son and was immediately greeted by Shawn. He asked if I needed any help and what brought me to Cox’s. I told him I was looking for a Harley and had found one I liked on their website. He took me outside to the large open garage where many more preowned bikes where. I told him my budget and he went right to work seeing if he could get me a lower rate than the asking price. He came back a few minutes later with a great deal. I must admit being a female trying to purchase a Harley had me a little skeptical but I never felt pressured into making a purchase and was taken seriously as a buyer. Shawn placed a Sold sign on the bike so my boyfriend could come look it over a few days later. We arrived two days later and completed the process quickly with no issues. Jamie the general sales manager had already gave me an awesome deal on the Harley but also threw in an extra bonus to help me take the riding academy.I have visited several Harley-Davidson locations and Cox’s in Asheboro NC has felt the most welcoming and family oriented.

I bought my Street Glide from there in 2019. Last week I was riding my Street Glide and my cousin was on his Electra Glide. His clutch cable broke and he was stranded on the side of the road. We called Big John in Service and he sent the service truck out to pick him up. They fixed it for him. They have good and fast service.

+/- Cox’s has been the go-to dealership for my fiancé many years now. He has bought several bikes, tons of merchandise and had all of his services done there. I took the riding course in September 2018, and I have to say that Becca and Bill were amazing instructors! Keli in motor clothes is awesome and super sweet. Shawn in sales is good, always checking to see if I need a bike when I come in. He even called me a few times (no pressure) letting me know that one particular bike I was interested in was still there, or had dropped in price. They have some pretty cool events too. There have definitely been good moments at Cox’s. On the other hand, we have definitely noticed over the last 1-2 years or so, that things have seemed to change around there. There have also been a couple of things that we have called and asked about, that do not seem to have a decent resolution. Part of it may not be a direct dealership issue, but it is definitely a Harley issue. His bike isn’t very old and some of the issues shouldn’t be happening. They say warranty won’t cover it, and don’t really offer a sensible solution. It is very frustrating to pay that kind of money for something and have all kinds of little quirks happen that never seem to be covered. (Yes, I know what “HD” stands for, but I also know these things shouldn’t be happening to a newer bike with no apparent explanation.) The quality of Harley needs to improve, or they need to provide better warranties. I also feel that the service department should find better solutions for customers before they get frustrated and it hurts the company as a whole, and the individual dealership. The quality concern isn’t just about the bikes, but merchandise as well. I just wish the people who build relationships with their customers would listen a little bit better to actually hear their customers when there is a problem.

So I come in to talk to someone about a 2016 full dresser. The guy I spoke with on the phone earlier was not there. I was meet at the door with a smile and handshake. The sale guy took the time to explain all the options and pros and cons between a new and used bike. They were not pushy or did he made me feel I was wasting their time. I have felt that at other local dealers. Their parts and service staff answered all my option question and I asked a lot of the same questions trying to figure out what I wanted. I got all the prices and details with a smile, and a good luck with my decision. No pressure. That is what a dealership is suppose to be like for me. I will be back to have my bike serviced and upgraded.Thanks for a great experience.

First and foremost, Ive never been a harley guy. Me and my girlfriend went to Coxs looking for her a bike. From the moment we walked in Shawn treated us like family. My girlfriend was quickly shown several bikes in her price range and there was absolutely no sales pressure to buy. The next day we went back and she worked with the sales manager Jamie to finish up the deal. After a quick trip to the Indian dealership where I was treated very poorly I made my way back to Coxs where Shawn and Jamie one again treated me like family. I am proud to say today that I am a Harley guy, all thanks to Shawn and Jamie at Coxs in Asheboro.

I have been going to Cox for 3 years now. I took the safety course offered there since it had been over 10 years since I rode regular. The instructor Mike was absolutely awesome he did a great job we had 2 students that had never ridden before to watch them progress exciting.Mark and John are very good at handling the service needs when I bring it in for preventive maintenance or if I need a repair. They always get it back when promised without any problems and I can tell a difference in the bikes performance. Ill buy my next bike there too.

If you like being lied to, then this is the dealership for you! After the third time I caught one of them in an outright lie, I started taking my business to another Harley dealership.

1st let me state that i can buy my own clothes, so that i can give you a rating that you certainly deserve. I purchased a 2015 Harley street Glide special in Mar. of 2015.I also thought that the customer service was exceptional until I went back to do the rider to rider program, bringing my own customer.The sales Manager as well as the Finance manager told me and the customer to be, that a deal could be done causing both parties to leave work to try and finalize the deal only to find out that while in route there The per-say Sales manager was trying to sell my customer a bike and kill my rider to rider deal! they also told the customer to be that if he brought 1,000. 00 that could serve as his down payment. only to find that once we arrived they wanted 3,500.00 to complete the rider to rider program.After we felt as if we were being used because they were not making a huge profit we left and they called my friend to tell him if he could come back the could put him in a bike for 1,700.00 down.Wow all i have to say is what great and Honest Customer serviceCox Harley Davidson of Asheboro offers!
