Amazing school. I thought it was challenging, but a lot of fun. They teach you to make over 100 cocktails with confidence and then hook you up with job opportunities right after. My advice is to practice and study hard for the speed test and written exam because employers will ask you what you got on each when you go in for an interview. Silvia, Jerry, and Joe have taught me so much and genuinely care about my success. If youre looking for a great bartending school, look no further! You wont regret signing up!

This school is amazing! Sylvia is the placement director and she is THE BEST. After graduating on a Friday she set up an interview for the following Monday and I started working as a bartender on Tuesday. Jerry was my instructor and he is funny, helpful, and has the answers to every question a beginner (me) could possibly have. The class moved quickly but it was always information that is needed to succeed as a bartender. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Definitely worth every penny!!

Before this class I knew nothing about bartending. It taught me so many useful skills that I use to this day bartending now. Also Silvia was an amazing placement director and helped me find a job within a week after the course. The money spent on this class you can make back in a couple of shifts. I would definitely recommend it!

The lady that talked to us in the front office was really nice and had lots of information. She answered any questions we had and took time with us. We seat in and watched about 15 min of class the guy was upbeat and made you feel comfortable.

I am a graduate from this school and it was an amazing and helpful experience especially since i started from 0 experience. They cover a lot of material in a short amount of time which i surprisingly grasped. They break the criteria down so anyone can learn and remember. I found a bartending job a week after graduating with Ms. Silvia’s help. Graduated this class in October 2019! Absolutely loved the class. All of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable and diligent in teaching their students as much information about liquors and spirits as possible. In the class you learn 150+ mixed drinks and work a lot of hand on activities by creating the drinks called out to you during a speed test. The class is upbeat and music is played and everyone is involved. At the end of the course when you graduate you are given and extreme amount of help being placed in a job. I would highly recommend this class.

Great school, all the teachers are very knowledgeable and extremely hands on. Price is very good for what you get and helping with job placement afterwards is extremely helpful.

This was absolutely a great experience. I was very nervous my first day because there is so much to learn coming from a guy who has never touched alcohol I was scared I could never be a bartender. This school gave me the skills and confidence to become what I always wanted to do and to this day I have not made a drink which a customer was unsatisfied or told me it wasnt absolutely great. If your looking at this review believe me its worth it take the class preferably the two week class. If I can do it you can.

I had the best experience with PBSA! All of my instructors were extremely knowledgeable and helpful and encouraging throughout the course. I never felt like I couldn’t contact anyone if I had any additional questions or needed assistance, huge shoutout to Silvia! Because of PBSA, I’m now managing a bar and it’s because of the resources they had that got me in the door. 10/10 recommend this school for your Bartending license.

I highly recommend that you take this class if youre interested in bartending. I took the two week course and it only took me about a week to secure a night club job bartending. The money you pay to take this course is completely worth it and youll make it back within 2 weeks at max but probably less time than that

Atlanta Bartending School is hands down one of the best investments that Ive ever made. The school is very professional, with flexible hours that work great for any schedule. I chose the 2 week course, Monday- Friday in the evenings because I had a 9-5 job. My instructor was Jerry, very knowledgeable and made the classes fun! I appreciate how hands on the classes were and the learning methods they chose to ensure that you retain the information. The best part is that they help with job placement!!! The placement director, Silvia, helped me land a job at lounge and its been pretty sweet so far. Bottom line, they are very transparent about what you can expect from the school and what they offer. They give it to you upfront, straight no chaser. Youll learn everything you need to learn to be successful.

This place is amazing!!!!!! From the first day of class your amazed by the true to life bar size, with almost every alcohol known to man. My instructor was Jerry. He was very knowledgeable of every drink in the workbook. His method of teaching sticks and his stories were always entertaining. He is very serious about his craft, and is damn good at it. I found it easy to remember most drinks because of his code words and phrases. After testing and passing, I spoke to Asia in placement. She interviewed me ,and I expressed to her exactly were I wanted to work. And in no time at all, I received four interviews, and my first private event. Im truly impressed by the professionalism of my instructors. Plus, I built some important friendships during my short time here. I did this with a full-time job. If your on the fence about it, its worth it!

Attending PBS was the best thing I could have done! The staff are wonderful and they treat you like family! The classroom and the instructor together (no matter who class you take), makes Bartending fun and easy to learn! Wanted to take a moment to thank the staff for their help last week. I found everyone to be friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Steven and Jerry were both huge assets to my success. Even though I wasnt the average student, as Ill be an employer and not an employee, you gave me the knowledge to make educated decisions going forward. I completed the week long course and although it was rigorous I am very pleased with the results. The school was smaller than I expected but that didnt hinder my experience in the slightest. My class was perfectly sized and I never felt cramped. My instructors were Jerry, Stephen, and Asia who is also the job placement director. All three were extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and courteous. They wont hold your hand but they work hard if you do.If I had to do it all over again I would definitely take the two week course over the one week course. This is simply because it is a plethora of information to absorb in such a short amount of time. You also get two weeks of practice with their instruction which will make you a solid bartender. One of the many perks of the school is that you can come back to the school during open hours and practice as much as you like for a year!I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to become a professional bartender or learn more about the trade. However, if you are looking for an easy way to get trained as a bartender this is not the place for you. You are not simply mixing drinks as you will be tested on general history and knowledge of several alcoholic beverages. In the long run this is a great way to be a step ahead of the competition. Come ready to work hard with a positive attitude and youll do just fine.

I could not ask for more in a school! I seriously think I learned more here then I did at West Georgia during my undergrad. I learned over 180 different drinks and can professionally make drinks like an Old Fashioned, Moscow mule, liquid Marijuana and more! Thank you so much guys!

My experience with PBSA was phenomenal! I learned a wealth of knowledge about alcohol and serving responsibly. I took the class on Saturdays which gave me borrowed time to study being that I work full-time. Joe, the instructor, give you all the tools you need to retain the information, pass the exit exam and use your talents to be successful after class. Classes were always entertaining and fun. One of the best things I could have ever done was attend this school. Definitely a great investment!

PBSA was a great experience! From the beginning of enrolling with Silvia! They work with the students and are very attentive in the classroom. From the first day of class, I was impressed by the staff ability to communicate, and explain important concepts related to the Bartending profession. I would highly recommend this program for people trying to gain more experience in the industry, and to learn how to do things properly. All the staff were very welcoming, hands on, and professional. Asia the placement director does a great job with trying to find jobs that fit your need. If I had one word to describe my instructor who was Jerry I would say phenomenal. I have been doing private events for the company since I have graduated the program in March and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of it!

The entire process had me very well prepared for my next steps as a certified Bartender. Starting with my tour, completing my hours and taking the exam and practical, to my exit interview and placement process.The instructors not only provided education but provided real life scenarios, personal experiences and tips on how to gain employment. Everything was excellent and thorough. The staff was very nice and friendly and the Job placement coordinator responds in a timely fashion. They work around ANY crazy work schedule. I work 12 hr night shifts 3 days randomly every week and this program was flexible enough to work around that. AMAZING.

This was absolutely the best training I have ever had to prepare me for a job. I had no previous restaurant or retail experience (in other words I had never worked a cash register) before this school. It was fun, engaging and a learn-at-your-own-pace environment. The hands on drink making is great and I like the fact that you get to listen to music while you make drinks. I did the 1-week class and everyone was so encouraging. The placement director is great and they got me a job at a gentlemens club in less than a week!! And Im a male so thats unheard of! I really appreciate the teachers and staff here who all work hard to ensure your success no matter what level you come in at.

I had a great experience learning drinks and getting comfortable with them. All of the people that work there are working to make you better and finding you a great job as a bartender. As soon as I was done and passed I did my job placement and turned in my resume on the same day Asia found me an interview for a great job in midtown on Peachtree as a bartender and I got the job. After not being in a classroom for over 10 years my nerves were shot walking into my first day of class. Within the hour my nerves had calmed down. Steve was an awesome instructor making sure we all understood and retained the information before moving on the next drink or lesson. I went in knowing little to nothing about bartending to being a confident bartender. Asia is amazing! She keeps in touch with you. She helps with you resume and other certifications. When it comes to the profession of bartending there is a lot that you must learn to become certified, but Asia and Steve made it so easy and most importantly fun. They were extremely helpful and have a very effective hands-on approach that allows you to understand your studies and learn at a fast pace. This is one of the best bartending schools ever. They are very knowledgeable, attentive,and passionate . The classes are structured well and the lessons are very direct and informing. One of the best things they offer is job placement. I was able to start my career in the bartending industry immediately after graduation.

This place is amazing! I had the best experience learning here. Theyll show us how to make the drinks and then we get about 2-2.5 hours practicing ourselves. I thought I wouldnt be able to learn 200 drinks in the amount of time given but I scored a 92 on the test and making 22 drinks in 5 minutes! If you study alittle youll go far in this field. Not to mention once youve become certified Asia helps you find a job. Its a win win for you. If youre looking to become a bartender I give this school the big thumbs up!

Also she set me up with 2 private events so I was able to make back my tuition within the first week of graduating. Steve was my instructor for the morning class and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He also made the class fun and taught us different techniques to remember drink recipes. I truly enjoyed this class. Id had no previous bartending experience before starting this class but Jerry the instructor made the class fun and exciting to learn. A lot of material is learned but the class times are used wisely. I was skeptical about paying money for a bartending school but it was well worth it. My friend referred me here and she always has good references. I enjoyed every bit of it and I feel entirely more prepared to bartend now than I did before. Both instructors that I had (Steve and Jerry) were wonderful. Id gotten into making drinks for my friends during my last semester of college and kind of started toying with the idea of going to bartending school then. About 8 months later, decided to actually follow through with it and all my research pointed me here. I took Saturday classes because my work schedule didnt allow me to attend during the week and I never regretted my decision for a minute. The Saturday instructor, Joe, really knows his stuff and is just an awesome guy to talk to. Its easy to make friends with your classmates because everyones so friendly. They have a fantastic job placement program as well, run by another of their instructors, Asia, who really works hard to make sure you can secure your first position as a bartender and even beyond. I absolutely recommend this to anyone even remotely interested in learning how to mix drinks. I personally didnt even get the certification with the goal of becoming a bartender, but just wanted to learn the skill as a hobby and it was still completely worth it.

I’ve recently signed up for the two week course and attended the first class yesterday March 18, 2019. I didn’t realize how overwhelming this course would be while trying to maintain my full time job . After only attending one class (4 hours) the very next day I called and spoke with Sylvia in admissions . I explained to her that the course was not what I expected so I did not want to return . She offered to change my class schedule and I advised her that it wasn’t the schedule it was the workload . I knew I wouldn’t have time to learn all of this info in two weeks. I kindly asked since I’ve only attended 1 class and just submitted my payment yesterday could I have a full refund. She placed me on hold twice for 5 mins then came back on the line with an attitude and said I can only refund you half and you’ll have to wait 30-45 days to receive your refund . This is very unprofessional and not acceptable. I’ve searched for the refund policy on their site it’s not listed anywhere unlike the other bartending schools in the area . Most bartending schools offer a full refund or will keeps the deposit of $100 if you cancel the course within three days. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Agreeing to give me $250 is not acceptable when I paid $500 and decided to cancel the very next day. I should receive the full amount back or at least $400 and my Instructor Jerry was very rude and If we would asked a question he would get very annoyed and look at you like you’re stupid. Awful experience here . Before you consider attending this school remember they will keep your money even if you cancel the next day I’ll keep reaching out to Sylvia to make sure they really give me half of my tuition back .

No follow up or placement assistance whatsoever. Period. I paid for a friend to go here based on their placement program and after school was completed she has been completely ignored. Over a month later she still hasnt found full time work and has received zero help in doing so.

The career placement with Asia Levingston was very helpful, she responded on time with information necessary to find placement. The classrooms and teaching methods were highly effective and overall it was a great experience.

Good scheduling, easy to get to location, great staff and real learning from working professionals.

Thank you.Listen, Im all for positivity but something has to be said for the lackluster experience Ive had with PBSA. Before I begin, Ill state that this was a nice environment and the teaching was more than stellar! One star is for Joe, the other for the older white guy (his name escapes me). That wasnt the issue; I read the reviews prior to attending with the mindset that acquiring a job afterwards wouldnt be as daunting as it turned out to be. Asia, the placement director, though I had read great things, turned out not to be a resource AT ALL! Calls, emails, mostly all unreturned. A few times shed say Get would get back to me, never did, even after I followed up. Now, I did my due diligence and it seemed a lot of the places I applied to, restaurants and such, have an unwritten policy that bartenders are servers first. No luck there. The clubs and bars are hardly EVER hiring. So wherefore the experience of attending the school and learning what I needed to learn was nice, I just didnt get out of it what I truly desired, which was a job/ paid experience. Im still looking, post 5 months of completion.

Its been awhile since I graduated but my 2weeks there was definitely worth it my instructor jerry was dope and hes still dope even after grauating. The placement is great its a two way street so you have to keep in-touch with them so they can help you theyll set you up for success but its on you to get the job great school great price compared to what youll make after you graduate

It was awesome I loved the teacher Jerry very entertaining and fast pace. I loved it helped me so much a great investment I got a bartending job within the first three months!!!!!Aisia is a great job placement she really helps you. I GIVE IT A 5 GO FOR IT!!!!!! just remember experience is everything

I really enjoyed this class. It was very exciting and I learned a lot. I would definitely recommend it as a good foundation if youre interested in bartending.

I had a wonderful experience at Professional Bartending School. It started at the front office with Asia registering me and ended with Steve and Jerry teaching me. Steve and Jerry are awesome instuctors. It has been a month and i can still hear Jerry in my sleep make me a Cuba Libre.# You are well prepares for the bartending world when you leave. The job placement is real as well. I got a job at the airport. This is an excellent school. I recommend it to anyone.

I had a great time at PBSA. I actually took the course twice and both times were great. After my first course in 2015 I was caught up in the corp world and unable to use the lessons I had been taught. So when the opportunity presented itself Asia and the staff helped me get a refresher course that Jerry taught. He is a great teacher and really helped me feel comfortable behind the bar. Just a few days after graduation I landed a great Bartending job and I have PBSA to thank for that. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested. And Asia is a great help to find work and keeping you up to date in upcoming events. Cheers to the entire staff at PBSA!!!

I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone that is interested in bartending! The teachers were very knowledgeable, friendly, hands on, and overall amazing. I had the pleasure of attending class with Steven and Jerry both created a fun productive learning environment and were equally enthused about the art of bartending. Asia the job placement director works diligently to help students in anyway possible. The staff as a whole is very professional, understanding , and genuinely has the best interest of the students. Walking into the school everyday it felt like being among family and I knew that I was guaranteed to learn and laugh. Go with PBSA you will be happy with the end result ;)

As a student here, I gained invaluable hands on knowledge and experience in the craft of bartending. All the instructors took the time with you 1 on 1 if you had any questions, and didnt move on until everyones questions were answered.

My experience at PBSA was amazing! Jerry is a great instructor, he taught us over 100 drinks within a 2 week time period. Once youve graduated and feel like youre on your own to find a job, Asia helps a lot with job placement and private events! I highhhhhly recommend PBSA. Great instructors and amazing people! (:

Asia is a very helpful young lady that assists you with Job Placement after you graduate. If your like me and are unsure of where you want to work because WITH THIS SCHOOL THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS not only do you learn recipies youll see in 5 star ⭐️ hotel bars, 5 star ⭐️ restaurant bars, Local dives, local bars, tourist attractions bars, Private Pool Party Bars 🤑😄 ANY BAR in America because literally this school offers Job Placement if youre moving out of state too😎 Upon graduating, I brought in my Resume and Asia helped me by reviewing and revising it and when I brought in my Final Resume she offered me a position the same day $13/hr plus tips at an Event at Centennial Olympic Park🤑 I was beyond excited and ready to work, I accepted the offer... unfortunately Asia overbooked the event so I couldnt work 😔 I would just drop by from time to time to see if anything was available and she offered me a position $10/hr plus tips at a Hotel by the Airport 🤑😁 I accepted the offer and I LOVED THAT JOB 😍 It was everything I dreamed of tending the small bar, meeting new people, making good money until payday came and I didnt get paid 😩 Then two more weeks went by and I still didnt get paid...The bar was taken over by a new Korean owner and she didnt pay me until a whole month after working there and when she cut the check it was $100 short, true enough the tips were AWESOME but I have a one year old who I have to feed and that was unacceptable and she told me she wouldnt pay me my money so she decided to let me go and hire someone who would be happy with just tip money only and not the $10/hr plus tips 😡Since then Ive been working odd jobs to get by and now that my son will be two soon I realize I need a day job at a bar doing what I love to do so I can stick with it and work while hes in school, with that being said I thing its time for my Refreshers course 😁 I miss Jerry plus I need A DAY JOB ASAP!!!

I had a wonderful experience here and highly recommend it to anyone wanting extensive bartending training. Joe was my Saturday instructor and I learned a lot from him.Contrary to some of the negative reviews, the job placement program is very helpful. I was offered a job within 3 weeks if graduation, even without previous bartending experience! Its all a matter of being persistent and being proactive.

Absolutely Amazing Experience!! For many years I considered becoming a bartender but could never work up the nerve to do it. After attending PBSA I feel comfortable and confident in the skills I learned. The instructors really know their stuff and somehow always seem to make class fun! Anyone who asks how I did it, I tell them PBSA is where you need to go!!! Steven, Jerry and Asia you ROCK!!! Thank you so much for everything.

I cannot recommend this school enough. The instructors are amazing and the placement director is the best. They are extremely flexible as they have multiple options for class times that can easily fit around any schedule. What I love about them is they care about you and are honest. If they feel you arent ready after you finish the course, they will let you know. However they will also keep working with you until you are ready. They dont give up on anyone. I took the class and ended up taking a corporate job right after. Six months later I called back and asked if they could help me find a bartending job. They allowed me to come back in and they reviewed with me to make sure i was ready. A week later I had a bartending gig. Whether you are new to bartending or just wish to hone your skills in your craft, this is the place for you.

This school is awesome! I looked into a couple of other schools in the area, but chose the Professional Bartending School for a couple of reasons- 1) the staff was really great about giving details about the structure of the classes so I knew exactly what I was going to be learning 2) the classroom is set up like a real bar and they have a lot of stations, so you get your own space to practice making drinks 3) the overall vibe is really laid back and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly.I was a little nervous about starting because I had zero bartending experience, but the teachers are really good about giving memory tricks so that you can remember the drinks. Another awesome plus was that I was able to make up any classes that I missed with no problem (I had a crazy schedule while going to the school). By the time I graduated, I felt prepared to bartend at any bar that I wanted to work at. I even knew more drinks than some of my friends that had bartending experience working in a restaurant!The whole classroom experience was really great, but one of the best parts about this school is the job placement. They only set up interviews with the types of places where I wanted to work. They also helped me with my resume and made sure I was prepared for the interviews. Overall this was a great experience, and if there are any doubts the school gives tours so you can meet the staff, see the classroom, and also observe a class. I highly recommend going to this school!
