I did their Valentine’s Day video and the experience was incredible.I have never done anything like it before, but I can truly say I had a blast!!!It was so much fun and the ladies made me feel comfortable, cheered me on and gave me the confidence I needed to get it done. I loved it!!!I will definitely return for classes!!!

Training at this studio has been an amazing experience. The instructors & fellow students are all inspiring! I also recently did a Valentine’s Day shoot with CurvedLane Productions. The video surpassed my expectations, along with having a quick turnaround time! I can’t wait to shoot again & definitely will continue training online & in-person.

We were from out of town and signed up online. Lane wonder and the Manager was exceptionally great to us, considering we booked with a totally different location. She was understanding and generous enough to let us take a class while we were there and then another class for the pole class that opened up! They were so fun to learn, especially if you’ve never taken this kind of class before or any class. I would recommend it for any age (over 18)! The class inspired me to take more classes. I felt so confident and I thank them!

Training with Vertical Joes has been such a positive uplifting experience. I love these ladies ❤️ they are positive and fun. Not to mention they are amazingly talented. I love the different styles that each instructor brings. Its never dull. Always a good time. I have trained both online and in person.

This is an amazing add on to my normal workout routine. Who would’ve thought I’d take pole lessons at 50? But here I am. The staff makes me feel welcome and they train responsibly - making sure you don’t injure yourself and take it at the right pace. They make the classes fun! I LOVE SoCo and her style of teaching but it’s only my first few days. I will make this a permanent part of my healthy living regimen. Can’t believe this is working out...(believe me, once you take the classes you will understand that it IS totally!).

I am a total newbie, and have been doing their online classes For two weeks now. First of all their classes are totally affordable if you get one of their packages, and they offer a huge range of fun fitness/dance classes. I have been so impressed by the instructors, and the culture of friendliness and encouragement! It is like a family. The twerk and pole classes are especially banging! And it is a work out! Vertical Joes is an amazing studio and they deserve an extra shout out for pivoting their entire class schedule to online during the covid-19 stay home order. All Zoom classes have been well organized, easy to follow, and they even have an extra instructor moderating each class to make sure students are safe and have their questions answered. But the best part of VJs is the fun and supportive community of talented pole dancers!

Ive been coming here for about 6 months and the entire staff is great! Theres so much more than pole classes here; they have silks, hoops, dance classes, and a few fitness classes. The pole instructors are enthusiastic and patient when you fall behind.

I love this studio! I had tried another studio before coming here, but this one has something special about it. The teachers are AMAZING and definitely make each class a safe space to feel your sexy to the fullest. Can’t recommend enough. The staff at vertical Joes are experienced as well as extremely knowledgeable in the actual instruction technique. They give individual tips to help improve the performance of each student. Hard to do but they get it done. A warm up ad cool down are always provided as well as plenty of instruction time.The Studio environment is very exciting and we all learn from one another. I love going to VJ’s so much. It’s a very welcoming as well as motivating environment. So far I’ve done pole classes with Fiya Starta as well as Ro’Yale, and I’ve learned a lot. Definitely seeing results even though I’m still very much a newbie. All the instructors and staff are on their A-game, and I truly believe their’s no place quite like Vertical Joe’s. It has a lot of heart!

I went to Vertical Joes for a bday celebration. I decided to sign up for the classes. I have not progressed as I thought I should but the ladies have all let me know that we learn at our own pace. They motivate you to keep going. There is absolutely no negativity allowed here. The classes build self confidence in a way that can not be explained. I reccomend all ladies to take at least one class or plan a pole party and live life like no one is watching!

Fiyah Starter & the staff were awesome! She was able to engage with a diverse group of women and cover a wide variety of styles and techniques. Not only that but by the end of our private class, each woman had a good command of several skills upon which to build. We plan to book her again soon for another class!

Decided to have an outing with a group of single moms and we had a fabulous time with FiyahStarter in the chair class. It was an empowering experience and we got a hell of a workout. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. I HIGHLY recommend a visit.

We are from Texas. We did a ladies trip for my daughters birthday and decided to go to vertical Joes. Royale taught the class and when I say I was impressed and overwhelmed with her abilities as an instructor. Her personality was awesome. We had so much fun and not once did any of the 7 of us feel out of place. Mrs Royale was truly worth our time. I would definitely come back and try it again and I highly recommend anyone who has given it any thoughts go for it. You wont regret it

Took a class with a teacher by the name of Amazing and it was AMAZING!!!!!!! Went back and shes no longer there. The atmosphere isnt the same as the reason for my 3 stars it was just blah and the teacher fire starter seems to not be a people person slight attitude

I came to VJs frustrated and with a few months of pole experience. As a plus size dancer, I was drawn by the fact that they had an instructor who was shaped like me. I took my first class with RoYale and expressed to her that I was struggling with my climb. Well, by the end of that first class... I was climbing. And Ive been climbing ever since. She has been able to coach me and understand my body dynamics.Over this past year, I have taken classes with ALL of the instructors. Each one brings her own style and offers her own unique teaching style. This is one of the things that I LOVE about this studio. If I cant get something with one instructor, I just take a class with a different instructor. Based on my personal goals, I find classes that suit my journey to be stronger, more flexible, and of course, sexy AF on and off the pole.Recently, the studio started an entire pole series with numerous levels to attain that is specifically geared toward plus size dancers. We are thick...AND we put in that work! The classes are just as challenging as the regular tracks but they focus on skills that compliment our bodies. This is a brilliant and much needed concept within the realm of fitness. Yes, I still take classes with women of all shapes and sizes in the drop-in classes... but there is simply something magical and empowering that happens in our Vertically Voluptuous group.This studio is filled with powerful, strong, beautiful, passionate instructors who seek to help me improve and reach my goals. Sure, everyday isnt sugarplums and gumdrops BUT I know I am in a place where people truly care and want to see me succeed. The sisterhood is real and the results are even better!!!!!!

Took my very first pole class in Atlanta and lived it! Royale is a really awesome teacher and I learned a bunch of new things from here. 10/10 would recommend coming to this studio, everyone is great.

All women are embraced and uplifted at VJs regardless of size or previous experience!I recently started the Vertically Voluptuous class series with the Queen of Curves, Royale, as our instructor. Let me just say, she is Amazing!!! She masterfully teaches each class with all levels in mind while encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and embrace our sexy!! The Vertically Voluptuous series was created specifically for us voluptous queens in mind and it is Awesome. However, regardless of your size I highly recommend that you take one of Royales classes.
