Would love to learn. but they cancelled my appointment and gave away all the other appointments this week. I just wanted to get some extra help before my road test.

My daughter was scheduled to start driving school at Nathans driving school. My wife and daughter arrived well in advance of the schedule start time. No one showed up, after several phone calls my wife was able to speak to someone. She was told that the class was canceled due to not enough people scheduled to take the class. WHAT!!! No one called us or email any communication of the class being canceled. I was beyond being heated. If this is how the business is ran, Im thankful my daughter didnt take the class. I could only imagine the driving lessons being given. Youve been warned, stay away.

My daughter took driver’s ed here in February and loved it. She got a perfect score when she took her permit test after the class. The instructor was great and she made some friends in the class. Highly recommend!!

I had a terrible fear of driving. It has been 6 years since Ive driven a car at all. I wanted to gain some confidence so I enrolled with Nathans. My instructor was Brent Neiman. Brent was very patient and a great coach while letting gain confidence and learning how to drive. He made sure that I will be challenged all throughout our session without me feeling intimidated and overwhelmed. I also took the Road Test with Nathans and I finally drove with only a bit of nervousness but now very confident of driving skills! All in all, the services I got from Nathans from enrollment to driving lesson to scheduling to road test were exceptional! Done within 1 month from the time I inquired. Im very excited to finally have my drivers license! Thank you Brent and the staff of Nathans!

Before my son turned 15 I had seen Nathan’s reviews and decided to call I spoke with Amanda, she was so nice and very professional she took the time to explain everything to me. She answered all my questions and helped me understand the process and benefits of sending my child to a driving school, instead of just allowing him to take the online course. The next day I was signing my son up, but had one more questions about what precautions the instructors were taking while giving the driving lessons so I called this time I was connected with Melissa, Michelle, or maybe it was Marisa I do not remember exactly. HORRIBLE experience she was very unprofessional, rude, and it seemed she hated her job, she acted as if I was bothering her. She made me feel like my question was not valid and I was ridiculous for even asking. Complete opposite of my experience the day before. I asked to speak with Amanda but I was told there was no point, that I was speaking to the manager. So you can imagine I decided to take my business elsewhere. However if I had not spoken to Amanda in the beginning I would have never known how important it is for the kids to do this program with an actual school. Nathan’s you need more employees like her and less like the other lady. I recommend if you are not dealing directly with Amanda use another company.

Incredible place to send your children! :) I love this place because they are so incredibly professional. My thirteen year old daughter and my 22 year old son both were in the same class and they both loved it a lot.

We had a great experience with Nathans overall - classroom, driving lessons, and driving test. They were very responsive and accommodating! Bob was a GREAT instructor for our daughter. We will definitely be using them again in two years for our youngest.

In person class was enjoyable.

I recently took my driving lessons from Nathans and I feel really good about driving now. The instructor was very professional and corrected me calmly which allowed me to realize my mistakes without panicking. I have completed 10hrs so far and I already feel more comfortable on the road than I ever thought I would. I definitely recommend Instructor Donelle.

Great everything; very accommodating. These people really seem to care about the drivers safety. Dan is a wonderful instructor with great patience. Lucille is likewise very understanding goes above and beyond. Great to have an alternative to the other main player in the business who overbooks and doesnt have flexibility in scheduling driving lessons.

I highly suggest no student schedules Bob for an appointment. Before we even got onto the road, he picked a fight with one of the teachers who kindly said (let’s not yell in front of the students). At this he got out (yes) GOT OUT of the car and started yelling at the instructor to “fight right now.” The other student and I were clearly embarrassed. I was shocked that this was the behavior of an instructor at a driving school RIGHT before a student takes their test. Knowing some of the other instructors, I believe any other instructor is a better option than him. If you get Bob, good luck.. Nathans Driving school is great depending on who you test with, who will not stress you out.

Nathans has been exceptional. Highly recommend this Driving School to anyone looking for a quality and top notch driving school. You will not be disappointed.

I would like to first and foremost state that this experience happened to me three and a half years ago, so maybe this guy somehow completely changed. Its taken me this long to write this review because my family has been on the fence about returning to Nathans, because every other instructor/employee we met has been incredibly kind and patient. But I see that this certain instructor still works here according to the staff page on the website, so I feel like I should share my story.Bob, for me, was the worst instructor imaginable. He would scream at me over the tiniest mistakes. For example, he once continuously screamed at me for 5-10 minutes WHILE I was driving in rush hour traffic because I didnt return to the common speed as fast as I should have after a red light. He yelled at me for 30 minutes on my first day because I held the wheel wrong once, telling me how stupid I was. He constantly acted like each mistake I made was somehow a personal attack on him. He would say very derogatory things against me, and he would occasionally do things to prove how strong he was in case I tried anything. I NEVER back-talked him. I always followed his instructions to the best of my abilities as a new driver. I never questioned his instructions, methods, etc. I never did anything to provoke such behavior. I always did my best to be a good student so his verbal abuse would stop, but it never did. Bob never cared that him screaming at me only took away from my focus on driving. Bob never cared that his derogatory remarks hurt me. I constantly felt incredibly unsafe in the car with him. After several weeks of lessons, I finally told my parents what was happening. They requested a new instructor for my final lesson, and the new instructor (Dan I believe?), was very nice, patient, and informative. He was everything I wouldve preferred in an instructor. I learned much more in my one lesson with him than I did in a few weeks with Bob. We were going to do more lessons with Nathans, as I still needed to learn how to drive on the highway, but my family felt very uncomfortable giving more money to the company that signs Bobs pay checks. Bob did teach me a neat method on how to parallel park, but everything else with him was absolutely horrible. If you decide to chose Nathans as your driving school, I highly recommend requesting any instructor that isnt Bob, unless youre totally fine being screamed at continuously whilst trying to learn an important life skill, based on my experience anyways.

Nathan’s really helped me with driving lessons and informed me of many new things. Now I feel much more comfortable driving on the road.

This school has been in business longer than ANY in the area, and for good reason- its still the BEST !! The staff & instructors are very pleasant. Well worth doing business with!!Thanks for a great experience!!

Just a few days ago I attended Defensive Driving Course at Nathans Driving School @Chamblee. Right from from signing up for the class to actually attending it, I had a very good experience. Excellent customer service & very professionally conducted class. Our instructor, Bob was awesome. He conducted the class in a very engaging & informative manner. We did not even realize where the 6 hours flew by. I would highly recommend taking Bobs class.

Nathans Driving School is a pioneer in keeping the roads in Georgia safe. They are great are great at what they do because they love teaching and have a genuine concern for the safety of our motorists. If you reside anywhere in the metro Atlanta area, Nathans should be your Atlanta driving school of choice.

Today I completed the Defensive Driving Course at Nathans and it was overall a pleasant experience. Originally I was worried about having to spend 6 hours in a classroom with strangers and a teacher who would just bore on and on about driving safely but our instructor, Bob, made the class much more engaging. This man is probably one of the most well-rounded people I have met in my life. The way he taught encouraged participation, which I am normally not especially fond of at all, but helped me learn and recognize what I still need to work on. He is real with you and a quote from him about airbags deploying and our organs hitting our skeletal structures We are captives of our own biology. will stick with me along with the memory of this man who educated me and provided advice for an upcoming court date. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to take a DDC; the time goes by quickly and the way things are taught makes the final exam extremely easy. Another special thanks to Bob for making my experience with Nathans exponentially better!

I came to Nathans to learn how to drive in the USA. I had never driven here before, and had almost not driven at all before coming here. Paul was friendly and an excellent teacher. I passed the road test with ease thanks to his instruction. Recommend it.

The staff at Nathans are extremely professional and pleasant. I took 10 hours of lessons from the instructor Mr. Tom Madaus and he is the BEST!. He is patient, pleasant and appreciated every single thing I did right during my training sessions. He is not only a good instructor but a great motivator. I have heard from my friends about all the yelling from their instructor at other driving schools and was bit anxious during my first class. But he put me completely at ease and taught from the very basic stuff. I took my road test today and though I know I would definitely pass, I not only just passed but passed with 100!!!. The road test official told me that I really did good. I even have the picture of the report. Thanks Nathans and thank you so much, Tom Madaus!! I really appreciate it.

It was a really great experience. I learned a lot and even though the hours may be long its really worth it. My instructor, Ms. Sabrina, did a terrific job in informing us the dos and dont of the road.
