Amazing school at a convenient location. Sensei Greg, Miguel, and Bernard really help me a lot in relearning judo after a 10 year hiatus. Im starting to remember some of judo now. They train you hard but also respect your boundaries. Great balance between competitive people and recreational people.

I have been involved in Judo since 1995. In 2020, After being away from practice for for a few years I decided to restart my training. Sensei Matt is a fountain of knowledge in the art of Judo. His flawless technique and teaching style lend themselves to a unique and immersive training experience. Sensei Matt has trained at international powerhouses such as South Korea and France, and I feel incredibly fortunate to belong to such a high-calibre Judo dojo.

Excellent gym to train in Judo. Instructors take the training serious, are to the point, and enjoy being there. The space and equipment is well kept and cleaned regularly. They will often continue training even after class is done if anyone wants to or when a group has time.

There isn’t enough I can say about this Dojo.... I came in over 310lbs and couldn’t even sit in kneeling position without being in pain. I had a bakers cyst that stopped me from bending my leg all the way. Sensei Matt, Miguel, and Bernard were so patient and diligent in getting me together.. after 10 months and 30lbs loss I received my yellow belt and my life has changed for the better. From major things like being able to break fall and somersault, to little things like getting out of bed in one motion. Judo will be apart of my life forever and I couldn’t have imagined starting my journey anywhere else

Having been away from judo for 15 years (stiff) and just moved to Atlanta (dont know my buck from head), this dojo made me feel right at home on the very first visit. Sincere and knowledgeable teachers and a down-to-earth crowd livens this spacious and clean facility into a fun competitive family. From novice to expert, AJM is a dojo that makes everyone feel welcomed.

I have been involved in judo for over 60 years. This school is superior and was my final choice when I looked at judo instruction for my grandchildren . Sensei Matt is patient teaching basic judo concepts and the children adorehim. All of the instructors are excellent!

The facility is nice, and especially spacious for a gym/dojo in the Atlanta area. The instructors do a good job of teaching varying levels, and have lots of resources for new players. They have a large number of skilled instructors as well.Overall, Ive had a great experience here and would highly recommend it.

I really enjoy training here. Staff and teachers are really knowledgable and patient. Very clean gym. Its centrally located too. Very open minded folks here make for a comfortable place to learn and grow.

Fantastic for all ages and skill levels. The instructors are patient and very knowledgable. It has a relaxed vibe and I always enjoy the classes /workouts and learn something new. Prices are very reasonable and there is a weight lifting area as well. I recommend AJM to anyone looking for a fun, safe, clean environment to practice Judo and other martial arts under skilled professionals.
