My 8 year old daughter has been learning here for 2 years and its amazing how much she has advanced in her playing. She looks forward to her lessons even if they have been online the last few months. Priyal has done a terrific job switching to online lessons during the pandemic. Parents are kept in the loop on the progress via weekly emails and the lessons arent a chore for the students. Would recommend for anyone looking for fun, quality lessons from a highly qualified pianist who genuinely cares for every student.

Throughout my 11 years of taking piano, I have had several teachers and Ms.Priyal is by far the best teacher Ive ever had! She is amazing to work with and has pushed me to become the best pianist I can be!

Ive been taking piano lessons with Priyal at Svara Music Studio for the past seven months, and have really enjoyed it so far! I came as an adult without any formal training, but with some familiarity with piano and music from being in band as a child. Priyal is very patient with my many MANY questions and ideas, and does a great job guiding me through pieces Im interested in. She also recommends appropriately challenging pieces and tailors lessons to my interests, providing me with a comprehensive musical education. My whole experience has been remote due to COVID, which has worked very well, and Im excited for the day when we can have in person lessons safely!

Lessons at Svara is the best musical gift we have given to our son. He is enjoys his lessons so much. It is very fulfilling experience to see him go by himself on the piano at least 5 to 6 times a day and practice with so much dedication. Ms. Priyal is a very friendly as well as disciplined teacher and she has a great knowledge of music. Her technique of teaching is perfect. She keeps kids motivated.

Ive been learning piano as an adult for the last year at Svara music studio. Id learnt piano as a kid, and was worried I wouldnt be able to pick it up again. The teachers at Svara are absolutely great though, theyve been very encouraging and have tailored a program that fits my experience level and what Im interested in. Ive really enjoyed learning here and recommend to any adult who wants to learn piano!

Priyal is an amazingly talented teacher! She really knows how to navigate her way with kids by being able to teach them combined with a very calm demeanor. She knows how to keep their attention (especially the toddlers).

I started piano as an adult at the age of 30 and I wasnt sure how I would take to it! One year in and I can read music, play easy versions of songs Ive loved without much difficulty and I have a new hobby Im passionate about and want to pursue more of. Priyal has been patient and has been great at explaining the basics of music reading and playing in a very easy manner. She has a great sense of humor too so at the end of a long work day, my weekly lessons are something I always look forward to.

Our kids, 10 and 8 have been learning piano at Svara music studio a little over two years now and they love it. Priyal is an excellent instructor who works very patiently with both of them. She recognizes their individual strengths and weaknesses and encourages them to use it to their advantage. They look forward to their lessons with her and practice regularly. They have even composed their own little pieces of music with her help. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience at Svara music studio and could not have chosen a better piano teacher than Priyal for our kids.

Ms. Priyal started teaching our oldest son 3.5 years ago and today is teaching all three of our boys. She is very dedicated and passionate about her craft, is very professional and punctual, and yet very personable and approachable. She keeps us informed of our boys’ progress and is not passive when it comes to letting us know when one of our boys is behind with their lessons and homework. This is an invaluable trait for a teacher and is very important to us as parents since we cannot always track everything going on with our kids. As a result, our boys are progressing really well beyond our expectations. Ms. Priyal is classically trained and we think that classical music is the best foundation. Our oldest is now playing Bach pieces which we love to hear, and his progress is also influencing our younger boys to keep up and Ms. Priyal is right there to make sure they get there too!

My 6 (almost 7) year old has been taking lessons with Priyal at Svara Music Studio for several months now after moving on from his first studio. We see a world a difference in his ability and in his passion for playing. Now, he wont walk past the piano without playing through all of his songs. He is so proud of himself! Priyal has helped find specific songs and music books that she knows will be right for him. Everything feels personally curated to help build his enthusiasm. She is very kind and gentle, but pushes him just the right amount. I also greatly appreciate how reliable and flexible Priyal is in terms of scheduling lessons, and rescheduling when we are sick or out of town.

My son and I have been taking the little ustaad program at Svara for about 6 months now and we absolutely love it! I cannot over emphasize how much it has helped my toddler develop and actually start loving music. Priyal is a great teacher and very understanding towards the children.
