We have been going to Ztunes for over 2 years now. They are great to work with, and our kids (9-year old with piano and 7-year old with violin) truly love learning there and playing music. Our kids had no previous music experience, and they can both play quite well now! We owe that to both Ztunes and the great instructor, Mr. Michael! Mr. Michael’s approach has been great for our children. Kind and good-hearted, but also patient, fun, funny, and even able to get stubborn and often tired children excited to play regardless of how they are feeling when they enter the lesson. We fully recommend Ztunes and of course Mr. Michael!

Ztunes Music school has functioned as a gift for our family. My daughter has been supported as a person and musician in every aspect of her musical development. Ms. Karen has an exceptional ability to blend high expectations with flexibility and following a learners passion. Ztunes policies are clear and trustworthy. Ms. Carolyn is the best music instructor ever!!! She has instructed our children starting at ages 4 & 6 and they are now 7 & 9 not only have they both excelled as musicians, they truly still enjoy playing which is most important to us. She has a unique gift to balance key skills/instruction needed for them to progress while keeping it light and diverse enough to hold their interest. Ztunes is the most rewarding music program in Atlanta! My daughter has taken lessons from Mr. Cain for 5+ years and he is amazing. He has instructed her in singing, clarinet, piano and now ukulele. His in depth knowledge of music and commitment to the students growth has been so instrumental to her love of music! With Cains encouragement, they are now collaborating to compose music together. Mr Cain teaches my 11 yr old the flute. He’s patient and interesting and my daughter looks forward to her classes despite not looking forward to practicing on her own. She also sounds pretty good!

My daughter has been attending violin classes at ZTunes with Ms. Shannon and we are very pleased with her progress and with the way the school is run. Ms.Karen the owner is excellent, responsive and supportive. If you have a child at one of the local schools they coordinate with the music teachers as well. I highly recommend ZTunes for all ages and for multiple instruments they are the best!

My two sons have been taking guitar and ukulele lessons at Ztunes for several years now and weve had such a great experience. Mr. Daniel has done an amazing job at challenging and inspiring both boys while also encouraging a love for music and performance.

Thank you Ztunes Music for the fabulous All-State Zoom clinics featuring members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra! The clinics were full of helpful information for preparing the All-State etude and some bonus advice as well. Because Ztunes posted videos of the clinics on their YouTube channel (Ztunes Music) students who were unable to attend the Zoom clinic in real time have the opportunity to benefit as well. In fact, many of my students have watched the clinics for all of the grade levels for their instrument. Yes, were Music Nerds!

Mr. Cain is everything you want in a teacher. He is warm and friendly with his students making them comfortable, but also gets the student to focus on continually making progress. We have seen amazing results in our daughters first 1/2 year learning flute with Mr. Cain. We might have to ask him for tips on how to teach and motivate kids; hes clearly got it figured out. We also have to share praise for the whole Ztunes school. What a collection of talented musicians and teachers. We love the concerts and recitals. Their love for music and their students is evident. I would, and do, recommend Ztunes to any parents looking for music lessons.

We have had an excellent experience with ZTunes! Karen, the owner, is always very responsive & pleasant to deal with. Our highly skilled teacher Dr. Paula has been nothing short of brilliant. She began teaching my son saxophone online in March (due to COVID) and he has made such progress despite not being in person. I was so impressed with Dr. Paula’s approach - kind, patient, attention to detail, excellent explanations tailored to age & individual learning style and stunningly accurate assessment of set up issues given the Zoom format! - that we soon signed our oldest son up for clarinet lessons with Dr. Paula too. We are so fortunate to have someone with such a breadth of experience. We hire our instruments through ZTunes, Karen has always arranged repairs & replacements promptly as needed. Truly a great experience!

Ztunes is well organized school. My son has been learning piano with Mr. Taylor for about a year now. Mr Taylor has his best interest to help my child do his best. He always takes his time after lessons to explain what theyve worked on, how he performed, and what to practice at home. He is creative and find fun ways to keep my child interested. Ztunes Music is a school with passionate and talented teachers.

My daughter started taking lessons with Mr. Ben at Ztunes in the fall of 2019, after joining her middle school band. He has been such an amazing support and mentor for her as she learns the saxophone, and shes made incredible progress in just seven months. She says the things she likes most about lessons with Mr. Ben are that hes patient, hes enthusiastic, he encourages her, and he has creative and fun ways to explain how to play her instrument and her music. Going to her lesson with Mr. Ben is a high point of her week. As a parent, I love that he highlights for me at each lesson where shes thriving and where she should focus her efforts. He always has a kind word about her work. We couldnt be happier with Mr. Ben!

Mr. Cain is hands down the BEST teacher for our daughter! He has the patience of a saint, and is always willing to meet her wherever she might be that day, no matter the mood! He is an extremely talented musician, and we absolutely adore him. Ztunes, Mr. Cain, and the rest of the teaching staff are amazing and have already had a huge impact on both of our children in helping to foster a life-long love of music. Highly recommend!

Were in our third year at Ztunes and have had nothing but wonderful experiences! Mr. Cain and Ms. Carolyn are the BEST and have truly instilled a genuine love of piano in my kids (currently ages 6 and 9). They are thoughtful, kind, patient and just all-around great teachers. Ms. Carolyn has been terrific about gently pushing (in a fully supportive way!) my older daughter when things get too hard and celebrating her accomplishments. Mr. Cain is especially wonderful with my easily distracted, not-great-about-practicing younger daughter. He makes lessons fun and shes always excited to see him each week.

She is patient and kind and gives the extra attention needed for my 8 year old. My kids love taking piano lessons at Ztunes with Mr. Taylor Helms. He is the perfect piano teacher for my 7 year-old son and 9 year-old daughter. Hes patient, kind, and fun. He introduces music they are interested in such as The Greatest Showman. We are grateful for Taylor!

Weve had a great experience with Ms. Shannon at Ztunes. My 5yo son has been taking violin lessons there since he was four. Ms. Shannon is so kind and patient with him, and he looks forward to his lessons. Recently, she even found some sheet music for a pop song that he likes to help keep him motivated. Shes treasure!

Mr. Cain teaches our 6 year old daughter piano. Mr. Cain has really gotten her excited about practicing and learning new songs. She will practice on her own without prompting. We are thrilled with how much she is learning. We love Ztunes and Mr. Cain.

Ztunes and Ms. Carolyn are the best! Our 7th grader has been taking piano with Ms. Carolyn @ Ztunes for a year and a half. I am so impressed by how much progress hes made... Im not sure how she does it, maybe its the music selection? Her coaching style? Setting a high bar and performance deadlines? He practices on his own and ENJOYS it. He says she is kind, supportive, and knows her piano!

Ztunes is a great place to grow young musicians. Over the years we have had the pleasure to get to know Ms. Karen, Mr. Taylor and Mr. Michael, but the entire staff operate at a high level of talent, professionalism, and instruction. They are patient with our younger child, keeping her engaged and excited, while providing much desired challenge to our older child through advanced repertoire, various performance and juried opportunities, and support.Ztunes teaches multiple instruments, offers instruction to both kids and adults, offers a consistent school-year schedule but a flexible summer, and constant opportunities for performance. This is what we are looking for.Ms. Karen, the owner, is responsive, organized, and always planning fun out-of-studio activities like group field trips to the symphony. Mr. Taylor is talented, engaged and has gone above and beyond simply teaching my child. I highly recommend him.In times of Covid, Karen and her team have swiftly and thoughtfully transitioned to a distance learning environment, including recitals via Zoom! What an odd time we live in, but ZTunes is legit- This is a great community to be a part of.

ZTunes has been the most amazing place to learn music. We started with the mini maestros class in preschool and have now been doing piano instruction for 2 years. The teachers are ALL wonderful. Mr. Taylor has taught both of my kids and provides the perfect mix of fun and enjoyment of the art balanced with the importance of instruction and dedication. My kids love piano and feel at home in the welcoming ZTunes environment. The owner, Karen, who has become a friend, has created an incredible format for kids to thrive. I cant imagine a better place for a child to fall in love with learning music.

Alben Chingo at Z -Tunes has got my little girl loving piano lessons. Im not sure there is more I could ask or want at this point in her music career. He is very patient, encouraging and keeps the lessons fun.

My son has grown up with Ztunes. We were one of their first students. The experience has enriched our lives in many ways. Not only is he more competent than ever before with piano, but his confidence has grown through participation in the mini and main recitals, which are awesome experiences in themselves. We love his teacher and consider her to be a good friend. The same goes for Karen who is the owner. Because there are opportunities to learn other instruments, there are also many other avenues to explore. And the inclusion of the ASO performances has just been icing on the top. Highly recommend.

If you are hoping that your children will walk out of music lessons on a weekly basis with a smile on their face, then Ztunes is the place for you! My two daughters have not only loved attending piano lessons, but they also have thrived and accelerated at a pace that I couldnt have imagined. We couldnt be more thrilled with our experience at ZTunes. Our son began lessons only semi-curious about playing piano. Only nine months later, hes playing so beautifully and so joyfully. The teachers seem to take the approach of making music enjoyable for kids, not a chore. I can honestly say that my son practices piano without even prompting from me, simply because hes learning to enjoy the process of learning to play. After watching her older brother develop his skills, my preschooler was recently begging to begin taking lessons, too. Shes now two lessons in with a teacher who seems to be a Preschooler Whisperer. Shes having a blast! I cant recommend this place highly enough.

I can’t say enough positive things about Ztunes Music! My son’s teacher, Mr. Taylor, is fantastic-he is the perfect combination of being structured and setting high expectations while also being very encouraging and making lessons fun. The school is incredibly well-run and well - organized. Karen (the owner) responds nearly immediately to all emails, and things like registration, tuition payments, etc. are handled with great efficiency and effectiveness. Best of all, though, the school has a great sense of community, with regular low-key mini recitals and activities like trips to see the symphony. They even have an adult music program-I am now taking lessons while my son does! We are so glad we found Ztunes - I give it my highest recommendation to anyone looking for excellent and enjoyable music education for their children (or themselves)!

My daughter has been a flute student at Ztunes for six years, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Under the instruction of Karen, my daughter has consistently qualified for all-district and all-state music honors. More importantly, she loves the lessons and loves playing. I wish there were more stars to give.
