Master Victor is the real deal. Hes a champion not only in his craft, but his attitude, and his ability and willingness to teach the finest points of his skill are always on display. He grew up and studied under the Gracies in Brazil, and his life is clearly dedicated to the art of Jiu Jitsu.The dojo has a great cross section of talent with all belt levels and Master Victor knows the abilities of all his students and pairs training partners to complement their skills and hone their abilities. The way Master Victor teaches also trains higher belts to also know how to train the lower belts during techniques and sparring sessions and everybody becomes better and more well rounded as a result. All the people that train here are respectful and conscientious, and while we all push each other to be better, it is never at the expense of our training partners health/injury.Ive been training here for nearly 2 years and it is a night and day difference from when I started. While the goal is to avoid violence at all costs, being trained in self defense and the ability to immobilize and not panicking in bad situations would be invaluable should the situation ever arise. A practical way to exercise and use your body and mind - you wont get a workout like it doing anything else. Anybody who is blessed with the opportunity to train here will find themselves grateful.

I take his Womens Self Defense class and its awesome. He is very respectful and a great teacher. Quite a few members of my family go there as well. All ages too its fantastic. For the women who are looking a great self defense class you should check it out. Oh yeah Im 45 and just starting anyone can do it

I have known Victor Huber for some time now and the school atmosphere is very welcoming. He is great with all students: men, women, and especially the children. My cousins attend his school and they love it there. Its like they never want to go home. My mom even takes the ladies classes. If I was looking for a school to attend myself I would choose Victor Huber BJJ for sure!

Only one thing to say, the best place to train BJJ in Atlantic Beach. I just come from France and as i wanted to keep training my bjj here in Atlantic beach, i just found this place on Google maps. I decided to come knocking on the door the day an LA fitness staff member tell me Victor Hubert is the best professor in Atlantic beach. So i sign up in his academy for 2 months and i regret nothing.It is a very familiar atmosphere, everybody is nice and friendly.I was really very well received.Morevover the place is really nice. Simple but effective, you just train with the nature, doors open and Victor is a real good teacher who can adapt bjj to you. Especially in my case because i have some trouble with my left arm.So I am really grateful to him for that. Thanks you again Victor and one last thing to say .I recommend and advise anyone who training BJJ to come and train here!

Victor is personable. He cares deeply about Jiu-jitsu, the art form, the spirituality, and the fitness. On my first day I received one on one instruction several times from Victor and his black belt instructors. I learned fundamentals and gained understanding of how to defend myself. No doubt with practice I’ll improve and be able to apply the fundamentals. Great place to learn.

Awesome jiujitsu technique from an instructor who really cares about his students... Usually more than one black and several brown and purple belts on the mats at a time and everyone is super helpful and friendly when it comes to learning the technique..

I train at a Gracie gym in the Tampa Bay Area and while I was on vacation visiting my brother in Jacksonville I wanted to get a class in. So I googled and found Victor Huber BJJ. I went to one of his day classes and couldn’t have felt more welcomed. Im a blue belt and train more no gi than gi, and I really felt like he made sure to teach me fundamental things at my level of understanding. The other students were also friendly and good training partners. We had some good drills and open rolls and I feel like I got a really good work out. I would definitely go back again to train when I’m in the area. If you live there than this would be an awesome place to train Jiu Jitsu and I would definitely recommend it.
