It’s not about how many trophies or medals you win, how many pirouettes you can do, it’s about the people you call family and the place you call home away from home. That’s Ratio Dance for us.Because of the wonderful staff, the kids have a level of confidence and grace they wouldn’t have otherwise. They have amazing memories they can carry with them always and a voice in the back of their minds telling them to never give up and to always believe in themselves.The instructors have instilled values that will stay with the dancers forever. They’ve pushed them beyond their limits. They’ve taught them humility, to be humble after wins and helped them understand that the only person they should be concerned with beating is yesterday’s version of themselves. Most importantly, they’ve taught them how amazing life can be when you’re truly passionate about something. Having a passion for something gives you the motivation to keep at it and push on, even when things get tough. The staff’s passion shows in their around the clock work.I am grateful for Ratio Dance and am truly amazed by the accomplishments in their first years as a studio. Ratio Dance lives up to its name. There are so many dance studios and students, but only a very small percentage reach the level of Ratio Dance dancers.I am a photographer that photographs hundreds of studios, thousands of students and over a million images produced annually. I am not a judge, but I certainly know an excellent routine and studio when I photograph them. Ratio Dance is one of the best in the country.When it comes to a routine, music selection is critical to enable masterful choreography that will cause a dancer to be pushed beyond their thought of what my limits are. What are the results? A beautiful piece of cohesive art where music meets talent.I am not one to laugh or get excited. The magic I witnessed through the various routines filled my belly with laughter, stand for three ovations, applaud every routine like a mad man and of course write this review, and I do not like to write. Oh yes, brought tears to my eyes from the beautiful art.What makes a good studio? Superb leadership. During the competition, nothing ran late, the dancers demonstrated they wanted to be there while on stage and the awards they won. Yes, regardless of how talented a student is, bad leadership produces so so dancers. The routines I witnessed validate and prove Superb leadership through Superb dances.Routines have several important components:- Dancer- Skills- Choreography- MusicCombine all 4 together and you get a story. The vast majority of studios produce demonstrations of dancer skills but have no story resulting in boring lackluster hopping about while doing tricks. Ratio Dance produces beautiful art perfectly matching the 4 components cohesively.I plead to you, if you have or know of someone that truly deep in their heart want to be and must be a dancer, do the world justice and take them to Ration Dance. Do what it takes, sell lemonade, drive an hour each way or even walk in a foot of snow with the wind blowing in your face. I beg of you to NOT starve the hunger for mastery, take them to Ratio Dance.Thank you for an exquisite morning!

I spent a long time searching for a studio I thought my daughter would thrive at. So far we are a week in and my daughter has come home having learned more in this past week than last year and a half. I am beyond pleased and my daughter is coming out exhausted but truly excited again. It is so fun to see her at home practicing and excited for everything she is learning.The professionalism is spot on, the studio is clean and well thought out. We love the decor and the theme, right down to the logo. And the staff/teachers are all very friendly and helpful.We look forward to a future with Ratio Dance and HIGHLY recommend this studio.

Dance, yes DANCE, has been the best outlet for my shy little girl. As many of you know Ady is extremely shy. She doesn’t talk much to people she’s not around much and sometimes she doesn’t talk at all. Now around her close friends and our immediate family she talks much more. But even through her shyness she has been able to break down some barriers and shine on stage. It’s her happy place. Where her personality breaks through! Where everyone can get a glimpse of her fun, sassy, sweet self! She LOVES it! So if you have a little one at home that is super shy, hesitant to get to know others than maybe dance could be a perfect fit for them too. Come try it out. Ratio Dance offers classes from beginners to advanced and everything in between! The staff is incredibly good with all the kids. It’s really more than just dance!

My daughter loves it at ratio. We are about half way through our second year. They offer alot more stage time for company and academy kids than most studios! (2 annual recitals) the instructors are excellent and professional! We love Ratio Dance!

*updated 11/12/18* We are starting our second year with Ratio Dance and first year for a competitive solo. Harleighs solo choreography is amazing and age appropriate all staff has been amazing with cleaning, helping assist in designing a costume, and helps us getting through our first solo! This studio is amazing, great teachers, always welcoming amazing award winning choreographers, offers in house conventions, and so organized that you know what the entire year is going to look like with competitions, costs and everything in between! Thank you RDLast year was tough on my daughter... we were unsure if she would continue on with competive dance this year. We decided to join Ratio Dance and as a parent I couldn’t be more happy with this decision!! I have seen my daughter grow into a whole new person at this new studio. She enjoys her classes, she never argues about going to class, she has grown in her technique and her passion for dance is back and growing rapidly thanks to the wonderful teachers. She was able to join lyrical for the first time this year and she is in love!! There isn’t a week that goes by that she doesn’t say “I just love dance!” I’m so happy with this studio, their staff and their organization!! THANK YOU RD STAFF!!!

They may only spend so many hours actually teaching the children dance but the work they put in behind the scenes is constant. They put their heart and soul into the studio.2. Credentials. The teachers are well-trained, well-versed, experienced professionals; many with professional dance experience, collegiate education and/or degrees in dance and theater, and the requisite certifications to make sure that the children are getting the best and safest training possible.3. Environment. In addition to the excellent expert dance training, Ratio fosters an environment of family, friendship, and fun. The children often have many extra-cirricular activities with the studio like appearances at local festivals, charity work, parades, in-house parties, etc.4. Opportunities. The teachers at the studio are very well-connected in the dance community and can get your child where they want to be, from performing in a local recital to dancing across the country under the big lights. They know what it takes because theyve done it.5. People. This isnt last because its least important and this list could go on for quite awhile with other glowing reviews but, in a nutshell, the members of the staff are just good people...and they run the business like good business people. You wont have to deal with unnecessary drama or surly personalities here. They are friendly, very well organized, and communicate everything to parents efficiently and well in advance of important dates. This is not standard at many dance studios. Ratio is simply a good business run by good people.If you have any young boy or girl interested in dancing, choosing Ratio is really a no-brainer. The combination of all of the above-mentioned benefits that Ratio offers is unmatched by any other studio in the area. Choose Ratio. You will be glad you did.

RatioDance is my daughter’s 2nd home and she and I love it!!! Atmosphere is welcoming, and staff is very knowledgeable and caring!
