Its a nice looking middle school with big grassy fields for sports on both sides. I took photos of the Public Land Action Use sheet. It seems this location will be under construction for over 5 years.I wonder what they are planning? Im guessing they will completely demolish the school and build an updated building that is modernized, safer, more efficient, and upgraded in size for the growing population.The current campus structures appears to be one story in most or all parts, so I imagine that one thing they will likely do is to add another story or two, to make the best use of the land.I do wonder what will be the fate of the big beautiful grassy fields, and there is a large iconic stump next to the soccer field, and there may be some big trees too, Im not sure... either way it will be interesting to find out what happens.

Where do I start? This school has to be the worst school in Washington state. Please, save your child the torture and trauma from attending this school. I went to this school for the full three years. Ill point out the main issues there is with this school. #1 The school is entirely entitled, disrespectful, evil little kids. I have a hard time understanding where this behavior comes from, but the bullying here is exceedingly high. Its not just your average, people are rude wherever you go, its more like, these kids are heartless bullies who have nothing better to do with themselves than make others lives miserable. After attending this school, my self-confidence I feel will never be restored. The students there were so incredibly cruel, I didnt know what to do anymore. Do you want your child experiencing that? This also leads into issue #2... the staff are just about as bad as the kids there. I went into the counseling office a few times to get some help, and the counselor legitimately said to me, You come in here too often. I think you need to deal with things on your own. This is ridiculous. Staff, especially the school counselors, are supposed to be there to support the students and help them when they need it. But instead the lady told me to deal with it on my own. You dont think Ive tried that already? And they do nothing about it. The staff at OMS have absolutely no consideration towards students safety or well being at this school. One of my teachers in fact made a joke telling a student to KILL THEMSELVES. Are you kidding me? Oh, yeah- the teachers swear all they want too, as well. Kids here, let me remind you, 11-14 year olds, are smoking marijuana, probably doing other kinds of drugs, and there have been pregnancies of a couple students. This is disgusting. This is a terrible place to have your child be if you want them to get a decent education and be happy. Ive received death threats from other kids here, who would crowd around me, trying to intimidate. Because of the traumatizing experiences Ive had at this school, I occasionally get reminded of something that happened and cant help but to burst into tears. PLEASE. Do not enroll your kid here if you care about them.

I went to this school in my 8th grade year! My shop teacher molested myself and many other girls. We went to our teachers and councilors for help and he was removed from the school without any notice to the parents! To this day there has been no restitution and this man is still at large! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be happy to answer ANY QUESTIONS !

This is such a great school some students may be rude but the teachers are the best and want us to learn from the best

Alright so first off. The pizza, tasted like cardboard, the burgers, ew... There was no good food, but if youre a 6th grader reading this just wait til 8th grade, then youll get used to the food. The teachers, eh. There was some good ones, and some bad ones. Not pointing out specific people, but if you get a bad teacher rip. The school itself, isnt all that bad, but its not the greatest. Staff are kinda annoying.. But if you do Drama club, Orchestra, and keep all your work together, itll go by decently fast. Not the best middle school in Auburn, but not the worst. 2/5 stars.

We had so many problems with this school. I am not sure if it is because there are just to many bad kids there for the principal to handle or if he just doesnt care but my son was bullied beyond any normal amount of kids just being kids

My teachers were all nice but yesterday was horrible, the only thing horrible is the food, I don’t know what kind of food it is but it tastes like plastic, and the worst part of all is many students cursing everyday, and nobody cares.

This. school is ok some teachers are rude and some of the lockers wont open when you try to open it they feed us.old pizza sometimes the teachers wont let you go to the bathroom when you really need to go
