The church itself has great people. The school. Not so much. My Son was traumatized after being kicked out, because they couldnt handle his behavior. They expect children to be well behaved, they are children for crying out loud. I went through the effort of going to Terminal Park elementary school, because they wanted my Son to be observed by a councilor and they kept thinking there was something mentally wrong with my Son asking if I had asked the doctor if something was wrong with him. Those exact words by Mrs. Corey and Mrs. Burk. I dont know if it was discrimination due to being on financial aid or if they really didnt know how to handle children. After spending a week of going through all the paperworks and going back and forth with Terminal Park elementary, one day Michele Corey just decides that my Son will no longer be attending school there after I had dropped off my Son. I was literally in tears after all the hard work that my wife and I have done on our part to help my Son just because they couldnt figure out the best ways to discipline children who were still trying to develop themselves.Through my sources, I have learned that another student who used to be in the same class as my Son who was also having behavior issues was able to stay in that school. I guess because she had a sibling who was also attending school there, basically they were making more money so they didnt kick her out, instead they just kept her in the same grade for another year. I guess it was also due to one of their Parents always being able to volunteer for school work. Now that my child has been in a public school, he has done way better. The teachers have had way more patience and genuinely helped him get better with his behavior. Dont get us wrong, because we are definitely strict with our kids especially when they are throwing tantrums. But it is insulting to have Teachers and a Principal think there is something mentally wrong with your child even after youve gone to the doctor because they wanted to find out.So much for teaching children about religion. If I had the funds, resources and time, I probably would have brought this issue to a lawyer.

Went to school here as a student, didn’t enjoy the experience. From a young age I was pushed and taken away my fun to turn in missing assignments and criticized by teachers about it. Front desk staff was very rude to me about missing my mother or my “depressed” behavior when I was going through divorce at a young age. When I complained about being bullied it was pushed to the side and not dealt with. Was criticized for not wearing my vest to the service when I accidentally forgot it. Thankfully I left to public school in fifth grade, I was definitely treated nicely there. This school is a just a rip off of money, taught me nothing but trust issues.

This private school has hard working staff that is kind and teaches students in a positive environment. The students at this school have higher standards and expectations placed on them, and are friendly to others. It is not only just cupcakes and rainbows but also has a pretty strict policy, and a formal dress code. Every first Friday of the month, the students have to bring at least 1 can of food, and rewarded with free dress. Although this school is not to big and not to small it also has a nice Catholic Church, with a very friendly priest. The school has all school masses and assemblies on holidays, a talent show, plays, and contests.;)

I came here for a Thanksgiving basket after being referred here by a community organization. I didnt know that they were only serving Auburn School district. I waited in the freezing cold for an hour to be told by one of the rudest church people Ive ever encountered that I couldnt get help. The lady I spoke with started chastising me for not having a bill in which I told her I didnt know that I needed it. Then she went on to say you always bring your bill when coming to the food bank, Im sorry I dont usually have to go the food bank so Im unfamiliar with the items that you need to bring. I assumed my id would have been enough. She tells me thats not her problem and that I cant be helped. Her lack of compassion was startling. The lady was wearing glasses, had on a fur vest and was at line 6, if she is a parishioner of your church she needs to soften her heart and show a little more compassion to ones that are in need during the holidays. I have 2 kids that were depending on Thanksgiving dinner and the lady very brashly told me to find a church to go tomorrow. I felt terrible and humiliated for needing assistance.

Holy Family Parish is a wonderful community of devoted followers of Christ. Not only is the church a welcoming home to the community, it also supports an amazing school. My sisters children attend Holy Family School and LOVE everything about it. Students and teachers form close relationships, where one on one specialized instruction is evident. Students experience deep rooted tradition of the church, and bold innovative robotics, research, and project based learning. Holy Family is a wonderful place to call home.

Great parish and school! Holy Family Parish is blessed to have an involved community and dedicated parish staff. Holy Family Church has an excellent religious education program. The school has small class sizes which allows for individualized attention. It is clear that the focus is on morals, service, respect and rigorous academics. The parents are very involved and the staff is committed and highly qualified. My children love going to school and participating in parish events. Highly recommended!
