Being a dancer for over 20 years myself, I wanted my daughter to have the best dance experience and training. Sonya is not only a talented dancer she is an amazing teacher and choreographer, as well. She is very professional, patient and kind with all of her students. I highly recommend Espirt to anyone looking for a dance studio.

My family has been involved with this studio from the time it was first established. The journey we have been involved in could not be more positively impactful for my daughters growth and development as a dancer and as a member of a team. The owner and instructor, Sonya Cheatwood, is one of the most caring and talented artists I have ever known and I have been involved in the performing arts for over 20 years. Her choreography in all styles has won awards at various competitions and her creativity with the conceptual aspect of developing the strengths of every student is unparalleled. This studio is a small hometown environment that allows for each child to have a connection with their instructor Miss Sonya allowing for them to not only develop their technique and ability but also to be seen, which is not always the case in the larger more established studios. I recommend this studio to everyone who is looking for high quality dance training. This studio has recreational classes in all styles for ages 2-adult and has a focused competitive dance team that earns top awards at Regional and National dance competitions. It is small, but mighty and is at the beginning of its journey with many years of growth in the future. I cannot say enough how grateful I am to be a part of Esprit Dance Academy.

The best ever ! mrs sonya is the best dance teacher ever and she welcomes everyone into the studio and everyone is nice to everyone its like one big family. when i was there the first time everyone seemed nice and they were all friendly to me.
