Great place to learn how to use Excel. I love it.

HORRIBLE! I was suppose to test at New Horizons today, but they sent me an e-mail a few hours ago stating that all three of my tests that I had scheduled there were cancelled due to their testing center not being set up. THEY COULDVE TOLD ME THIS A COUPLE WEEKS AGO! I went through a few hours of rescheduling my previous tests to a different facility in Centennial, CO; which got 5/5 stars. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID, THEY ONLY LET YOU KNOW THAT THEY CANNOT LET YOU TEST 6 HOURS BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY TEST AND YOU RISK YOUR VOUCHER; WHICH COST ME $390. THIS COMPANY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Do yourself a favor and check out another testing center that has 4 or 5 stars .

Very shady company. Attended their 10th Annual Tech Brunch. The presentation was very sloppy. I won a fully funded grant for a Professional Program and they couldnt even tell me what the program is. They said they would email me details, but never did even after I emailed them and called them to remind them to do so. I called the parent company and they just took my zip code and referred me to the local franchise and then the call was disconnected. Same with the chat feature. Check the complaints on the BBB site.

Ive never had anything but good experiences with New Horizons. Their training is excellent and they provide opportunities to retake or review course material. Their staff is super helpful and always got me what I needed.

Their sales person there: Sara Adkisson, will be very nice to you in the beginning. She even lead me to believe that New Horizons will prepare a person for their certification exams. But when you get into the classes the instructors will tell you that the course is not designed to prepare you for the certification tests. They even claim to be able to get you a job with their employment office. They went through three placement people when I was there then they completely got rid of their placement person. Believe me, it is a complete waste of time to go through them. Their books are not adequate either. I had to spend hundreds of dollars on buying my own books because their books are not good enough to prepare you for the tests. Their senior sales person was very nice to me until I signed up, then the receptionist told me that you do not work with her anymore and that she is just a sales person. As soon I signed up all the friendliness was over. Regarding their testing setup. I took a test there and the computer froze up. They were using ancient CRT screen computers. I was told that New Horizons had been bought out by another company recently and that they were going completely online, but apparently that has not happened yet because they still have a lot of their staff still there in the same positions.

Scam artists exploiting graduates and GI Bill recipients for their worthless classes. They insist on meddling with your paperwork and funding as an excuse to fleece students.

I worked for New Horizons for over a year as a Sales Executive and can honestly say the only people this company treats worse than their employees are their customers!They only want your money. They know you will never come back and they wont offer refunds no matter how inferior the training.

It looks like some of these reviews can be correlated to one very upset user. As far as materials go my Cisco and Ec-Council resources came directly from their respective publishing companies and New Horizons was just the delivery point. I do have a recommendation that the testing center be removed from the front door to a quieter location.
