My daughter has been going to Hummingbird Lane since she was 6 weeks old. I had a great experience so far. The staff is very nice and professional and I feel that my daughter is learning a lot and having fun. She is now three years old and love her teacher Ms. Liz.

I definitely recommend this place. The people there are very nice and they care about the wellbeing of the kids.

My two sons attended Hummingbird Lane Daycare Center. The administration and staff where so loving and easy to communicate with. I am so heartbroken that we will not be able to continue to keep our children in their care (we are moving out of the area). I could recommend this center to any parent looking for the structure of a daycare center but with the loving home feel of an in-home child care provider. We will truly miss Marsha and her entire staff!

My son been coming here sense he was 3 , hes now 7 1/2 . Me and his mom love the staff and the environment they created for our son, they are very professional and care about the children. I highly recommend this daycare.

This place is a joke and so unprofessional. Parents as you leave, you have no idea what goes on. The cameras do not even work. Teachers are always on their phones. The moment you walk out, youre either being talked bad about, or your child is sitting there while their teachers talk bad about them.The conversations around kids are not appropriate at all. The director does not follow DCFS guidelines at all only when they know theyre getting a visit.Teachers are always out of ratio which is not okay, and that puts a childs safety at risk.As a former employee, and a mother ... this place is not safe for your children. Please be careful

Hummingbird Lane Daycare Center is a Godsend. The atmosphere is warm and engaging. The facility is clean and bright. The layout is open and thoughtfully planned. And the staff and director are awesome! The director has advanced degrees in education and early childhood and it absolutely shows in the curriculum. Beyond that though, she is wonderful and loving, as well as the staff and you can really tell they know how important their responsibility is. I highly recommend them!

I have 2 children enrolled at Hummingbird Lane. They come home every day happy, excited and ready to tell me about their day. My 4 year old is reading short books given to her by her teacher. She is doing fun Science experiments and lots of Art each week. My 3 year old has learned how to write his name and is learning about the map of the US. The teachers are friendly and genuinely care about my kids. I am welcomed each morning with so much energy and enthusiasm, I dont know how they do it. The children celebrate every holiday so they learn about other cultures. They have Spanish vocabulary as well as Sign language. They even go on field trips. This Summer they will visit the Shedd Aquarium and other museums in downtown Chicago. I am super excited to see what else they will do.

Brought my daughter here , I was worried about her not adapting but she loves her teachers . They always try to make sure she gets the best care . Very pleased with daycare and the director. I suggest this daycare !
