I was referred to Cosmic Montessori School by a friend whos child started going there since she was a tiny baby and now she is in the 3-6 program. She is so happy there and when she heard i was looking for a school for my child she is encouraged me to visit the school to see for my self. Let me first start by saying that the Director is a super nice lady she gave me a tour of the entire building and educated me about the Montessori philosophy, then she had me observed 3-6 classrooms, i was blown away of how wonderful the children were doing, and how advanced they all were. they were busy working on different activities. I loved the fact of the mixed age group, older children were helping the little ones. The classrooms were so nicely put together, and well organized and tidy, full of beautiful Montessori hands on materials. The teachers are all loving and nurturing and the kids were very comfortable and most of all happy! I walked out of there and immediately asked for enrollment forms, and Im glad i did. We are super happy with the program, administration and teachers everyone is super nice and helpful. My child is so happy and excited to go to school each day and has learned and advanced tremendously. When i go to pick up my child, he doesnt want to leave the facility thats how much my child loves the program and the teachers. I have been recommending Cosmic Montessori to all my friends at work and neighbors and everyone i know. Thank you Cosmic and faculty for everything you do each day for my child i cant pay you enough! We are so thankful we have found you.

Fantastic elementary program. Wonderful set of teachers truly have a vested interest in the children, and work extremely hard to build their independence and confidence. The teachers and students have a tight bond and are a close knit family. The teachers work long hours and are always there for your child. Excellent curriculum, diverse field trips and activities like the holiday play. You can see the children fly higher year after year. Facilities and classroom is clean, well organized and an environment full of learning & growth

Good School. My Kid learnt a lot of good stuff there. I have transferred to to a different place and I realized how much advanced my kid is when compared to other kids in her new school.

My son joined Cosmic Montessori when he was 2 years old. The teachers have been nothing but supportive throughout his educational experience thus far. Academically, he has made so much progress since joining Cosmic, and has soared above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend this school to everyone who has a young child, and who is passionate about the Montessori educational system.

Cosmic Montessori school and I go way back. I was one of the first few people who worked at the school when it opened in 2010.I met Miss Silvia before working at Cosmic Montessori when I took my Montessori training and worked with her for two years at another school.Those were hands down the best two years of my career as a Montessori educator, since I worked closely with miss Silvia.The vision she has and the passion she emits is not easy to find. She has created Cosmic Montessori School based on these two factors along with a ton of hard work and dedication.I worked at cosmic only for a year before I got married in 2011 and moved away. I have seen cosmic grow from just a handful of students to now operating at full capacity.After the birth of my son in 2013, I kept him home for the first two years.When in 2015 I moved back to Aurora because of my husbands work, I knew it was destined to be this way. When my son was born I always knew he was suppose to go to Cosmic Montessori. In 2015, a week before my sons second birthday He started in the Harmony room with miss Myra. Myra is one of the sweetest people I know that work at Cosmic, she took care of my son like her own. She helped make the first year for our family smooth and easy . That first year gave him a solid foundation to build the rest of his personality on.I started working there again and worked there until this past year.I got a chance to work with all the wonderful 3 to 6 teachers who are extremely dedicated and truly passionate about their work. They genuinely care about the growth and progress of each and every child.I am no longer working at Cosmic full time due to a possible career change. My son is currently enrolled in the kindergarten program at Cosmic. He has learned and grown in ways that I couldnt even imagine. I will continue to keep him in Cosmic for as long as I possibly can! I cannot imagine any other school that has same academic level as Cosmic.it Truly is the Best !!

Love this school! My girl has learnt a lot from this school it has made a huge difference to her. The teachers r excellent and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful with any information.Very well made curriculum kids learn in all areas, independence, academics, social skills etcThe best is they have swimming lessons within the school activities and even dancing, that way I dont need to drive around after school for all her activities, I love this school

I am a mother of 3. My two daughters, now 16 and 12, went to Montessori schools around where we live. My son, now 6 years old has been attending Cosmic Montessori since he turned 3. This school year will be his 4th year and he will be entering Cosmic’s elementary program. Cosmic Montessori is by far the best Montessori school in the area. Sylvia and the Cosmic faculty are committed to providing excellent education in the competitive 204 school district while being true to the Montessori philosophy. Sylvia believes in continuous teacher education and is constantly focused on the improvement of the quality of education provided. Cosmic’s strength is the excellent faculty. The teachers are compassionate, friendly and look out for the childrens well being including their educational and emotional development. Faculty spends extra time with kids who need additional help and communicate their concerns and keep parents involved in the child’s journey. The Cosmic community comes together multiple times a year celebrating the diversity of the families enrolled in the school. Sylvia and the faculty are very approachable, transparent in the policies, professional and excellent communicators. I couldn’t have asked for a better school for my son and I wish Cosmic Montessori School existed while my girls were little.

This place constantly keep changing staff. Recent days it gone worse. They care about only money. Every min they count . They lie about too many things on the fly without any concern . No communication to parents. My kid learnt nothing here. Pulled him out of school.Never again to this school

This is my kids story at montessori schoolI was referred to this school by some friends . Looked at reviews and felt great. But unfortunately after one year of my kids journey I’m a contrarian now. This review is specific to my kid and I’m not advising in general of everyone.ProsHe returns home from school without any physical injuryConsI felt several things and i can explain a few .Teachers never communicate until you request for a parent teacher meeting. This is while in harmony class. And the evaluations report done half of them would surprise you, which will be completely wrong. After the first report itself we thought to change school as we felt there is lack of genuineness being reported there. We thought to give benefit of doubt and we continued and that was our biggest mistake ever done in our kids life. Whatever he learnt at home until the point he went to school was even made worse at school. I feel there is no connection between kids and teacher (or atleast for my kid). We thought he was with children younger than his age and we requested school to transfer him to 3-6 section and they postponed it for 6 months and finally did.Here comes the most interesting part. They were moving whole section to 3-6 and not my kid . That too we came to know through friends as they discussed about my kid with other kids parents. That was not at all good from their part. Next when we enquired they are saying that my kid is not potty trained. Well, he does good at home. Even if he had accidents and what is that he was trained since 9 months in harmony section. Management says i don’t understand the program. Alright I’m dumb , but basic things not taught at school?Finally after the discussion he got moved to 3-6 and i have to say this teacher would be the worst one. All of sudden there are flurry of concerns daily written about kid . If you are working and already if your energy is drained and if you read their concerns ,you will have worst experience for rest of the week. They make tall promises to help and when coming to implementation nothing they do. Honestly this teacher profile has a quote this is fake as followsThis is what Miss XXXXXXX says about Montessori:“I love the Montessori environment; it allows the children to learn at their own speed, according to their own capabilities.”Shame on her. All profile is fake . My kid has limited vocabulary and i understand what that poor soul went through . Every day i ask my kid what he has done at school and how his day been since one year. He replies nothing about school. After one year first words from my kids mouth , he didn’t like the teacher and i believe him. I called up school and told he would not be coming from next day .My wife was with my kid on one of the school field trips. There is a small girl who got sack lunch with some stuffed alepenos or chillies . She was making fun of kid with other teachers about the food. This is the culture among the school now. This incident really made me think deep. Guess what my kid was not able to communicate all these days and I’m with him and god knows what jokes were cracked on him and how much they made him suffer. This teacher have no love or empathy towards kids. They write 100 complaints instead of working with child with love or whatever within their knowledge.For parents , if your kid is little slow in speech or lagging behind with anything this is not the school for you.I hope this would be helpful for at-least some parents and my apologies for lengthy review. Actually this is shortest what i can express.

I visited Cosmic Montessori and other Montessori schools when I was in Chicago as I desired to see the effect of Montessori environment on the child growth.

Great staff, immaculate facilities...Great overall feel.
