Before coming to this school, I was shocked with some of the reviews that were rated as 1 because maybe these students probably had a bad experience in the past but I had the best experience when coming to this school because I have achieved more here than any other colleges that I have been to. The last college that I went to was a bad experience for me because over there they didn’t really care about my goals and my hard work didn’t pay off but coming to this school has changed that for me. I know Concorde is expensive but I recommend it because it’s a good school. I got started with the DA program here and graduated and got a job. It has been such a great experience because the admissions, teachers, and staff are awesome here. My admissions is awesome. She has been guiding me to the right directions, the teachers had pushed me to do better, and the student services has helped me find a job after I completed my DA program here. That’s what I have achieved in this school and now my next step is to get into the DH program because that’s my long term goal and I consider Concorde as my home. They care and they are there for you and they fight so hard to help you achieve your goals. My only tip would be to keep in touch with them to make sure if there’s any changes or not because things can change and to not give up on your goals. This school has taught me how to think positive and has a positive reinforcement. So this school has been a blessing to me!

I chose Concorde because I was ready to be a nurse after years of caregiving. I went for a tour and ended up leaving being signed up for the PN program. They are after your money and it is very apparent. Now I wish I would have just stuck it out at Front Range in the RN program. I have 35,000 dollars in debt from here and credits that will not transfer ANYWHERE. I want to be a nurse practitioner at some point in my life and this will set me back since I will have to take most of these courses over. Overall the teachers were great. The pharmacology and OB teacher are amazing and I will be thankful for both of them always. I do feel like I learned a lot from the program and am prepared to be a nurse, but I will also tell you I don’t. I just graduated last month. So that being said COVID affected how we finished school majorly. The simulation lab and PN lab we paid probably the most for in our tuition we barely got to use. We did simulation on the computer and some clinicals on the computer as well. How can we be the best nurses when that’s what we were offered. I understand COVID is an uncontrollable situation but it is not our fault so why did we still have to pay for what we didn’t get full use of. I know for sure the simulation lab itself was probably most of our tuition. The whole time I was at concorde I had problem with financial aid. Being pulled out of class for problems I didn’t know anything about and also getting emails saying I would be withdrawn for non payment all the time when I had a financial aid plan? For people looking into going here, come here only if you have to or only if you don’t want to be an RN or anything where you need the credits to transfer. Also know they are after your money, they will make it apparent that’s all they need from you.One last shout out to the clinical coordinator. You work so hard to make sure we get our clinical hours completed. You were the reason our cohort graduated! You worked endlessly to get us hours during this pandemic. I am so grateful for you and being able to graduate on time. Also the clinical experiences you get to do through Concorde are great. The last round I did with an instructor I learned sooooo much. He is AMAZING I think he is teaching math now and doing clinicals. If anything go for these people I mentioned they are there for the right reason

I went to this school 8 years ago so hopefully things have changed. One of my biggest complaints is the main teacher we had wouldnt allow for questions while reviewing tests. She would always assume you were arguing with her about the answer. We tried to explain to her several times we asked questions because we wanted to know why that answer was more correct than our answer. We even complained to her boss with no result. Wasnt that the time to ask questions?Another complaint was that I received a call one day asking me to come in to speak to this teacher and her boss. I was accused of cheating. They asked for all my study material. Noted I never once received a 100% on any exam and I spent every min at home studying. I also passed the nclex on the first try with 75 questions almost 4 years after graduating. Luckily I have common sense. They had no evidence showing I was cheating and refused to explain why they thought I was. They threatened to have me removed from school without a refund of my tuition. My tuition was paid by the GI bill. I spoke to an attorney who said that was illegal. I threatened to sue given they had nothing; they dropped this quickly. I never once cheated, it wouldnt have benefited me when it came to the nclex but they didnt get that. Not sure to this day where this accusation came from.

I do not recommend this school as there are many things that I was not made aware until starting classes. For example, with respiratory studies you rarely use your books and are charged 500+ for them. You can return them within the first week only. I WOULD. The respiratory staff is amazing though, the only good thing about this college. One of the reoccurring problems I experienced as a student and months after is communicating with the staff. You have to rely on specific people to receive information or forms. I needed my unofficial transcripts and was transferred from person to person, each either being out of the office for long periods of time, simply not answering their phones, or going straight to voicemail. This happens each and every time I call. It is very frustrating. Even when enrolling, the process was stressful. For the RT program the semesters are 2 months each varying between 3 to 5 days a week 8am-3pm, PLUS clinical hours. Its accelerated so they jam everything together. If you have kids or a job you can kiss them good bye until you graduate. Save yourself some time, money and headaches and go to a normal college where you can view and access your information on your own. This college does not do random drug tests and lets anyone who cant count to 5 in, even if they dont understand the material. No competition. So theres that.

The program and curriculum for respiratory are good. The instructors and clinical director care about you and they want to see you succeed. But the people higher up dont care about students safety. In a blizzard with over a foot of snow they still expect their students and teachers to be there when every other school is closed. It is all about money and their bottom line. The tuition is outrageously expensive and the people that make these decisions dont care about students safety or damage to their car. For $40,000 tuition you think they would care a little more.

I was enrolled in the LPN program at Concorde and lets just say they fail to tell you EXACTLY how the LPN program is ran. When applying to Concorde they lead you to believe they will help you in anyway possible. You are to believe that you will have a flexible schedule but in reality say goodbye to your life for the next year. There are a total of 5 terms of 10 week intervals. You are expected to be in class at 8 am sharp, if even a minute late you are expected to make that minute up by going in early in the morning at 7am, this also includes going to the restroom so if you got to pee I suggest holding it until break. You are required to pass all your classes with a 77% if even 0.01% off you are automatically withdrawn from ALL your classes (this include the classes you are currently enrolled in) and required to start the term over. Concorde prides itself on being fair but this in fact is not true. There were multiple times during a test you could hear students whispering answers to each other in the back row (could this be because they had a friendship/relationship with the teacher in this term? In other words this teacher would discuss her sex life with the students that were caught cheating and never reported), when this was reported by the students nothing was done, but it was during this same test where students were withdrawn for not passing the class with a 77%, one of these students failed with a 76.5 (should that be rounded?). Teachers are always quitting or being fired in the middle of a class. Not all but most of these teachers are unorganized and have no clue what they are are doing half of the time. For example I spent a whole Friday from 8am-4pm watching movies like Somethings Got To Give, talking and doing nothing which all could have been spent on learning. If you are looking to go into this program take my advice and take your $30,000 elsewhere, with that type of money you can get your RN. Do major investing before applying to Concorde, look up accreditation status and everything.

Very low passing rates. High staff turnover, which makes it hard to stay consistent in classes. Small availability for tutoring. It is accelerated, so it does move quicker (if you pass everything) if you have a job they will not work with you whatsoever. Please do your research before coming to this school. Then can kick you out if you fail more than two times, and X-ray classes are set up to weed students out. It’s a lot of money to waste if it doesn’t work out. Please, please look into other schools.

I graduated back in 2016 in the MA program. Looking back, this school was very expensive and not worth it. Check with different employeers (Centura, CU Health, Health One, Denver Health) before going to school for MA as you dont always need this schooling, just a certification that you can teach yourself to take the test. To be honest, I wouldnt go into this MA field period in the state of Colorado as it is not very good pay ($12-$17 per hour). In Colorado, that might as well be minimum wage. While going to school here, my teachers would disappear all the time and quit without any notice. For about a month, we were teaching ourselves because there was no teacher. Most of the students that come here are a mess also as they do not take the medical field seriously and think its an easy way out to get fast cash. First off, this field doesnt pay well and second, you are dealing with peoples lives. If you dont have a passion for medicine and cant take this job seriously, dont bother. Youll end up getting fired. Overall, do not come to this school and dont bother going into the MA field. Go somewhere else that is worth it (associates degree in radiology, if anything, is pretty promising).

They steal your Grant and loan money and say students live on campus! They wont give you your money left over after tuition unless you threaten to sue even then they only have me $700 I had a $0 contribution so I qualified for alot of help to which they claimed I did not. Now that I attend a real college I see that they lie. Im in the process of finding out how to sue them. For the loans I have to pay back and the stress and my time that was wasted!! I would save yourself the headache and disappointment and choose a different school. This school is so unorganized and does not care about their students. Financial aid office tries to recharge you for fees you already paid and Springs random fees at you out of no where (keep all your bank statements and don’t pay in cash). There’s never enough supplies in the classroom and sometimes there’s none at all even though they pride themselves on all the “upgrades” they just made to the school. If you do decide to go to this school you’ll be extremely disappointed by not only the classes themselves but when it’s time to go out to your externship. This school cares more about what’s convenient for them instead of helping out and working with their students. Please take my advice and don’t waste your money.

I would like to start by saying I earned a Bachelors previous to entering Concorde, so I have attended other higher learning institutions. My first complaint is the school wide attendance policy. Showing up late earns you a 10% deduction on any quiz or test right off the bat regardless of reason. My commute is typically 45 minutes to get to the school, however I give myself 1.5 hours every day. Well, traffic got me one morning BADLY, thus I got a zero on the classes first quiz due to a 15 min tardiness. I have a 3.6 GPA at Concorde currently, so I do not half ass my education. As a paying adult student, I would expect to be treated as an adult and in the context of an out of my control situation. Second complaint, general education requirements. As mentioned above, I have earned a Bachelors and have over 80 credit hours of Gen Eds. Concorde does not allow the transfer of these credits to satisfy the Gen Ed reqs if they are over 5 years old. Im sorry but that is unacceptable for a school that wants to be taken seriously in a growing medical education industry. Last complaint, training to time instead of training to standard. Concorde has this amazing theory that you have to be in class the full slotted time in order to comprehend the information being taught. So instructors find themselves in a struggle to sometimes fill an extra 30 min or even hour of time after the scheduled information has been taught. Keep in mind this is my opinion and observations. If you plan on attending Concorde I would give other programs a thorough second look. As a previous working professional I expected to be treated like I was at a least a High School graduate...

The people here complaining about accreditation here do not understand how vocational and public colleges operate and lack the ability to make an informed choice. Let me explain: public colleges are regionally accredited and will ONLY take credits from regionally accredited college and universities. The goal is to further your academic pursuits: AA/AS, bachelors, and graduate school.Vocational schools, such as Concorde, are nationally accredited. They may accept credits from nationally accredited schools AND regionally accredited schools; conversely, nationally accredited credits WILL NOT transfer to regional schools. The goal is not to prepare you for further education; the goal is to prepare you for licensure/certifications so that you can work in a specific field. If you are deciding to go to college or vocational school, you better know what your priorities are i.e. further education or licensure/certs to work in chosen field. You cannot blame a school for your lack of research. Also, not all programs are created equal and you must know the credentials and accreditations (and the organizations behind them) of the program you choose. Do not depend on anyone to inform you. It is your own responsibility to inform yourself. Concorde is a great school for smart people who know how to make smart choices.

The curriculum is black and white hand outs and not legible enough to read, lab computers are old, printer are hardly working, cant make copies unless an administrator does it-also black and white prints only, Especially when assignments/test are due and research papers each week, not fair if you cant make copies or get color print hand outs. When you have a for profit school, should expect only great up-to-date and new technology. Great instructors, but Mrs. Meekins the director of program is low key racist. Say mean things if you question anything when others not around yet smile, and try to put on a face in front of everyone else. She makes learning uncomfortable everytime she enter other instructors classroom. The initial intro was a great experience. The admissions rep was friendly and knowledgeable, without being too pushy. Then I spoke to some other guy who tried too hard to lean on the heart strings to rush a commitment out of me, and riddled me with misinformation - serious stuff, like start now and youll be finished by this time, when in reality, and he knew this, the program was almost 4 MONTHS longer than it was advertised to be because of these breaks in terms that you dont find out about until youre financially committed, as well as telling me that all clinicals and related externships would happen within the times of the courses (so mon-fri), which I knew better than to believe and was right about. So suddenly youd be committed to 7 days a week, whatever. I did not end up attending due to outside circumstances, but I am now trying to obtain a copy of my TEAS exam scores. I have spoken with four different people, and apparently the only person who CAN help is never available, and the two times we HAVE spoken shes been incredibly unhelpful and now wont return my calls. In the meantime, it costs me $25 a pop to get my TEAS results sent out unless I can simply log on and read the results to various school reps. ATI Testing has said ONLY Concorde can rectify this, and theyve completely shut me out. I finally got someone at ATI to reach the director at Concorde to try to get some resolution, so we shall see. I know this seems like a silly complaint, but its screwing up a lot of things for me just because they refuse to be reasonable, and do their jobs. Its like dealing with children. Not surprised at all by all of these other reviews. Make sure you have all your ducks accounted for before you move forward with Concorde, theyre slippery.

Lets start at the beginning. Admissions, the admission people will try to talk you into Medical Receptionist or Medical Billing and Coding. Stay strong, let them know you want a specific program, and you are not going to their school unless you get it. Then they will have you pass a HOBBIT test. It is really easy, just know your basic algebra and time management. Once you pass that test you can get whatever job you are qualified for. Next, starting financial aid dept. They are completely incompetent. I had 3 different financial aid ladies while I was there. Keep all your documents, and dont pay more than your contract says. They tried to make me pay an extra $200 a month. Hold your ground. My schooling for X-ray was $45,000. I had some college credits from Morgan Community College that transferred over, and that saved me $5,000. I transferred Speech, Algebra I, English Comp, a Computer class (I cant remember the name of it) and I tried to transfer Anatomy and Physiology, but I had a C in the class. If you have a C or less, you cannot transfer the course. Then, enrollment is easy. Just show up on time and you will be fine. You cannot miss more than 2 days per class. If you are late 4 time, that is considered an absence. If you miss more than the allotted time, then you will be expelled. If you get a grade lower than a 75% in two classes, then you will be expelled. They are pretty easy courses. I showed up to my midterm hungover and on 4 hours of sleep and I aced it. Youll be fine in that area. The teachers are the best, and they are the only aspect of that school that is worth the money you pay. They teach you a whole new way of learning, testing and performing. The teachers are incredible. Finally, you graduate, pass your registry and its time to get a job. This is tricky because the student services doesnt live up to its name. They have gotten me 1 interview a year ago. A year after graduation, and I still dont have a job in the correct field. Student services keeps trying to get me to agree to take a reception job, or a limited scope job. I didnt spend 2 years and $40,000 to be a limited scope technologist. In conclusion, I should have gone to PIMA. PIMA is less expensive. It is harder to get into, and you have to study a lot more. At PIMA you get lots of homework, but not a lot of tests. Concorde gives you a test every day. PIMA graduates get more help from student services. If you are looking for the cheapest option then go to CCD, but they really suck all round. CCD is really complicated and makes you jump threw hoops, but you only have to pay $8,000 compared to Concorde $45,000 and PIMA ~$35,000ish
