My son started a few months ago in the Jr. Toddler classroom and he loves it!! The staff is extremely friendly, personable and kind. They were able to help make it a smooth and easy transition from him being at home to daycare. We are so happy to be apart of the Barnes Mill family!

Teachers and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and hands on. Our daughter has been going here for just a few months and she loves it! They are helping her to learn to walk and I know my child is in good hands. We get reports throughout the day to let us know how her day is going…from meals, diaper changes and naps.

Wonderful daycare filled with people with great attitudes. Our daughter enjoys going there and the teachers always seem to enjoy having her. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

Our daughter has been enrolled in the toddler class since May - she absolutely loves it and we love it for her! The teachers and staff are very personable and accommodating. We know that she is well taken care of, and we’re updated throughout the day via the app regarding what she’s up to. Our family loves Sunbrook academy at Barnesmill ! We have been very pleased with the education and activities that our daughter has been exposed to. He is 2 and already learning Sign language and surprises me everyday on the vocabulary that he has. The director and assistant direct owners are wonderful and have been so warm and welcoming. My daughter adores his teacher and looks forward to seeing them every day. We are very lucky to be a part of this school!!!!

I literally just called to inquire about their Pre K program. After doing more research about this location, I found a teacher reprimanded two students by hitting them and was later fired and the center was fined. It shows the incident happened just a few months ago 11/2020. Please be cautious of where you send your children. Scary!!! I will keep mines home.

We’ve been using Sunbrook Academy since 2014 and now have both of our boys ages 3 and 5 at Sunbrook. The boys love coming here and we trust them with our kids. The staff is great and act like our boys are their own family, while teachers really help them learn and how to behave around each other!

We are extremely pleased with the staff and facility. Our son is in the infant A classroom, and has been attending now for almost 3 months. It can be very difficult to leave your first child at any daycare, especially as an infant (7 months); however, the staff makes us feel very comfortable about the care that he is receiving. In fact, what sets this facility apart from the rest (and we toured many and even enrolled in another at the beginning) is the staff. They are very personable and kind. They make us feel welcomed and are responsive to any questions we may have. Having a personable staff is critical when dealing with children, and they succeed at it.

Our daughter has been at Sunbrook since she was 12 weeks old. We have been very happy with her experience there! The facility is very clean and well organized. All of the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The teachers in both infant rooms she has been in so far have been wonderful. I feel totally confident leaving my baby with them each day. They keep me updated on her status every day through their Kid Reports app which is awesome and lets me feel at ease. I cant imagine sending her anywhere else!

I have been employed with this company for almost a year and it is such a joy to come to work everyday. I really feel like a part of a team here at Sunbrook! Chelsee and Nicole really go out of their way to make sure we have the necessary tools to be better teachers!

I toured the school on yesterday and let me tell you the staff were very pleasant. This school seems to be a gem. The children seem very happy, the teachers are pleasant and it smelled very good walking in ( not the regular daycare smell). My son is on the waiting list, but I highly recommend the school.

My son started at Sunbrook when he was 10 months old; he is now in 1st grade. My daughter started at 4 months and she is wrapping up her last year here. As a working mom with no extended family locally, it is such a blessing and relief to know youre leaving your kids in loving hands. I feel lucky that my children have been able to spend the first years of their lives with a staff that looks after and cares for them like their own. They have taken the time and effort to know the unique aspects of both my kids and help foster their growth accordingly. My son and daughter are happy and thriving and I am grateful for the role the school has played in their lives. My daughter adores Ms. Nicole and I am grateful for the direction and influence she plays in her development. Sunbrook has a very special place in our hearts and I consider them like family.

I have had my son in Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill since he was 9 weeks old. The staff is loving, friendly, commutative and well educated. My son lights up every time he goes in there and sees his teachers or any of the other teachers because they are all so interactive with each other. The daily breakfast and lunches they provide are wonderful and my son loves them. The facility is clean, bright and well maintained. I feel safe dropping my now 1 year old there Monday – Friday. I love Sunbrook at Barnes Mill and recommend it to anyone!

We love this place. Our child continues to thrive in the environment they provide. The facility is beautiful and clean. While there have been some leadership changes, they have remained open to feedback. They genuinely care about the children; their learning and care provided. We love the teachers! They have made me feel comfortable, welcomed and give great insight on how we can continue our child’s learning at home. I’m grateful to have such a great childcare provider in my area.

I absolutely love Sunbrook Academy. I looked at over a dozen schools before placing my daughter in school because something about those other facilities just did not feel right. When I visited Sunbrook Academy Barnes Mill, something in my spirit said this is it and two years later we still love it! The teachers and staff are AMAZING. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter in their care!! I would totally recommend Sunbrook Academy Barnes Mill to EVERYONE!!!

My granddaughter started at Sunbrook Academy at Barnes Mill when she was 18 months old, and she is now in the 3k class with Ms. Nicole. She has received excellent care from qualified and nurturing teachers. The center is kept very clean and neat. The children are kept engaged in age-appropriate learning activities, as well as having fun.As grandparents, we have been included in our granddaughters class parties, which is not the case at most places. Were always made to feel very welcome whenever we visit.I recommend this daycare/preschool highly!

Both my son and daughter have been part of the Sunbrook Academy family since May. Each and every staff member is loving, kind and wants the best for your child. You immediately become part of a family and there is a team approach to helping your child become brighter and brighter. My kids come home happy every day, you know they are loved.

This is one of the best daycare/school Ive ever seen. They offer so much not just for the children but for the parents also. Very friendly staff and Awesome owner!! My 2 nephews have been going here for 5 years! I know when I have children this will be my first pick.

We were very apprehensive about starting daycare, but once it became a necessity we visited Sunbrook Academy. We had driven by several times and it always looked like the nicest daycare in the area so we went to an open house. From then on we have been excited by the process and constantly impressed with this staff and facility. The lesson plans are far beyond what I thought was possible and my son comes home with new skills every day. I would recommend this school to anyone.

My daughter and son go to this school!, its the best decision we made! My kids went to another center and we werent happy. We started Sunbrook in May and couldnt be happier! The management and teachers go over and beyond especially when my daughter was having a difficult time when we started. The teachers are wonderful and care about the education of the children.

My son is in the infant class and his teachers are excellent - very attentive and great at communicating. The administration staff are super helpful and the facilities are clean.

We love this daycare ! All the staff and teachers are very nice and welcoming! Our daughter started this daycare right about at 5 months ( now 17 months) and is well taken cared here. We love her all teachers she has had so far! The facility is very clean and organized as well.

I think people is wasting money sending their children there. They barely feed them whats on menu always short-staffed but they did get rid of both management but the one they got there now its not no better than the last two Ill tell my supervisor manager. Hopefully things will get better there.

My 3 year old has been here since she was a baby and we have been extremely happy! The front office staff are wonderful and each teacher we have had have been great to work with. They truly love my child.

I have had children at this school since the day it opened! I was a total mess trying to find a daycare that I was comfortable trusting with my kids lives. I had a good feeling the second i walked in to take a tour and have never regretted it. My kids LOVE going to school everyday!!!!!!

We are very happy with the Sunbrook Academy school on the East West Connector! The teachers are involved and all nice. They help us with developmental questions and really do love the babies. The staff is very friendly, personable and flexible when needed. Our child has learned alot since he started and I love the curriculum. Every week there are noticeable developmental improvements that have my wife and I smiling. On average our child has had no more than 5 to 7 kids per teacher. The food menu is incredible, I want to eat their every day. Give it a try, you will be impressed.

My son was on the waiting list for about two months. I thought they are really good because we pay for toddler program is $265 a week. The first day I drop my son off I was hesitated because I saw a couple of them with their noses running really bad and the staff didnt even wipe it off for them that make me want to grab a Kleenex and do it. After three days at this facility and my son start to have his nose running and lost weight too. I mean the staffs are nice but have no skills to take care your child really good. I would not recommend this day care for toddler.

Such a beautiful school!

We have our daughter in Private PreK and our son in after school with Sunbrook. We are new to the area after a recent move and were nervous about the transition for our young kids. They have been going for three weeks and LOVE it. From the staff to the curriculum, I would highly recommend Sunbrook Academy.

Sunbrook Academy at Barnesmill is amazing and the best decision that we made. Our daughter was at another school that is local and we had nothing but problems. The directors and teachers have been nothing but great during the transition.

My daughter goes this location and I love it. The staff is great and the hours of operations is good for late worker. Parents night out is awesome too.

I love Sunbrook! My son has shown so much development since attending at 7months old. He is now 1.5 years old and he looks forward to going to school. The teachers are patient and you can tell that they truely love their job and being with the kids.

This place advertised Trunk or treat. I took my 2 year old granddaughter (not a member of the preschool). They let us know that we were not supposed to be there? Why advertise if its for YOUR PRECHOOL ONLY???

This School has gone down the drain. We had our daughter start this school beginning of this year. When she first started it was under the old management who actually cared about the families and made an effort to keep parents involved as much as possible. However, sadly, new management came on and it has been absolutely AWFUL! My daughter is a 3-yr old with no experience going to a daycare, and this new management cares nothing about the children, only about the revenue they will generate by pushing younger kids to older classes to make space for the new kids that they are trying to bring in. These are just of the incidents that have taken place since my daughter started:- I have listed on my registration form that at no point in time is she to be given ham or pork and there have been multiple instances where they gave that meat to her.- My daughter came home one day complaining a teacher smacked her hand. I took the complaint to the director at the time and they told me they were doing an investigation with corporate to find out what happened. It turned out they didnt find anything on the cameras so the teacher ended up staying at the school. My daughter did get moved to a different class to avoid having that teacher.- The same teacher we had an issue with somehow temporarily came to help out with my daughters class one day. At the end of the day when it was time to pick her up, My daughter was in a different class. I asked the teacher of her class, the one that has a problem with my kid why she was in a different class and the teacher replied, Because your husband gave me a funny look when he dropped her off this morning She told me that she asked one of the assistant directors if my daughter could be in a different class and the assistant director said yeah. HOW IS THAT OKAY?! I let the school director know that I was upset because my daughter shouldnt have to deal with a teacher feeling uncomfortable by my husband giving her a funny look! The School director told me she was going to get with the assistant director and figure out what happened. This was last week. I brought it up twice more after that incident and I still have not received an update or understanding why that happened.- They have an APP that the teachers are supposed to update to let the parents know what their kids are doing throughout the day, the food they eat and what time the naps are. We barely ever get the updates. I have let the directors know that this was an issue and just like always, they said they will resolve it and nothing has happened.The Management does not care about the families or the kids. You go to the directors with an issue, dont think you are going to receive a phone call with a follow up on how they will resolve that issue. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! My daughter has had the worst anxiety, behavior and moods since starting this school because they are SO disorganized, have insane amount of turnover from the teachers and has no stability or structure. They are constantly changing teachers for the classes and has close to 30 kids in one classroom because they dont have enough teachers. They get no loyalty from teachers because they dont treat them well. The teachers BARK at the kids and basically bully them into listening.This school is NOT worth the money. I would not recommend this school to anybody because the negative impacts it can leave on your kids is just not worth it. I am changing my daughter to a new school next week because we can no longer deal with the unprofessional-ism, instability and confusion anymore.

Our son has been here for 2 years and we could not be happier. We were at 2 other local centers before we finally found our home at Sunbrook. The office ladies are always friendly and we love our teachers!

We love the teachers at Sunbrook Barnes Mill. The second day my son was enrolled was Snowpocalypse 2014 and the teachers kept me as a new mother calm and I knew my son was well cared for. We look forward to having our second child enrolled also.

Our son has been going to Sunbrook for almost a full year. We feel very comfortable with taking our child there and drive 20mins out of our way. There plenty of other daycares around us but feeling that assurance he will be taken care of, is worth the drive. The teachers there spend valuable time with the kids and are always giving them activities to help them develop. Wonderful daycare!!!

I enrolled my daughter about 6 months ago. After visiting many preschools nothing compared to Sunbrook Academy. The directors Christina and Kendra are always friendly and helpful with any and all questions. The teachers are structured and truly have a noticeable passion for what they do. My daughter hasnshown immense progression in her speech and development.The school sends via phone photos videos and updates throughout the day. The school offers extra activities such as amusic teacher days, a book fair, Tumblebus, splash day and playball activities. Not only am I confident dropping my daughter off every morning- she loves going to school. Not to mention by the time she geys home she is exhausted from all the curriculum activities the teachers structurally provide. We are moving and specifically starting in the area to keep her enrolled at this Sunbrook location. I recommend this preschool academy to any and everybody.

Our daughter started attending Sunbrook when she was 6 months old. Her little brother started there when he was six weeks old. We have only glowing things to say!Our 1 and 2 year olds loved going to school and absolutely ADORED their teachers.We moved out of the area 3 months ago and have since started at a new school/ daycare. The new place is ok, but boy oh boy do we miss Sunbrook! Our 2 yr old daughter still asks to go back and see her teachers by name.Now with the benefit of a second school to compare to I have to say I am even more impressed with the Barnes Mill Sunbrook staff. They are professionals who love your kids and encourage their development. They know exactly what they are doing in terms of how they structure the day for learning and the teachers are very engaged.Sunbrook at Barnes Mill is an absolute gem and I strongly recommend them. Leaving your kids with someone all day long is difficult, but they made it easier on me as a parent because I knew my kids were being taken care of by staff that truly loves them.We miss you all! Big thanks to Ms. Kendra, Ms. Nichelle, Ms. Tia, Ms. Gale, Ms. Emma, Ms. Jerrica, Ms. Pam, Ms. Paula, Ms. Carletha, Ms. Ericka, Ms. Keia, and everyone else.
