I cant say enough good things about our experience with at the South Park Meadows location. Our child is in the Pioneers class and her teacher, Ms. Clarissa, has done an amazing job of keeping us informed on whats happening, sending us pictures, and providing great educational content for our daughter. Its so hard to send your kid to daycare, especially during a pandemic, but I have zero Mom guilt knowing that our daughter is so well loved.

My daughters time at Stepping Stone was invaluable (for both her and myself). We became close with the staff there, and as a single mom, I felt 100% comfortable dropping her off every morning. The environment is clean and positive, with a supportive team of caregivers and teachers around at all times.Their app is amazing and although we moved to another state and found a great school here, the app is non-comparable. That was such an asset for us!My daughter was a preemie, and it was such a blessing for me to see her grow and develop at such a rapid pace during her time there.

My daughter has been attending Stepping Stone since she was 2 years old. I am so happy that I was able to find a school that would provide a safe, clean, structured and educational environment for my daughter. She continues to blossom everyday and I see it in her art work and lessons she brings home. She is 4 years old and was writing her name before she turned 4! I am so proud of her and how she can recognize numbers and letters. I have Stepping Stone to thank for her growth. I dont worry about her when Im at work because I know she is in a safe environment and her teachers communicate well. The staff is always kind and the school clean, they also keep parents informed. Ive had my daughter at both the Kyle and most recent South Park Meadows location and you can see the value and care they put into their schools very similar and watching my daughter thrive brings me so much joy. When she does head off to kindergarten in the next 1.5 years I know she will be advanced and ready!

As first time parents, we were very pleased with this school. Our daughter started at Stepping Stone when she was around 9mo old to a year and a half before we left. We loved their educational program but more importantly their teachers and staff were very caring and attentive. We have now moved to WA and are having a hard time finding a daycare that is as great as this one was. We have high expectations now in a childcare center due to this school, their program, and their staff.

Loved our time here for our daughter. She had been going since she was 6mo to just shy of 3yrs old. Only reason why we left is we moved to Kyle. only complaint I have...parking. Other then that the teachers and administration are great and we will miss them!

We started taking my son to stepping stone when he was 2 years old. It was his first time at a daycare, he had only been babysat by family. At first we really enjoyed the school although he never got better at drop off during the whole duration of his time at stepping stone. He started to come home with bites on his arms and leg with a write up stating that he had been hurt. The bites kept getting worse and worse and the write up slips fewer and fewer. They moved to his stomach back and shoulders. I brought it up to his teacher anytime I saw bites and she seemed to have no clue it was happening. One day I came to pick him up, i saw him in the buggy and went to grab him. I immediately noticed a huge bump on his forehead. He had hit so hard it was purple and his skin was broken. I immediately went to show the principle and again no one had any clue what happened (I know he cried when it happened) The next week came around and I walked in to drop him off which he was not happy with more then usual. We walked outside to the playground and he just hung on to me so I stayed with him and watched the teachers. There was another kid from his class that had no shoes on and the teacher noticed and asked where her shoes were. I watched the teacher look over and see one of the other 2 year olds in his class putting one pair of shoes on top of her own shoes. The teacher proceeds to walk over to the 2 year old and rip the shoes from her hands saying “that’s not normal Sydney”. I immediately took him home. The next day I walk in to talk to the principle again about what I saw the day previously and the forehead bump from the week before she tells me “the bump wasn’t to bad and that my kid keeps biting other kids” !!!!!!!!! My kid did not have a biting problem in fact he was the one getting bit, he always came home with at least 5 new bites. So not only was my child’s safety rendered but I was also invalidated. Needles to say that was his last stay at stepping stone plum creek. He is now 3 years old and at another stepping stone location as well as his little sister. They both love the school and are thriving (without having any write ups) I hope they can replace the head staff at the south park location. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely campus

My son went to Stepping Stones Southpark starting at 4 months until he was 17 months and we couldnt ask for a better experience. Christina and Crystal run a tight ship and never made us feel like overreacting new parents. They took excellent care of our son, were flexible with our schedule and kept communication open with us. We only left because we are moving out of state. I highly recommend this location.

My daughter was only here for 1 week. Every day that she was here, she had at least 2 blowouts (normally she didnt have any). The last day that I took her there, there was nobody up front when I dropped her off or picked her up, the teacher seemed really annoyed/burned out, nobody at the center answered the phone for over half an hour until I got in touch with corporate and they corrected the situation, the email address for the school didnt work so I had to email corporate, and when I went to pick my kid up, their ratio in the nursery was beyond the state maximum. I asked the principal about this and she acted like she didnt know what I was talking about. The principal and assistant principal seem stretched too thin, and were constantly running around doing other jobs. They also seem to have a loose regard for the state requirements for ratios. I mentioned in a mothers group and 2 other mothers mentioned that they had seen the ratios in excess of the state requirements. If you do have a child here and see that, I encourage you to report it! The facility here is very nice. I wish that the daycare was managed better.

The best part of Stepping Stone I soon realized is what happens in the classroom. Not only does my son get his basic needs met (ie: diaper changes, feeding on schedule which is super important since I am breastfeeding), they have a learning program/curriculum even for the kiddos! My son is not only learning so much developmentally, but he also engages with other children and is learning how to interact socially. It is a HUGE relief knowing my son absolutely adores his teachers. It warms my heart every time I drop my son off and when he hears Ms. Diane or Ms. Clarissas voice he gets the biggest smile on his face (I swear Ms. Diane is mommy #2 in my sons eyes). :)I highly recommend Stepping Stone. I picked this daycare because its super clean, the teachers are awesome, they have a keypad at the front door and security cameras throughout the facility to provide peace of mind for me and also they provide daily reports and pics/videos.For all you first-time mommies like myself turns out, it was A LOT harder for mom than it was for baby to get used to daycare life (my son started daycare at 3 months old and he is now 7 months old)! And if you have trouble adjusting at first, the principal, Christina, is a life saver by easing my concerns and anxiety and so kindly put up with my daily check-in calls for the first few weeks.Only negative I can think of his the parking lot size, so if you have a really big car, have fun getting out of your parking spot when its peak drop off (8:30am ish) /pick up times (around 5:30pm).

Hello, first time Mom here! I knew when we decided to have a baby that I would be going back to work. As my maternity leave came to an end, I became so emotional and anxious about leaving my baby with anyone! I didn’t know how I would be able to do it. Turns out, it was A LOT harder for Mom than it was for baby!I am so thankful for the staff at Stepping Stone who helped us make this transition. The principal, Christina, is always on top of everything and makes you feel very welcome. She was also so helpful at putting my fears at ease and she didn’t look at me like I was crazy when I cried everyday dropping my baby off… only to call to and check on him less than an hour later! They totally get it here and understand how hard it is to leave your little one. The facility is also top of the line and super clean. The keypad at the front door and security cameras throughout the facility provide peace of mind for me. And the playground in the back is covered in beautiful trees. The real magic happens in the classroom. I soon realized that I couldn’t have given my child the same experience at home that he gets in the classroom. They have a learning program/curriculum even for babies! My son is not only learning so much developmentally, but he also engages with other children and is learning how to interact socially. I love the daily electronic reports telling me about his day. I’m able to see how often and what time he napped, when his diaper was changed and when he drinks a bottle. And I often receive pictures of my baby, right on my phone! Talk about brightening your day! The teachers in the infant room are fantastic. We absolutely love Ms. Diane and Ms. Clarissa. They excel at consistently communicating with me. They are great at following any directions I send and supportive of any specific needs that my son has. The teachers have also been helpful in letting me know when I should increase the size of his bottles and if he seems full/satisfied (which is helpful for me since I breastfeed). I really believe my son thinks Ms. Diane is Mommy #2. She helps him feel happy and safe and he trusts her. As a mom, I can’t put in to words how much this means to me.Most importantly, my son is HAPPY here and he enjoys going to school! We are so thankful we chose Stepping Stone School.

They abused and neglected my child here and since he is pre-verbal they are using that to try to get away with what they did to him. They stuck him in corners, put hin in a room for about 4 hours away from the class, the hurt him all because they thought he would not be able to tell us what happen. (That is a jail setting, not a school). Yes my child is active but he was there for 11 days which 1 day he was locked up. And they said they could help also we were going to be paying for extra tutors. We went above and beyond to work with the school. They knew!! When he started they said thats what our school is for, we can help you. They gave him a chance of 11 days. My son was only written up ONCE.. They already had it in their minds that they wanted him out. They put all the blame on my son when , I walked into the classroom one day and the teacher was yelling at all the children. Never are parents called at this school. They DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR OWN CODE.
