The students at this school were well behaved at a recent high school football game. It was our school homecoming and I worked a booth which gave away free cotton candy for all and St. Michaels students were so appreciative and cordial. They were also all Srs and briefed me about future plans to attend major Universities. Great job parents. Your children were very respectful!!!

Shhhh! Don’t tell, but St. Michael’s is the very best private high school in Austin. The faculty and staff are amazing. The winter term is truly special and unique. Students are more well rounded because they are encouraged to participate in different extracurricular activities, not just one track. St. Michael’s won the Henderson Cup. “The Henderson Cup is an overall school championship award given by the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) to the school that earns the most points in 27 TAPPS championships in a school year.” You must be a strong and well rounded school to receive this award! If you really want to understand the success of St. Michael’s, look at the students. They are amazing. They are attending wonderful universities. Check it out, but don’t tell!😀

We definitely made the right choice when choosing St. Michaels for High School. The small family atmosphere, faith formation and academics have been a great fit for our kids.

Saint Michaels is an exemplary college prep academy. The staff makes the students work hard, often above the collegiate undergraduate level. While the school is designed to prepare students for college, they seem out of touch with reality in a few areas. St. Michaels imposes strict and frustratingingly illogical tardy and absentee policies. This makes life extraordinarily difficult for students who may have medical or familial committments. If the school wanted to truly prepare students for college life, they should not maintain strict and hilariously unreasonable tardy/absentee policies.In summary, the school is excellent if you would like to subject a student to a wealthy, top tier college preparatory school that engages students in a close knit community and rigorous academics designed to prepare student for college life. However, the school upholds hilariously unreasonable rules and regulations that many feel hinder the student and their families, rather than encourage learning. If the school could change some of these rules to better promote learning, and to accurately refelct college life, then they would cause many less headaches for students and parents alike.
