I used to go here.Used to.The kids here are nice, but just make sure you stick with the good crowd.For an elementary school, the food is okay.Some teachers are nice (not you miss brown)All in all, if you live in this area, its not the worst school, but if you are planning on moving to Austin, dont put this as your first choice.

The school backyard is open for the public during the after hours, its surrounded with fence that makes it most suitable for little kids, so the safe and advanced installations. There is really allot of room here to run and play any games here. There are no neighborhood team practices at this backyard so its never occupied (at least this season).

I went to this school and am currently in HS with a 5.0 GPA. The teachers are great.

Great parent involvement, wonderful teachers, and Exemplary rating. There are three elementary schools in Steiner Ranch but we love ours. They have two wonderful festivals in Fall and Spring. All the teachers have been there a long time but we love them all. The principal and vice principal are very involved and incredibly approachable. The PTA is great and very receptive to the parents and students. All the support staff is great also. Our son was in ELE so he had Ms. Weis for three years. The school counselor is wonderful and the Supplementary Reading Program teacher, Ms. Miller is wonderful. Most of the teachers are also private tutors. Ms. Herttenberger is in charge of the Learning Lab and is an excellent resource. All the teachers are great but the extra programs make it over the top for us. The Dyslexia teacher Ms. Cauley is amazing.
