For the last 3 years and during COVID, this dojo has been an extension of our family. Sensei John and the instructors have helped shape my son and daughter through critical developmental phases to be better, to keep trying, to work hard, and never give up. My kids respect themselves, are kind to others, and have a quiet confidence that extends beyond the dojo.Beyond the mixed martial arts discipline, there is a special kind of magic here.

I was a student here and looked forward to every class. The instructors are amazing and make learning lots of fun, totally recommend!

This place has been outstanding for our son and daughter. They have been going here for almost 2 years now and they love it which is what really counts. I have observed them grow as individuals in this program more than any other activity we have put them through in the past. The owners and trainers have helped our kids grow both physically and personally. Through their martial arts they emphasize physical strength, mental strength, education, respect, responsibility, perseverance and discipline. Sensei John, his wife and their team have created such a positive environment that all the kids have such Camaraderie which I believe enhances the kids’ commitment to the program. My children attended Elite for almost 1.5 years. Then one day, Sensei John decided to bully and degrade my 4 year and I in front of others, over something trivial. He manhandled my daughter in frustration and ripped her stripe off her belt. Then he turned to me and went off. I repeatedly asked him to stop speaking to me that way, but he continued to berate me in front of my children and other families. He also said that my daughters anxiety was my fault. John was condescending, and he took his anger out on a supportive family. I would NOT recommend Elite to anyone.

Dojo is amazing, has very interesting fighting style and helps teach me how to fight in case I ever got in trouble. Amazing location and would recommend to everyone. Been there a lot as a kid overall would recommend to all people.

Excellent program for adults, too! The curriculum presents a solid grounding in a broad range of martial styles, going deeper into specific techniques as students advance. Practical self-defense, sport style sparring, and physical fitness are all well represented.Students are a diverse bunch of very friendly, outgoing people. You will feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommended!

The community and atmosphere that Sensei John has created at Elite is one that you wont find anywhere else. I started Martial arts at 8 years old and have been training there ever since. The Elite instructors have taught more than just MMA. They have taught me how to be a leader, how to be kind and compassionate, and most importantly how to believe in myself and always strive to learn more. I will always be grateful to my Elite family and cannot thank Sensei enough. If you are looking for a place to train I highly recommend Elite Martial Arts for all ages.

Jon Roberts and all the other Black Belts there are outstanding with the kids. Its apparent that the kids really respect him and listen to him. Our 8 year old twin girls are just starting there but I have attended other schools in the past and Elite Martial Arts has a sense of community and friendship thats rare to find in more traditional Chain schools.Highly recommended.

This Dojo is amazing. It helped me through tough times especially because im a bigger guy. It helped me control my anger and out it to good use instead of lashing out at people and after all of that, this Dojo also helped me get skinnier and that will be something i will cherish my whole life.

I never thought my son would be going to any martial classes. After one visit with one of his friends, he loved it and we came to love Sensei! We cannot say enough about how awesome Elite is!

Sensei Roberson is excellent with children, always teaching respect, cordiality and friendship. My son loves going to the dojo. He became more responsible and independent!
