This has been an Amazing school for our 5yr old as he transitions to kindergarten next semester. The teachers are so caring & have done so great in his continued education. I love that the school encompasses so much outdoor activity & crafts using supplies from nature. The whole experience of a day at this school is wonderful. From starting off the day with kid friendly yoga, playing outside, the weekly lessons, & making friends, our son has Loves this school. I wish it was one he could go to longer. We love it ❤

Nature School of Austin prepared our twins for success in kindergarten and beyond. The teachers are patience, creative, and caring. They use developmentally appropriate activities that are engaging, purposeful, and build skills in a gradual manner. I also loved that they emphasize outdoor exploration and play. We would highly recommend this school.

I would highly recommend Nature Preschool Center to everyone! Finding a preschool with real transparency and strong communication skills from the director was very important to us and Aarti fits that description perfectly. Not only does she and her staff provide an amazing space for kids to learn inside the classroom along with exploring and being active outside, she shows genuine interest and care for your family as a whole. Our child really enjoys being able to take his work home each week to share with us. As parents we love seeing what he is learning as well so we can expand on the topic at home along with seeing how he is improving in areas like writing. The school also provides a variety of attendance options if you are looking for full time or part time, which was very helpful for our family. We will miss the school when we move on to Kindergarten.

My son starts this preschool 1 year ago and he loves it. I love their different programs set for kids. Socker, dancing, Spanish and Chinese lessons and so on. The teachers are all responsible and care the kids a lot. My son brings the works he has done at school every week. You can see the progress by the paintings and writings.I highly recommend it.

We started our son here in October and could not be more thrilled with the Nature School. Not only does our son spend the majority of his day outside, but he is learning so much! As an educator myself and a mom, I could not ask for more. Excellent school with affordable rates. Best parenting decision we have made so far!

Our daughter loved going to school everyday. She gets to have plenty outdoor playtime under a nice shade canopy and misters when hot. Their daily activities include a lot of different elements from nature they gather along with learning about the world around them. The environment is warm and inviting and the teachers are caring and truly love the children. I appreciate that there are varying methods of teaching incorporated within their day to day curriculum and I think that that helps to tailor more to each individual child. When leaving or graduating the children get a small ceremony which I feel brings a bit of closure for them and their friends. The families that attend Nature School have also been wonderful and all the children are very sweet.

This is the third pre-school our 4yr old has been. But with no doubt I can say this is the best school out of all we have seen.We had spent couple of days helping him selecting his pre-school. He loved Nature School on his first visit. Till date we have never seen a single day of hesitation from his 5 months he been there. Moreover, noticed commendable development in his reading/writing skills.Hats off to faculty and management!

We love the Nature School! Weve enrolled our 4 year old in a couple different schools in the area and the Nature School is by far the best in all around education and growth. They teach so much more than just numbers and letters and preparation for kindergarten. They help the kids learn what is in their environments and is the only school I have seen that helps little kids grow their concentration. This was a big deal for my 4 year old. He would get so frustrated trying to do a task and after learning at the Nature School, where they cultivate a learning and growing environment, he not longer gets frustrated as easily. The teacher to student ratio is also very low which was a BIG plus for me and the teachers there are very involved in helping the kids. Since they do spend a good bit of time learning about the world outside, it is always fun to have our son come home and talk about the new thing he has learned: butterfly, acorn, ants, crickets, spiders, flowers and the list goes on. I cant say enough good things about this school!

Our kids, ages 3 and 5, had an amazing experience at Nature Preschool Center! We came to Ms. Aarti with our guard up after having had a bad experience in a Kyle Montessori school and immediately her knowledge and warm demeanor assured us that here our kids experience would be worthwhile and they would be safe. She was very open and knowledgeable, answered all our questions, and we decided that this school was what we were looking for. Her pedagogy is great since she combines various approaches in order to provide a positive, non-punitive but also well-structured environment. The students learn so many different things, ranging from the obvious like letter-sound correspondence, science and math to Mandarin, music, Yoga, meditation, and art. The kids are happy and spend most of their time outside learning directly from nature, and parents receive weekly folders with all the impressive projects the kids work on. Its very apparent, especially to my family since we are professional educators as well, that Ms. Aarti runs a true school and not just a daycare/babysitting service. The kids are engaged and invested in their growth, they are provided opportunities to explore their topics of interest in greater depths, and they learn to be kind, loving conflict-solvers. Additionally, the school is always clean and the kids have a large variety of educational toys, a treehouse with misters, and a soccer field to play in. I have nothing but good things to say about the school and its teachers. Our kids experience here was well worth the daily commute and we will miss everyone there tremendously!

My daughter loved this school and was there over a year before we moved to the East coast. The teachers are great as is the environment of the school.

I dont even know where to begin. My children have been to their fair share of preschools and nothing can even hold a flame to the Nature School of Austin. I started emailing with the director, Ms Aarti, months prior to even moving to Austin and was blown away at her always prompt and thorough communication. When we did our private tour of the facility I felt like we were finally at home. The philosophies of the school aligned so perfectly with my parenting style that I knew it was the right choice. The first day my children started at the school something that has never happened at any other school or even playdate happened and I was completely blown away... At drop off they kissed me goodbye and ran off to go play without any leg grabbing, tears, or even a pain of insecurity or unsureness about their new environment. The school that we had left in Austin in order to come to Nature School my children attended for over 6 months and had cried during drop off every single day. I got in the car and actually cried myself. As a single mother it is so important to know that not only are my kids in a safe and thriving environment but THEY feel safe, loved, and happy. Nature School has exceeded any expectation I could ever have for a preschool. My childrens development, social skills, and abilities have sky rocketed. My four year old knows the continents, can write, schools me on facts I didnt know, and has a new found love for learning already. My two year old is already starting to write, also knows the continents, knows her letters, numbers, and colors, and has a new grasp on picking up after herself, manners, and responsibility. Both of my children look forward to going to school everyday. The amount of love and acceptance thought to these young children brings tears to my eyes. The well-rounded curriculum provided is so thoughtful and ranges from basic skills and lessons to foreign languages and fitness (yoga and Ti-Chi). Ms Aarti and her ENTIRE staff are some of the most inspiring, loving, and trustworthy providers Ive ever come across. I strongly feel that if every school was a clone of the Nature School we would have a much brighter and loving future ahead.

They are great with the kids and the student to teacher ratio is great!
