Me and my kids like this school a lot. Yes, there is some work need to be done and some room for improvements, but After while everything worked out.If you would like meet with principle or teachers , need just communicate to them and make an appointment. I never had any problems meet with any teacher or personnel.More communication available threw the android app or Database on schools website.You can see how is your child doing in classes,academically or with the discipline, it s very easy to check what home work your child have and find out lots of other useful information. Yes, this is not a huge public school with stadiums and concert auditoriums.But looks like goals is different. This school cares more about children academic education and future. Besides, you can see how little money can do more. Public schools always complain about money and do so little. In General, I think this is a great school with awesome teachers.All other problems can be worked out if parents really involved in childs education.

Honestly, I just did not like the school at all I had problems with the teachers throughout all the years my siblings were there. The college advisor did not help my sister at all with her college stuff but instead shes out helping other students that dont even go to that school. I just dont understand that, your main priority is your own students. Youre supposed to be there for all of your students not just your valid Victorian. Im really disappointed with this school. A part from the college advisor other teachers are really rude. The only good thing about this school is front office staff! Good job ladies keep up the good work.

I’ve never experienced not being able to receive my sons records online, this place does not give equal right for parents that have joint custody of their child, it saddens me that I have to go to lengths to get my child’s information only to get shut down and told over and over again that they will see what they can do about it. Mrs. Gomez, the administrator at the school, I can say the least that I’m not impressed at all with your professional skills.

Very good school people are saying nonsense that a kid in 3 grade offering cocaine i mean they heard but do they actually know.In my opinion Its a very calm and friendly school no bullying none.

I wouldnt take the reviews alleging drug use at the school very seriously. In fact, they are absolute nonsense. Third graders offering to share cocaine; drugs in the classroom? Please. Its true that on one occasion a tenth grader, an excellent student otherwise, was found to have smoked pot on the premises. He was immediately expelled. There is a zero tolerance policy firmly in place, with regular drug dog visits to deter illegal activity.

I go to harmony and they have great teachers and great students that help you out with a lot of things such as academic achievements. they have good cafeteria food which are very healthy and they have cool clubs that you can join after school.

Where is the drug problems my nephew goes here his name is Julian hernandez. Hes never complained about there being drugs here he says he loves the school but they just need better food,teachers, sports teams and classrooms and a better gym.

Very good staff and safety supervision over the student and having a code to pick up a student is very good . And great education skills

Awesome school! Better test scores than the schools in the area.

This school is a very friendly environment, they have a zero bully tolerances and deal with any problems there and then. but there is only one downside, the school dosent have a consular. so if the students need to express a problem to some one, it ends up being the teachers. But the teacher care about there students and take there time when explaining something. So if the student is confuse at anytime, the teacher stops and slows down for them and make sure they understand.

I never saw drugs at this school, HSE. My son went there for 5 years 6th thru 10th grade. I really like that they take bullying seriously, unlike AISD at that time. It was a good, safe school for my son who has some sped concerns. The only reason we left it in 2016 was because it did not become a school with many electives, although in theory that was supposed to happen. For a high school student electives can really help make the day go by and allows a different part of a kid to develop. Academically it is average on par with the AISD schools in that area.

We have had 3 out of 4 children at this campus for the previous 2 years and we absolutely enjoy having our kids get their education here. This year we will have all of them, from K-10th at this one campus.We have a son that requires special circumstances in his education plan and it was a constant fight with the DvISD to maintain his status. His specialist was referring us to consult an attorney. Then there was my 2nd sons lack of education his K year. We knew he was behind the entire year but his teacher would tell us differently. Then at the end of the school year we asked for him to be placed in a summer school program; our request was denied because, as told to us by his school, the summer school slots were reserved for the ESL students.Enter HSE the following year. My 1st grader that didnt receive a proper education in his first academic year had a teacher that actually cared and worked with him and others after school, and most of the summer to get him ready for 2nd grade. My other son received his accommodations that were necessary, and then some, without having to fight for them.HSE did more for my kids in their short time than what DvISD did in the same time period.
