Our captain Brady was awesome. We took the pontoon out for our buddys bachelor party and he and took us to some great spots. Super laid back and we ended up extending our time because we were having a great time! Cant recommend enough for any occasion.

We had a great experience with Chris as our captain the weekend of Labor Day! We had 6 young kids and 4 adults and his laid back style and great music allowed everyone to have the best experience! He was very knowledgeable about the lake and safety items for the kids and was very cool and patient with the kids while they took turns tubing. Chris made good recommendations for restaurants on the lake and timed it out so we had enough time to stop and swim and take a nice cruise around the lake. The next time we rent a boat we will be sure to request Chris as our captain!

They were awesome! Dustin was amazing and made sure everyone was good and put up with our crazy group! I dropped my phone in the water and thought it as done for. Dustin and Jacob went out of their way to retrieve it and get it back to me even though we had already left! Highly recommend!

Jacob was a true captain and coach. He was punctual, courteous, and patient as he taught me, my wife, and 8 year old daughter how to wakesurf in one session, and still had time to pull us on the tube, and skiing. Boat was clean with a nice system. Will be headed out with him again. Highly recommend!!!

My group had such a fun time on our Lone Star boat rental! Four hours was perfect, and everything went smoothly. We got the boat for 15 people with an upper deck and slide, and it was great. Trent was a good captain! Would definitely rent with them again when I come to Lake Travis!

Rented out a 15 passenger Double Decker Tritoon with friends to celebrate my graduation. The entire process was extremely smooth from the initial booking right down to the day of our plans. Our group booked a surf boat for today more than 3 months in advance. We showed up to the dock early hoping to get all set and be able to start on time. However, we sat there for over an hour after our scheduled start time until receiving a call from one of the employees speaking on behalf of the owner telling us they didn’t see our reservation and he could be there if we waited another 1.5 hours. We canceled immediately.As a business owner myself, this is complete negligence especially on a busy weekend like this.

The boat and Capt. were awesome!!! My only thing I would change is the loading and unloading dock. Walking across the water to get to the dock was not expected; Very slippery getting on and off the the dock. Not good for older guest.

My friends and I booked a wakesurf boat 3 months in advance and arrived to the doc 30 minutes early. No captain showed up and we waited about another trying to contact the phone number provided and no one answered. After a long time we got a call back and said they forgot about us. Terrible service and experience.

Booked 3 months in advance…. Loan Star Boat Rentals failed to show up. Would probably not suggest using this rental agency.

After calling several other companies, Lone Star was the only one that would take us to where we wanted to dock on Lake Travis. An alternative solution was found for getting onto the lake, due to the current COVID restrictions for commercial operations ( something you need to check).The pontoon boat was great, fitting all 17 of us with ease. We had a new lily pad to float on and other new inflatables to use. Our captain John was great.LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 friendly company.

Wow!! What a fun, memorable experience! My husband and I are new to the wake surfing scene so we decided to rent a boat w an experienced captain to help teach us. Jordan was our captain. The boat was perfect, the wake was smooth, and Jordan had the patience of a saint. Haha! He gave us some great pointers and didnt seem annoyed at all even though we came on board as super green peas. The boat was clean,, in great condition, and had 3 extra boards for us to try. He even drove us through a cool cove area to take a break. We will definitely be using him/them again! Thank youuuuu!!!

He knew what he was doing and made sure we were all having a good time. The lake was beautiful, the boat was spacious and comfy, and the water sports were great. Lone Star Wake Rentals and the owner Jacob Cope are awesome! I had some friends in from out of town and I wanted to make sure they had a good time but also try something new. Not only did Jacob give us a great price but he also had all the equipment needed to get out on the lake. We got to surf and wake board. It was the first time for all of us so naturally we were not too good at it. Jacob took the time to show us the ropes, gave us some great tips and before we knew it everyone was able to board. Not to mention the boat itself is amazing. Great sound system and with everyone waving at you, it made you feel like a million bucks. This past Saturday has to be one of the best days Ive had in the ten years Ive lived in Austin. Jacob is a considerate and kind Captain that showed our party of 10 a great time out on Lake Austin. He knows all the spots and waterways to make sure everyone has a fun experience and get their shot at wake surfing or boarding. What I really appreciated was how he gave each one of us tips on how to get better and the encouragement to give it another shot. Definitely will be calling Lone Star Wake Rentals up again next year!

Excellent service and experience! Jacob made sure that everyone was well situated and had the best time on the lake. I was able to learn how to wakeboard and wakesurf during that time as well. Jacob was a great instructor and very patient. The boat is fully equipped with everything you need to learn. He will even teach you how to drive the boat if the lake isnt too crowded. Jacob was very big on safety and made sure that everyone got off of the boat in the same way that they got on the boat. Money well spent! Definitely rent from these guys. I will rent again.

Hired him to take my friends and I out for my bachelor party; by the end of the day everyone had learned to wakeboard on an a clean and very impressive boat. Jake took care of us, showed us the party spots but we also cruised up and down the whole lake, well worth the experience and patience he had teaching most of us how to get going on the wakeboard.
