Great blueberry bagels at that one cafe on the ground floor. Really great.Just the other day I was hungry in the GDC and I thought to myself... Hakan, you deserve a blueberry bagel.Naturally, I had to get one. I went downstairs and asked the bagel associate for a blueberry bagel. I got it and never looked back.Anyway, aside from the blueberry bagels, this place has lots of space.

The Gates Center which houses UT’s computer science department was recently built in 2013. A wood and glass monument to computing prowess, it is an impressive structure both in design and in the strength of the academics within. Within these halls are housed the robot soccer team which won first place in last year’s championship. There are also robotic automated segways that roam the halls learning how to avoid obstacles. The entire building has a tech company feel with the design and helps prepare students for careers in the industry.

One of the most beautiful buildings on campus. Has lots of space for collaboration, great views, and a cafe and coffee shop.

No need to explain. Just go and explore. You will always find this building interesting

The new GDC building is great. It has the contemporary glass feeling without being annoyingly hard to navigate (looking at you MIT Stata center)

Great building, sadly only for Computer Science majors. Some of the chairs are a bit funny looking.
