We love Woodbridge School of Dance. My daughter has been dancing for over 10 years and they’re not just a dance school, but our second family. We just don’t dance, we share so many family moments and have made many friendships. We love that there is great diversity and being Latin we have always felt welcome. WSD has been a fundamental part of my 2 childrens lives for the past 12 years. They started with just one hour a week as recreational dance, and soon after joined the competition team.Both of my kids love Ms. Jacqui (founder and owner), besides being an amazing tap teacher, shes caring, compassionate and understanding.My daughter wouldnt miss any Thursday night jazz and lyrical classes with Ms. Barbara (co-director) she called it therapy Thursday, it didnt matter how tired she was, thats where she wanted to be until 9:45pm because it was so much fun.Ill always be thankful to Ms. Kim for believing in my son and adding him to her hip hop team. Every time she gives my son a compliment, he comes home excited and he tries harder to get the choreography and make Kim proud.My Kids have also taken classes with Mr.Q, Mr. Tom, Ms. Lydiette, Ms. Liz, and Ms. Tiffany and they have all been awesome.WSD also has a great office staff, Amanda, Darlene and Ms. Smith, they always answer any problem or concern promptly and politely.I went to WSD looking for dance lessons for my daughter and son, instead I found a multicultural second home for my Dominican family.P.S.To the person who said she was the only Latino/mix race family: thats far from the truth since even their staff has Latinos, blacks, and mixed families.... including Amandas family.Also, if I remember correctly, the email with recital information said that seating was assigned in the order payment was received. Thats how its always been.

My daughter has been dancing at this school since she was 3 and it has been the best experience. The teachers are amazing and the owners Jacqui and Barb are great with the kids. The school is very diverse and we love that everyone gets a fair shot. They really treat you like family. Highly recommend this school!

Our Girls have been dancing at Woodbridge School of Dance for more than 12 years and they love it! It is their second home and they are family to us, the staff are very humble and always make sure our kids feel included, it is a very diverse environment and everyone is treated the same, we Love it here! I don’t even know where to begin with this bad experience. Today was my daughter’s recital day. We went to the front to confirm our seating . Director Jacky couldn’t find the name on the roster. I pointed to my daughters name and she said I thought you said a different name .We asked Amanda, the teacher to show us where we are seating. Go figure our seats are all the way towards the back of the football field . I asked why are we sitting here at the end ? I can’t even see the stage …She screams because you were the last that paid for the tickets . I asked what does that have to do with anything ? She said again loud and clear, “You paid last you’re seated last”. I was totally embarrassed by this incident . I asked for my hard earned money back and she screams Again refund these people their money back . I must mention we are the only Latino and mixed race parents there . We were treated like second class citizens. Our daughter will not go back there at all

Great dance school! Over the years, this school has become like family though their friendliness, love and support for our children! The teachers and staff are kind, patient and enthusiastic. I highly recommend this dance school. My daughter has been dancing at WSD for 2 years and I hope she will be there for many more.

I went there when I was 4 and 5. It was so much fun and I learned a lot. Although, that was about 5 years ago, it was still very fun and I loved the costumes!
