I rode at North Crest for a number of years while going through graduate school. Overall, my experience at North Crest was wonderful. Julie Taylor takes good care of the horses and the facilities were always very clean. During my lessons, I felt challenged but supported by the instructors. I always left feeling inspired to be better at riding by the end of my lessons. Lastly, everyone at the facility is very friendly and was willing to help me if I had a question. I would recommend North Crest to anyone interested in starting riding.

My daughter and I both feel so fortunate to have ended up riding here! Safety is Julies top priority. The horses are well cared for and everyone has become our barn family. Julie is an excellent dressage instructor.

I had the best childhood experiences at North Crest. I learned so much and ridding truly has enriched my life. Julie runs an amazing barn and teaching facility. She is a transformational leader and lovely person. I highly recommend North Crest for lessons, boarding, and training!

I started lessons at North Crest in August 2017 and I have been going weekly ever since. I am a beginner rider and the amount of improvement I have made since then is more than I could imagine. Everyone I have met at the barn is very friendly and all of the horses are well taken care of - spoiled most of the time (but thats how it should be). Julie Taylor is a wonderful trainer and person. She is patient, kind and always makes me feel safe when riding. With Julies experience/background, I feel lucky to have her train me. I have had only a few lessons with Nina and Annie (the other two instructors) and they as well are wonderful trainers to work with. I highly recommend North Crest for beginner and experienced riders.

I didn’t start taking lessons until I was 40 years old. I am now 64 and still enjoying taking a lesson once a week. Its never too late to start riding! I chose North Crest because it offered an opportunity to enjoy one on one time tacking and grazing the horse and having private lessons to learn at my own pace. I have learned so much from the well informed trainers and barn staff . I’ve also made many friends from the barn.

I have been coming to North Crest for years . Ive ridden their horses and have trailered my horse in for lessons. My niece has been riding here on the beginner horses. No matter what level you are at they have accommodated our needs. This is My favorite riding center I recommend it to everyone!

Excellent! The Tack-Up and ride was a great way to get the kids the basics. This summer they are riding at the Culver Academies and the grounding they got at North Crest really helped!
