I cant say enough good things about Take Five. I am currently a member of their Performance Company, and I have been dancing there since I was three years old. All my teammates are super kind and are always there to help me. Ive danced with some of those girls for as long as I can remember, so theyre practically my second family. My teachers push me to my limits and support me in both my dance and educational pursuits. One of my favorite Take Five traditions is when all the Company dancers and teachers form a circle, hold hands (this was before COVID), and say a prayer. We do this before every recital and holiday show. It is so inspiring to work with so many talented people under so many outstanding teachers. Take Five has been a blessing in my life, and I am proud to represent them through my dancing.

This studio is exceptional in every way! All four of my girls take classes here and even two of my boys have enjoyed hip hop classes here as well. My children are not “just another number” and their teachers really invest in their lives on the dance floor and off! They are more like family at this point. I am especially impressed with how they have handled the pandemic-very professional, clean, and the well being of your child always comes first!

So we have been out of class. so I have missed class And I’m the teacher. we are owed make up classes. I was advised ,Now I have to repay for the new season for her to make up classes I paid for already. How does this work. I feel taken advantage of. To many changes to keep up with. This is too much at this point. Not sure if anyone else has paid and now has to repay? I paid for costumes too and this out of every ones hands but they should explain better. This is my first time in dance and from the beginning I was confused. I enrolled in 2 intro classes. We changed it and we love the teachers. But with the times when people are dying and losing jobs I feel like I waisted money. I’m letting her stay for now but it’s unfair I have to pay for make up classes. Concerned.The discount was $30. She missed the showcase because they say they told me during a zoom meeting. Never heard it never got a call on the 16th like they said. You would think since the showcase was coming they had a costume they would have called a paying customer at least twice. I also called them about it.I would not recommend this place. CDC guidelines are you kidding we all took those precautions you took my money.

My daughter has been dancing here for 5 years. She loves it. It has brought her out of her shell so she could make friends and has taught her so much. She has made life long friends already starting in the toddler time class. She is now in the elementary level and still loves going to class. We have had many of the teachers and they have all been amazing.

We tried a couple studios before Take Five and it was the best. Ms. Cammy is an amazing instructor! Brenda in the office is wonderful. The shows are very organized and run smoothly. Excellent!

This has been an amazing experience for my daughter. There is something here for every size, age, ethnicity, and gender. I have seen so much personal growth in my daughter since she Jazz started eight weeks ago; its been a world of difference. Im even thinking of doing a few classes after watching the girls and how much fun they are having while they quickly improve. Ill also be signing up both of my sons. Very happy about Take Five Dance Academy!!

Its my daughters first time in Dance. She loves her teacher Ms. Courtney. And she made great friends.

Rating based on interactions with owner only - not based on instructors. That being said, because of how obnoxiously rude this owner is I will not enroll my two daughters at this dance studio and I will let other parents who ask my opinion know that their money is better spent at another dance studio. Unfortunately, if the owner behaves this poorly, its not a stretch to think that the instructors do as well.

I recommend that this studio enrolls in cultural and ethnicity training. I recommend that this studio realize that they are not asserting inclusion for all. I recommend that this studio make a conscious effort to do better and to recognize the lack of diversity cultural recognition and understanding they actually have. Just because you have staff and students or family of color does NOT automatically mean that you are conscious and aware of potential racists and discriminatory practices. In this day and age, it is not ok to assume that one size or color fits all. If you want true growth and inclusion, recognize your errors, right your wrongs and commit to doing better for all, not just those who most resemble your physical characteristics. I suggest these recommendations based on what my daughter and I experienced at Take five Dance Academy. Others may have had different experiences. Unfortunately when I tried to voice my concerns, I was met with laughter, indifference and disrespect. I would NEVER again refer recommend anyone seek instruction from this dance studio.

Terrible experience. The instructor is no good the owners are no good. Also this is a joke an uoy wasting money do not go for prices because you will get horrible service. Worst decision ever .

Hi my name is Mikayla and Ive been to take 5 dance for only about 2 to 3 months and I really like there dance a they have a nice costume dances my class is with Miss CJ at 4 oclock to 5 oclock on Thursdays shes the best shes been working there for I have never asked but take 5 dance I would give it 5 stars out even give 5 billion its the best best best best best best best best dance company ever it should have its own TV show like dance moms

Hello everyone i am Talyn! My experience at take 5 was very amazing. I made the fifth element team but had to leave unfortunately. if i had the chance to come back to take five i definately would. Everyone if you need a studio to come to in arizona i suggest TAKE FIVE DANCE ACADEMY!!!
